Journey to Planar World

Loki Familia’s campsite.

Everyone is busy with their own tasks.

Some are setting up tents, gathering firewood, cooking, counting potion supplies, sharpening weapons, etc. In short, no one is lazy.

”Raul, have you seen Aiz?”

Bete asks a man named Raul, who is tending to his weapon.

”If you’re looking for Aiz, she went with Tiona to patrol and exterminate monsters in the area. Ah, just as I was talking about it, they’re back...”

Raul doesn’t finish his sentence, his mouth opens wide enough to fit an egg and his eyes open wide and unblinking.

”What’s wrong with you? You’re acting weird.”

Following Raul’s gaze, Bete sees Aiz and Tiona approaching with two additional people.

”Gulp... She’s beautiful...”

Now Bete understands the reason behind Raul’s exaggerated reaction. Even for him, who has feelings for Aiz, he is captivated by the beautiful pink-haired girl at their side.

”That damn bastard! How dare he come here!”

Recovering his rationality, Bete grits his teeth in anger as he sees the man he hates most looking very affectionate with the pink-haired girl.

From the start, Bete is a temperamental and short-sighted person. Seeing this scene, his emotions ignite with anger, his figure shoots towards the group.

*WHOOSH*

The sound of wind approaching, Charlie already realizes that someone is attacking him with malicious intent. However, before he can do anything, someone else takes action.

Standing in front of him, he sees Aiz blocking the other party’s kick with the sword still in its sheath.

”Bete, what are you doing all of a sudden?”

After the attacker lands on the ground, Tiona sees that the other party is Bete, she can’t hold back her anger.

”That should be my line! Stupid Amazoness, why did you bring this guy here?! Don’t forget, he’s a member of Hera Familia!”

Bete is almost crazy because Aiz is protecting Charlie.

”It’s not up to you to decide whether Charlie can come or not. Let the captain decide.” Tiona says firmly.

”...”

Aiz doesn’t say anything, but the fact that she stands in front of Charlie shows her choice.

”Oi, damn bastard, are you just standing behind women? If you’re a man, face me directly and fairly!”

Knowing he can’t do anything with Aiz and Tiona by Charlie’s side, Bete provokes him to fight him.

”Fair? Bete Loga, how dare you say that. You are Level 5, while I just reached Level 2. A First-Class Adventurer challenging a Third-Class Adventurer, where’s the fairness? It’s blatant bullying.”

Because of Bete’s unexpected action, other Loki Familia adventurers gather to watch. Hearing Charlie’s rhetoric, they all find Bete’s actions unreasonable.

Of course, because they come from the same Familia, they can only think about it and dare not talk about it.

”You!”

Bete’s face turns red with shame and anger. He finds himself unable to argue with the other party.

In the previous fight, he was slightly disadvantaged, which is why he forgot that the other party is just a Low-Class Adventurer.

”Enough, Bete. Don’t humiliate yourself further.”

A commanding voice is heard. Then, a Pallum man named Finn arrives with a Dwarf man and a beautiful green-haired Elf woman.

The three of them are the senior executives of Loki Familia, Finn, Gareth, and Riveria.

”Tsk, this isn’t over.”

Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Bete glares at Charlie before leaving. He’s worried he won’t be able to hold back if he keeps seeing Aiz and Charlie’s closeness.

”...”

Charlie ignores Bete’s threat, he’s more interested in the three senior executives approaching them.

’So this is Level 6...’

In his eyes, Finn, Gareth, and Riveria have a light within their bodies that emits a brighter glow than anyone he’s ever seen so far.

”Captain, I’m sorry for acting on my own without consulting you.”

Scratching his head, Tiona says to Finn.

”It’s true that I said I wanted to talk to Charlie Avalon. It’s not your fault, Tiona.”

With a helpless smile, Finn doesn’t blame Tiona.

”Hohoho... You could come to Floor 21 just the two of you, you have guts, young man.”

Stroking his thick beard, Gareth looks at Charlie with appreciation in his eyes.

Riveria: ”🤨”

Compared to Gareth and Finn who are more focused on Charlie, she is more interested in Aishia.

The Elf race has a deep connection with magic, skilled in ancient methods, namely chanting spells without Falna, which must be chanted at length with a higher chance of backfiring, but ultimately gives them an advantage against ordinary enemies without Falna.

Elf are generally racist and look down on others for having traits that are usually more attractive and longer lifespans than other races. Seeing others as ”impure” and therefore unworthy of touch, this is most true in the Alv forest where Riveria comes from.

Although Riveria is a High-Elf and comes from a royal family, her actions are very controversial because she accepts Falna from a god, which is greatly hated and looked down upon by Elf, unlike other ordinary humans who worship gods.

In short, Riveria can feel that Aishia is different thanks to the innate instincts of the Elf race even though she has a different mindset from most Elf.

”If my arrival ruins everyone’s mood, then I’ll leave.” Charlie says lightly.

”No need, only Bete is bothered. Look at the others, they’re eager for you to stay.” Gareth laughs heartily.

He can guess their thoughts, especially the men who don’t turn away from Aishia, while the women look at Charlie with sparkling eyes.

There’s no other choice.

The number of beautiful women in Orario is as many as the stars in the night sky, but handsome men are very rare.

”Aiz will be disappointed if you leave just like that. At least, stay here for one night. Monsters are more active at night, you don’t have to worry about being attacked by monsters while you’re here because there will be patrols. Besides, I want to know what kind of man captivated Aiz’s heart.”

”Riveria!”

Hearing that, Aiz, who is usually calm, is now slightly panicked, her hand gently hits Riveria while puffing out her cheeks.

”HAHAHA... As expected from mama. You care so much about Aiz.”

”Who are you calling mama, smelly dwarf! I’m only 99 years old, I’m still very young.”

Setting aside Riveria and Gareth who are arguing, Finn stands in front of Charlie while extending his hand.

”Let’s start with introductions. My name is Finn Deimne, just call me Finn. That dwarf is named Gareth, and that Elf is named Riveria.”

”Charlie Avalon, and this girl is Aishia. Nice to meet you.”

Since the other party is friendly, Charlie also returns the courtesy.

”This isn’t the right place to chat. Let’s go to the tent.”

Finn is an experienced man. Even though he is influenced by Aishia’s beauty, he doesn’t show it on his face.

”Sure.” Charlie nods.

Then they enter the largest tent that can accommodate ten people.
