Journey to Planar World

Day 25.

The next day.

Shops throughout the city had started their business at a rather early hour in the morning, filling the streets with a bustling crowd of merchants and customers.

At a small breakfast stall, Charlie and Aishia sat side by side, enjoying their still-warm food.

Despite having plenty of money, Charlie preferred a simple life over a luxurious one.

’Should I report my level-up to the Guild?’

While pondering this topic, Charlie looked at the passersby.

’The fact that I reached Level 2 within eleven days of receiving Falna is known only to a handful of people, and they wouldn’t spread it around recklessly. Therefore, when I reported leveling up to Level 2 back then, no one cared about it. Besides, they don’t know how long it took me to reach Level 2.’

”Hm?”

His contemplation was interrupted when he saw a goddess rushing past the pedestrians.

As discussed previously, mortals would immediately know whether someone was a God or Goddess just by glancing at them.

Charlie would have been indifferent if it were a God and Goddess he didn’t know. After all, gods roaming around Orario wasn’t a rare occurrence, rather, it was a daily routine.

The reason he showed interest in the passing goddess was because he recognized the other party.

The goddess had a petite figure and possessed large breasts that were disproportionate to her small frame. Her waist-length black hair was tied into twintails with blue and white petal hair accessories and bell-shaped ornaments.

The most striking aspect of the goddess was that she wore a white mini-dress with a blue ribbon around her neck and another ribbon tied around her waist.

”One of the Three Virgin Goddesses, Hestia.”

Hestia’s figure was no longer visible in the distance, Charlie wasn’t interested in trying to interact with her without any need.

’The Loki Familia expedition team hasn’t returned from the Dungeon, which means the plot where Bell is saved by Aiz from the Minotaur will soon happen. But... I wonder how much the plot will change because of my arrival.’

Of course, Charlie wouldn’t intentionally intervene in the plot.

As for Aiz’s feelings towards him?

He never took it seriously. In his opinion, Aiz was influenced by his Spirit Art. A similar situation occurred when people were captivated by the Charm of the Goddess of Beauty.

’Alright, let’s postpone telling the Guild about me reaching Level 3 for now. If word gets out that an adventurer has leveled up to Level 3 in just thirteen days, it will definitely cause more negative impact than benefit for me.’

Weighing the pros and cons seriously. In the end, Charlie decided to keep his current Level 3 a secret.

His identity as a member of the Hera Familia and his ambiguous relationship with the Sword Princess of the Loki Familia, both of these topics had made him the center of attention for many people and gods.

Charlie didn’t want things to become more troublesome when other adventurers learned that he was the fastest level holder to reach Level 3 in history.

’In the original work, when Bell Cranel reached Level 2 in a month and a half, it caused a stir in Orario. Many adventurers were envious and hated him. Especially, Low Class Adventurers who were still stuck at Level 1 after years or even decades.’

’Not a few of them picked fights with Bell because of it. After all, who likes to see a nameless rookie surpass senior adventurers and become famous? Although I’m not afraid of experiencing a similar situation, I’m very busy and don’t want to waste my time dealing with Low Class Adventurers who can only vent their frustration on others instead of being motivated to improve themselves.’

Reaching a conclusion in his mind, Charlie realized that Aishia had finished her food and was staring at him silently.

”Is there something on my face, Aishia?”

”Nothing. It’s just that I like looking at Charlie. Is that not allowed?”

”You don’t need my permission for such a trivial matter. Look at me as much as you want.”

”Mm.”

Then, under Aishia’s gaze that couldn’t be averted, Charlie ate undisturbed.

Paying the bill, they both joined the crowd of pedestrians and went to visit many shops.

After having a permanent place to live, Charlie took Aishia to buy household furniture and other things.

One hour later.

Back at home, Charlie and Aishia worked together to arrange the furniture they bought today.

”This looks better.”

”Mm.”

If the house previously felt empty due to the lack of furniture, now the atmosphere felt different and looked more lively, making it a comfortable place to stay.

”Well then, I want to try the bathtub. Charlie, do you want to bathe together?” Aishia innocently invited.

”Ahem... Maybe next time, you go first.” Charlie refused without hesitation.

He was worried he wouldn’t be able to control himself from attacking Aishia.

”...”

Aishia nodded slightly, went to the bedroom, took the beautiful dress she bought today from the closet, she started taking off her clothes in the bathroom, and soaked in the hot tub.

”I wonder how long I can hold out.” Charlie smiled wryly, then sat in the rocking chair on the front porch.

In the next few days, he planned to take a break from exploring the Dungeon and use this time to relax.

”There’s still a deadline in the transaction with the Guild and Loki Familia. Tomorrow, I’ll visit the Familia specializing in crafts to make me a product that will be used as a Space-Time Cache.”

Closing his eyes, feeling a tranquility he hadn’t felt since starting his revenge plan and having to hide like a sewer rat because he was being hunted by the country, Charlie thought about his future plans.

”A regular bag isn’t suitable to be used as a storage device. If the bag is damaged, I’m worried that the pocket dimension inside will collapse and anything stored inside will disappear into thin air. If that situation happens, the buyers will demand responsibility from me. Therefore, the material of the storage device must have a durability that is difficult to destroy.”

Thinking about the worst-case scenario, Charlie felt lucky that the satchel he was using didn’t get damaged during the expedition. If not, all the magic stones and drop items he had obtained with great effort would be lost.

”Speaking of which, I realize my shortcomings when fighting Revis.”

Remembering that he had to flee from Revis because he almost lost, Charlie didn’t consider it a disgrace, instead, he motivated himself to become stronger.

”My shortcoming is... The lack of a ultimate technique in my swordsmanship!”

”Fire Explosion and Chain Dragon Lightning can be classified as ultimate techniques because they have tremendous destructive power. But they require a few seconds of charging time. Thus, it’s not suitable to be used in close combat.”

”In other words, I need to develop an ultimate technique that uses the sword as activation.”

”Well, I guess there’s no harm in taking the time to develop a new ultimate technique. Even before a month has passed since I reincarnated, and I’m already Level 3.”

”Level 3 is a Second Class Adventurer, and considered the backbone of most Familia in Orario. After all, only the top Familia have First Class Adventurers as their foundation.”

Today Charlie was too busy that he forgot he wanted to meet Aphrodite as he told Hermes yesterday.

However, that didn’t mean Aphrodite wouldn’t come to him after knowing his location from Hermes.

”You have no conscience!”

Suddenly a robed figure stood in front of Charlie.

”Goddess Aphrodite? Why are you here?”

Seeing the face of the woman in front of him, Charlie was a little surprised by the other party’s appearance.
