Journey to Planar World

Charlie and Aishia walked down the street. The street itself was rather simple, only about two or three kilometers long.

The buildings here were no more than shacks made of scraps of wood and large tents. Some were built in the large gaps in the stone walls and tunnel entrances, everywhere was dirty and messy, and looked dilapidated.

Wherever the two of them passed, Aishia would attract the attention of everyone who was captivated by her beauty after seeing her.

’Hopefully, no one is stupid enough to cause trouble.’ Charlie thought.

With Aishia by his side, he felt like the protagonist in a China cultivation novel, trouble would keep coming because the hedonistic young master wanted to snatch the heroine from the protagonist.

Beauty was just a disaster without the strength to protect it.

’Fortunately, the Danmachi world isn’t that barbaric and doesn’t follow the law of the strong preying on the weak. At least, there’s still a set of laws that govern the social order, preventing adventurers from abusing their power to oppress ordinary people.’

Charlie was grateful he hadn’t reincarnated into a cultivation world filled with danger.

”What’s wrong, Aishia?”

Noticing Aishia suddenly stopped, Charlie turned to her.

”That’s like what Charlie bought before.”

Following the direction Aishia pointed to, Charlie saw a stall selling a variety of potions. Curious, he approached the stall and wanted to compare the price difference of potions sold on the 18th Floor of the Dungeon and the surface.

”Boss, how much is a Recovery Potion?”

”One hundred thousand valis.”

Hearing this astronomical price, the corner of Charlie’s eye twitched. Especially since the stall owner sat lazily in a wooden chair, not friendly at all and with a condescending expression.

”So expensive? The price of a Recovery Potion is only thirty thousand valis! You’re taking too much profit.”

”Young man, this is your first time in Rivira, right? Whether it’s hotels, food, weapons, potions, etc., everything has a price that’s two or three times the original price. Besides, bringing things from the surface to Rivira isn’t easy, so raising the price is normal.”

”I see. That makes sense.”

Charlie didn’t feel anything wrong with the approach of the scalpers who took advantage of the opportunity to extort other adventurers. Compared to life, money meant nothing, so whether they liked it or not, adventurers could only buy necessities even though they knew they were losing out.

”Since you’re a newcomer, I can give you a 10% discount with just one condition.”

Grinning widely, the stall owner looked at Aishia with a lecherous gaze.

”Oh, let’s hear it.”

Squinting his eyes, Charlie could already guess where this conversation would end.

”Your woman is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life, even more beautiful than some goddesses. I don’t ask for much, just let me fuck her once, then you will get a 10% discount on buying potions at my stall for life. How? This is a deal that benefits you, right?”

After the stall owner finished his sentence, his sexual drive vanished as if cold water had been splashed on his head. His eyes widened as he realized half his body was trapped in a block of ice.

”Can you repeat that? I might have misheard.”

Although Charlie seemed to be smiling, his eyes were dangerous. It was he who froze the lecherous man in front of him with Ice Spirit Art.

”Dude, I know I’m wrong, I apologize for offending you. Don’t kill me! Murder is forbidden in Rivira! Once an adventurer kills in Rivira, they will be hunted by other adventurers and handed over to the Guild for punishment. It’s not impossible for the Guild to revoke their adventurer license and be banished from Orario.”

The stall owner regretted his impulsive behavior, he hurriedly begged and threatened at the same time.

The fact that the other party was using magic without chanting meant his identity was not simple.

”...”

Charlie didn’t budge, his Ice Spirit Art continued slowly freezing the terrified stall owner.

”AHHH!!! HELP ME SOMEONE! THERE’S A MURDER!”

Seeing the other party not canceling his magic, the stall owner started panicking. Therefore, he shouted loudly for help.

It should be remembered that only adventurers and some supporters filled the streets. They were High-Class Adventurers, their armor and weapons were also the best.

Meanwhile, for Low-Class Adventurers, unless they were carried by High-Class Adventurers, it was almost impossible to reach Rivira Town.

”What happened?! Who dares to kill in Rivira?”

”Look, half of that guy’s body is frozen!”

”Hey, isn’t that John? Who are the two people in front of his stall?”

”Whoa, the woman next to the young man is so beautiful... If only my wife was as beautiful as her...”

A crowd quickly formed around the stall, but instead of saving the stall owner, their main focus was on Aishia, who had unparalleled beauty.

”Oi, DON’T JUST WATCH! HELP ME!”

The stall owner cursed angrily because none of them helped him.

”Charlie, don’t kill him.” Aishia pulled Charlie’s sleeve and said softly.

”But this guy—”

”Killing him will only cause Charlie trouble, right? I don’t want you to be hated by everyone because of me.”

”...”

”Alright.”

Under Aishia’s persuasion, Charlie gave up his intention to kill him.

Although he wasn’t afraid of anyone, it didn’t mean he was invincible, his strength was still in the growth stage. There was no need to be villain just because of a mob character.

”Who dares to commit murder in Rivira!” An angry voice came closer.

The crowd of adventurers stepped aside to make way for the person, this directly showed his authority.

Charlie and Aishia turned to see him.

It was a tall, muscular man with black hair, with an eyepatch covering his left eye. His name was Bors Elder, a Level 3 adventurer and representative of Rivira Town.

In Rivira, he was highly respected and many adventurers listened to his words.

”Bors! Finally, you’re here! Quickly stop this psychopath. Because he couldn’t afford the potion at my stall, this young man tried to rob me! He blatantly violated Rivira’s rules. Look, he almost killed me.”

The stall owner’s eyes lit up with hope as he saw salvation coming, he turned white into black, replaced truth with falsehood, and slandered the other party without hesitation.

If others knew the reason behind this incident, his reputation would be tarnished.

”Brat, release John, then don’t resist and follow me to the office for interrogation.”

Bors frowned because someone dared to cause trouble in his territory. However, when he saw Aishia, he swore that there wasn’t a single woman in the Entertainment District who was as beautiful and charming as the woman in front of him.

The idea of having her for himself arose in his mind.

’As long as the young man isn’t a First-Class Adventurer, I’ll take her away from him!’

For some reason, Bors had evil intentions in his heart. Although he was lecherous, usually he wouldn’t act as extreme as stealing another man’s woman, or maybe there was just no woman so captivating that made him want to take her away.

’Another lecherous man came. Do all men in this world only think with their crotches?’

Of course, Charlie noticed the greed in Bors’ eyes. He hadn’t set foot in Rivira for long, but he got into trouble in a short time.

Could it be because he was in the protagonist’s body?

After all, it was common knowledge that protagonists always attract trouble wherever they go.
