Journey to Planar World

Only after Charlie coated his sword blade with lightning did his attacks begin to effectively damage the Green Dragon. Even so, it wasn’t a fatal wound and only enraged the Green Dragon.

”ROOOAAR—”

Relying on his incredible speed, Charlie dodged the Green Dragon’s attack.

”We can’t keep this up or that crazy woman will catch up soon.”

Not knowing Revis wasn’t interested in chasing him, Charlie assumed the other party had sent the Green Dragon to hold him back.

It was true. He didn’t believe the Green Dragon appeared by chance.

”I have to defeat the Green Dragon as soon as possible.”

Not wanting to fight the Green Dragon any longer, Charlie decided to try a technique that was still in its prototype stage.

”Aishia, give me a moment, I’m going to try something.”

”Mm, leave it to me.”

Without hesitation, Aishia agreed even without asking what Charlie wanted to do.

She raised her hand, summoning wind and ice to hold the Green Dragon in place.

*WHOOSH*

*KRRRKK*

The blast of cold wind and swirling ice crystals stopped the Green Dragon momentarily, giving Charlie enough time to prepare.

”Huft... Let’s remember junior high school physics lessons.”

Charlie regulated his breath, concentrating. In his mind, he imagined combustion. He began manipulating the oxygen in the surrounding air, carefully gathering it while creating a spark in the air.

*FWOOSH*

A small flame ignited between his palms, but it was just the beginning. Next, he added more oxygen, increasing the air pressure and causing the flame’s temperature to skyrocket. The flame changed from orange to pale blue, burning with high intensity.

”This isn’t enough. To fight a dragon-species monster, I need a very powerful destructive attack.”

Then, Charlie added another chemical element, hydrogen. He isolated hydrogen and oxygen around the blue flame without letting them touch.

”Please don’t explode.”

Sweat began to drip from his forehead, he knew that the slightest mistake would cause failure and he would be blown up by his own technique.

Although Karasuki Rio’s energy control was extraordinary, Charlie wished he had Gojo Satoru’s Six Eyes which provided energy control down to the atomic level, or Cid Kaganou’s perfect energy control ability that made him one of the strongest existences in his world.

If he had one of those abilities, he was sure his Spirit Art would be even more terrifying.

”ROOOAAR—”

The Green Dragon roared angrily as it dodged the ice spears launched by Aishia. Sensing the danger from Charlie in the distance, it wanted to prevent him from finishing whatever he was doing.

”I won’t let you interfere with Charlie.”

*WHOOSH*

Aishia waved her hand, a strong gust of wind blowing the Green Dragon backwards.

”Success! Aishia, return to your astral form now. Don’t get hit by this attack.”

After the fusion of oxygen and hydrogen was successful, Charlie gave a serious reminder. Even he didn’t know how powerful the effect would be.

”Understood.”

Calmly and confidently, Aishia turned into particles of light and disappeared into her astral form.

”ROOOAAR—”

The Green Dragon, stabilizing its figure, began to growl angrily, flapping its wings towards Charlie.

”Goodbye, lizard.”

”Fire Explosion.”

Charlie prepared his attack, the blue flame in his hand shining brightly. Then, with one swift motion, he threw it towards the Green Dragon.

*BOOOOOM*

A massive explosion occurred. The blue flame exploded with incredible power. The air seemed to be sucked into the center of the explosion before releasing a devastating shockwave that hit in all directions.

*WHOOOOOSH*

The sound of the explosion echoed throughout the 24th Floor, shaking the ground and the surrounding ceiling. The shockwave swept through the air, blowing away dust and debris, hitting the large trees around and even shaking the structures on the 24th Floor.

The light of the explosion was dazzling to anyone who witnessed it, exploding with a spectrum of blue, orange, and white that blended together, like the sight of a star collapsing in the night sky.

The Green Dragon’s scales, which had been impenetrable until now, were shattered by the extreme heat of the blue flame that enveloped its body.

”GRRRRAAAAAAH!”

Its last roar was heard before its body vanished in the massive explosion, instantly turning into dust, leaving only a glowing magic stone where the Green Dragon once stood.

The heat wave that followed the explosion was felt even from afar, causing the adventurers who witnessed it from afar, including the members of the Loki Familia, to stare in awe and shock.

Bete, who was usually cynical, could only stand frozen, his mouth agape.

”Fuck... What did he just do? Is this something a Level 2 can do?!” His voice was full of awe that couldn’t be hidden.

Lefiya stared in disbelief, her eyes wide open.

”Isn’t that hooligan a swordsman? Why can he use such powerful magic? None of my magic produces that kind of destructive power...”

She doubted her own life. She was a skilled Mage and the heir to the strongest Mage in Orario, Reviria.

Witnessing a swordsman who could use magic with the destructive power possessed by Reviria, Lefiya felt her self-esteem hit. After all, Elf are a race known for their high self-esteem.

”It seems we still underestimated Charlie Avalon. With the power he showed, it wouldn’t be impossible to defeat a Level 5 if they were careless.” Finn glanced at Riveria beside him.

”That magic isn’t weaker than my Rea Laevateinn. But he doesn’t need any chants and his charge time is only 30 seconds, it’s a pity he’s not a Mage.” Riveria sighed and regretted that the other party wasn’t from the Loki Familia.

”That was so cool! His attack was truly spectacular!” Tiona shouted.

”Level 2...” Aiz muttered in a low voice. Her expression was complex and her heart was even more convinced that Charlie was a hero for her, as her father had once said.

As for Raul, Line, Aki, Alicia, and the other members of the Loki Familia, they were stunned watching the scene in the sky.

Was Charlie really a Level 2? If he claimed to be a Level 5, they wouldn’t doubt his statement.

Back to the battlefield.

The dust slowly settled, and in the middle of it, only Charlie stood motionless, his body slightly swaying from the large amount of Essence/Mana he had just released.

His breath was ragged, his body lost its balance and fell.

Aishia manifested her material form, caught Charlie, and flew him away from the eyes of those who witnessed it.

”Congratulations, Charlie, you managed to defeat the Green Dragon.”

”No, I couldn’t have done it alone, this isn’t my victory but ours.”

”Mm.”

Aishia’s lips formed a beautiful smile on her face. Unfortunately, Charlie couldn’t see it because he had already fainted.

The Essence/Mana consumption of Fire Explosion exceeded his calculations. As a result, he experienced Mind Zero.

”Find a safe place for Charlie to recover.”

Aishia flew away carrying Charlie with a princess carry.
