Journey to Planar World

”Not only awakening one skill but two at once! It seems Karasuki Rio’s hidden potential is greater than Bell Cranel…”

After quickly reading the contents of the parchment, Charlie didn’t consider this entirely due to himself, but rather because of the body he was using.

”This was all achieved through Charlie’s own effort and hard work, not because of anyone else.” Aishia disagreed with the statement.

”...”

Hearing Aishia defending him, Charlie didn’t argue and just smiled wryly.

Not wanting to continue this sensitive topic, he analyzed his two new skills.

”Triptolemus Arc and Infinite Essence…”

”Isn’t Infinite Essence too OP? This could disrupt the balance.”

Despite his complaints, this was good news for him. Now Charlie could use Spirit Arts with more variety and AOE attacks without having to worry about running out of Essence/Mana and experiencing Mind Zero.

”Previously I was hindered by my limited magic essence. So I couldn’t materialize techniques with destructive power beyond reason with Spirit Art. Now that problem is solved.”

Charlie had long had the idea of using Spirit Art to produce a technique with destructive power equivalent to a nuclear bomb. For example, the technique I Am Atomic by Cid Kagenou aka Shadow.

However, after many trials, he failed. The problem lay in the insufficient Essence/Mana consumption to materialize it. After all, he tried that experiment when he was still Level 1. It would be even stranger if he could actually do it at that time.

”With the Infinite Essence skill, the obstacle that has been bothering me has been overcome. Then it’s up to me to develop a technique with destructive power equivalent to a nuclear bomb.”

”Mhm~…”

Hearing a soft breath, Charlie woke up from his contemplation. Then, he saw that Aishia had somehow lain down and slept on the bed.

Aishia was wearing thin pajamas that showed off her captivating curves. Because she wasn’t wearing underwear while sleeping, Charlie could clearly see her sensitive areas.

”Gulp…”

Unbeknownst to him, he swallowed hard, his throat felt dry, his mind filled with lewd thoughts as if there was a demon whispering in his ear, and Charlie was in a daze, unable to look away from the helpless figure of Aishia.

”That was close. Hah… Hah… Hah…”

Before his right hand touched Aishia, Charlie stopped it with his left hand, and hurriedly kept his distance.

Regulating his breathing so that his heart rate returned to normal, he managed to calm his sexual arousal.

”My mental age isn’t young enough to lust after the opposite sex, but it’s different with my reincarnated body. Physically, I’m a teenager with a high libido.”

”If my comrades in my previous life knew this, they would laugh at me.”

Anyone who could be a member of a country’s special forces would certainly have above-average mental strength and not easily swayed.

Charlie even boasted to his teammates that he wouldn’t be tempted by any woman other than his wife.

Perhaps because this body wasn’t originally his, he lost most of the mental resilience training he had undergone. Therefore, he almost lost his sanity just by living under the same roof as Aishia.

”Sigh… I’m so pathetic…”

Taking a deep breath, Charlie slapped his cheeks until they left handprints so that he wouldn’t have any impure thoughts anymore.

”Next, the Triptolemus Arc skill!”

”Hmm… So that’s it. In short, my luck and speed will increase when I’m being chased. The effect is somewhat similar to the Escape Development Ability.”

”Well, compared to Infinite Essence, this Triptolemus Arc is mediocre. It’s better to have it than not at all. Who would refuse a free additional skill? I should be grateful rather than complaining.”

”Let’s familiarize myself with my strength first before going to sleep.”

Glancing at Aishia, Charlie took off his Eclipse Aegis Cloak, Damocles Sword, and other equipment. Wearing only a long-sleeved black T-shirt and ordinary trousers, he went to the small yard in front of his house, and began practicing to familiarize himself with the increase in all the stats on his basic abilities.

What Charlie experienced was a normal thing that every adventurer felt after leveling up.

Every time an adventurer levels up, their body and mind will become inconsistent due to the increase in basic abilities. It takes time to adapt so that adventurers can get used to it and exert their true strength as usual.

”Huft…”

Exhaling, Charlie demonstrated the traditional Indonesian martial art: Silat.

Silat is a martial art that is very famous in Southeast Asia, especially in Indonesia. Silat is known worldwide not only because it often appears on Hollywood screens, but also because it is one of the most deadly survival arts.

”Because I often use swords in this life, I haven’t used Silat martial arts in combat for a long time.”

Charlie turned his body agilely. His hands stretched out, and he jumped into the air, then landed with a powerful blow to the ground. He stepped forward quickly and unleashed a powerful straight punch.

From another person’s perspective, Charlie looked like he was dancing rather than practicing martial arts. Passersby would give him strange looks, but no one would bother him.

This training process continued until Charlie reached a point where his body began to get used to the new strength. Every movement became more natural and smoother.

Feeling his whole body drenched in sweat, Charlie said helplessly, ”After doing strenuous activity, my body sweats. I can’t sleep in this condition, it seems I should take a bath before going to sleep.”

”Hm?”

As he was about to take a step, he felt an intense gaze on him. Charlie didn’t doubt his sharp perception. Following the direction of the source of the gaze, he saw the towering Babel Tower whose peak was not visible.

’There’s no mistake, that gaze came from Babel Tower. Loki lives with her Familia members at Twilight Manor, so the only god who has the right to stay at the top of Babel Tower is… Freya!’

Although it was only an assumption, Charlie was sure that the person watching him from the top of Babel Tower was none other than the Goddess of Beauty, Freya.

’Sigh… There’s nothing good about being Freya’s target. Give me a break, dealing with the Goddess of Beauty Aphrodite was already very troublesome, don’t add the Goddess of Beauty Freya to the list.’

Not knowing if the other party could hear him, Charlie could only complain in his heart.

Even after becoming Level 3, he was so arrogant that he declared that he could fight Level 7 in Freya Familia.

’Ignore me, just focus on Bell Cranel.’

After saying that in his mind, Charlie hurried into the house.

Babel Tower.

Holding a glass of wine, her lips curled into a smile, Freya’s interest in Charlie grew.

”Interesting. He can feel my surveillance. Ottar, have you gotten what I asked for?”

”Yes, Freya-sama. This is it.”

Standing in front of the door was a tall, muscular man with a pair of boar ears.

The man’s name was Ottar, the strongest adventurer in Orario Labyrinth City, the only Level 7 with the alias King!

”Sword Princess Aiz Wallenstein and even Aphrodite… Charlie Avalon… He hasn’t been here for long, but he’s already attracted the attention of two beautiful blonde girls… If only compare souls, Bell Cranel is slightly superior to him.”

”Since Charlie Avalon can interact normally with Aphrodite, it means he isn’t affected by Charm. Then what about me?”

”It seems I have to meet him in person instead of using the persona I did with Bell.”

”...”

Ottar stood obediently with a serious expression on his face. There was no jealousy in his heart even though Freya wanted to have an intimate relationship with another man.
