Journey to Planar World

”Tsk, does this hero have no dignity? He ran away without hesitation after realizing he couldn’t win. Wise but cowardly. He shames the glory and achievements of other heroes in the past.”

Unable to fly, Revis could only watch Charlie’s figure fly away.

There was no choice. Even though she wanted to end the threat factor, she couldn’t stop the other party from running away even if she wanted to.

”Don’t think you can get away easily.” Revis said sarcastically.

Placing two fingers on her lips, she whistled loudly.

*PEEP—*

”ROAAARR-”

Soon after, the roar of a wild beast could be heard as if resonating in response to the whistle.

”Chase and kill that man.”

Revis gave the order and turned away, no longer paying attention to what happened next. The next moment, a large figure flew towards Charlie at a terrifying speed.

She had the Tamer skill, so she ordered the Green Dragon she had tamed to deal with Charlie.

Considering Charlie’s strength, Revis didn’t expect the Green Dragon to be able to kill him, but at least it could make his escape more difficult.

Meanwhile, Charlie shot through the air, as fast as lightning with his Wind-Lightning Spirit Art. Behind him, a loud roar could be heard getting closer.

Turning back, he saw a dragon resembling a lizard over ten meters in size, its green scales reflecting the faint light from the blue moss growing on the 24th Floor, making the sight even more terrifying.

”That’s the Green Dragon. Why is its timing so bad!”

Realizing another crisis was approaching, Charlie drank a Dual Potion to restore his mind. It would be very dangerous to experience Mind Zero while in a fight.

However, he forgot he wasn’t fighting alone.

”I can’t just stand by and watch anymore.”

Aishia appeared beside him in astral form. Her figure emitted a soft light as she materialized her physical form.

”...”

Charlie looked at her for a moment, feeling hesitant. Previously, he wanted to protect Aishia and not let her get involved in this danger. But this time, after seeing the unexpected appearance of the Green Dragon and realizing the danger they faced, he realized that this battle was not something he could face alone.

With a small nod, Charlie replied, ”Okay. Let’s do it together.”

”ROAAARR-”

The Green Dragon sped up, its eyes burning brightly as it chased them.

”This is going to hurt...”

Charlie reinforced himself with the Lightning Spirit Art once again, transforming his body into a blue flash that enveloped his sword.

*ZZZT*

Every movement of his was now accompanied by a subtle rumbling sound of lightning energy flowing throughout his body.

*WHOOSH*

Then, Charlie moved at an incredible speed, dodging the green fire breath released by the Green Dragon.

The destructive power could be seen from the fire burning the air around it. The flames could burn a Level 2 adventurer like him to ashes in seconds.

*CRACK*

Aishia seemed calm as always, her two hands raised slowly. The air around her began to freeze, the temperature dropping drastically as she used the Ice Spirit Art. In an instant, shards of ice began to form around her, swirling like a small, controlled storm.

’I’ll freeze it to hold it back.’ Aishia sent her voice through telepathy. Charlie just nodded, not losing focus on his opponent’s movements.

”ROAAARR-”

*WHOOSH*

The Green Dragon roared again, followed by a powerful tail strike, trying to hit them from the air. Charlie twisted his body in the air, spinning with a flexible movement, dodging the attack. Every time he swung his sword, a blue lightning flash struck, hitting the Green Dragon’s hard scales.

*SWOOSH* *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH*

*CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG*

However, the Green Dragon’s scales were too strong. Charlie’s slashes only produced small sparks, like hitting steel with iron.

”I knew it, this won’t be easy. After all, dragons are recognized as the most powerful type of monster with their unreasonable defense and attacks.”

While dodging claw and tail attacks, Charlie scanned the Green Dragon’s body, trying to find the dragon’s reverse scale, if it really existed.

Unbeknownst to him, his actions against the Green Dragon became a spectacle for adventurers on the 24th Floor. After all, their aerial battle was very eye-catching, it was impossible for people to ignore it.

Plus, this was the first time people witnessed an aerial battle. Usually, adventurers would fight the Green Dragon on land after they attacked its wings and eliminated its flying ability. If not, the Green Dragon could slaughter its opponents from the air.

In the distance, the members of the Loki Familia watched the aerial battle between Charlie and the Green Dragon. They had just arrived on the 24th Floor and didn’t expect to be able to watch a spectacular aerial battle.

Their eyes widened, unable to hide their shock. Although some of them had a bad impression of Charlie, the sight left them all stunned.

Aiz couldn’t keep her composure, staring at the battle while clenching her fist.

”So this is Charlie’s true power... At Level 2, he can fight the Green Dragon...”

She knew very well how tough the Green Dragon was. A Level 4 monster that prevented most Second-Class Adventurers from descending to the Lower Floor.

However, Charlie, who was only Level 2, was able to dominate the battle against the Green Dragon. For Aiz, whose biggest goal was to pursue power, she couldn’t help but envy the other party’s abnormal growth.

Bete, who had previously often mocked Charlie for his lower strength, snorted coldly.

”I could defeat the Green Dragon in just a few minutes.”

”That’s because you’re Level 5! Bete, do you believe you can fight the Green Dragon when you were still Level 2? Charlie is amazing, just admit it.”

Hearing the sarcastic comment, Tiona, as a hero fan, couldn’t accept it and retorted to Bete.

”Tsk. Stupid Amazoness.” Bete turned away in shame and anger.

’Oh no, Aiz-san is becoming more fascinated by that hooligan’s strength! This isn’t good, I have to do something or Aiz-san will be taken away.’

Seeing Aiz unable to take her attention away from Charlie, Lefiya felt anxious and panicked.

”Riveria, are you paying attention to it?”

”Yes. Both of them can use magic instantly without chanting.”

As the strongest Mage in Orario, it was impossible for Riveria not to notice what Finn noticed.

”HAHAHA... This kid has the guts to fight the Green Dragon alone! If he manages to defeat it, I’m sure Charlie will get an achievement. Considering he fought a monster higher than his level in the Middle Floor, his promotion to Level 3 won’t be long.”

Finn, Riveria, and the others agreed with Gareth’s comment.

Raul, Line, Aki, Alicia, and other members of the Loki Familia couldn’t help but envy and admire Charlie. After all, it took years just to level up. On the other hand, Charlie, not even a month since receiving the Falna blessing, was about to catch up to their level.

Charlie Avalon’s name would be etched in their memory as a genius beyond Aiz Wallenstein...
