Journey to Planar World

As the center of the world, Orario attracts adventurers, merchants, and tourists from various races and nations. This creates a very high demand for housing and commercial space.

The Tower of Babel is the main attraction of the Labyrinth City of Orario. Thus, the closer to the Tower of Babel, the higher the price of land and building properties.

”We don’t need to sleep in a hotel anymore. Starting today, this is our home.”

”I don’t care where I live as long as I can be with Charlie.”

Aishia looked at the house in front of her, not too impressed. For her, Charlie was everything. Even if she had to sleep under a bridge, as long as Charlie was by her side, she wouldn’t mind.

”Glad to hear that.” Charlie was used to Aishia never disagreeing with him.

’Not bad. With this, I can go to the Dungeon without having to walk far.’

The two-story house had sturdy stone walls on the first floor, while the second floor was made of wood, and the roof was made of brown tiles that gave a traditional Orario feel. Moreover, this house was only a hundred meters from the Tower of Babel!

In his business deal with Chief Guild Royman, Charlie sold ten Space-Time Caches, each of which he sold for 100 million valis. In other words, he made a profit of one billion valis!

Considering he didn’t have a permanent residence, Charlie asked Royman to sell the building property near the Tower of Babel that the Guild owned.

The Guild had been established a thousand years ago, undoubtedly the richest faction. After all, they monopolized the sale of magic stones, which are the source of energy needed by all countries in the world.

The reason the Guild bought ten Space-Time Caches at once was because they would save a lot of money and time in distributing magic stones to countries around the world.

So, Royman complied with Charlie’s request. Of course, the house wasn’t free, but it was sold for 400 million valis! This could be considered a down payment.

”Oh, isn’t this Charlie? Long time no see, you look healthy.”

Just a few steps towards the door, Charlie heard a man call his name. When he turned, he recognized the other party’s identity even though he had only met him once.

”Good night, God Hermes. Is there something?”

Heeding Hera’s warning, Charlie was very cautious of Hermes.

”Nothing, just wanted to say hello. Oh, interesting.”

Hermes narrowed his eyes as he saw Aishia beside Charlie. Like other gods, he immediately knew the girl was a Spirit.

”Hermes-sama, your gaze makes others uncomfortable.”

Beside him, Asfi reprimanded while pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

”Ha Ha Ha... Sorry for my rude behavior, I hope you’re not offended, Charlie.”

Scratching the back of his head, Hermes laughed carelessly. He didn’t ask why Charlie had a Spirit.

”It’s alright. If there’s nothing else, we’ll go in.”

”Aphrodite is very upset because she couldn’t find you for a few days. Go see her, don’t let her do something reckless.”

”Thank you, God Hermes. Tomorrow, I will visit Goddess Aphrodite.”

Hearing Hermes’ words, Charlie remembered that he hadn’t told Aphrodite that he was going on an expedition.

After that, he and Aishia entered the house.

”Let’s go, Asfi.”

With a mysterious smile on his face, Hermes turned to leave.

”Is there something special about that girl, Hermes-sama? You’re paying a lot of attention to her.”

Asfi had known Hermes for quite a while. So seeing her main god in a good mood, she suspected the other party was planning something.

”Hmm... Since Charlie didn’t try to hide the girl’s existence from the public, then the other Gods and Goddesses also know about her. I guess there’s no harm in telling Asfi-chan.” Hermes stroked his chin and pondered for a moment.

”...”

Asfi’s eyebrows furrowed when she heard that. Her curiosity about Aishia grew even stronger.

”That girl is a Spirit.”

After Hermes said that, Asfi reacted as expected.

”It’s been a long time since I saw Asfi-chan show that expression.”

”Hermes-sama is not wrong, is he?”

Ignoring Hermes’ teasing, Asfi still found it hard to believe the news she heard even though her Familia’s main god told her directly.

”This time I’m not tricking you. The girl by Charlie’s side is a Spirit. I might misidentify other people’s races, but not the Spirit race. After all, Spirits are the darlings of the gods and closest to us.”

”So that means—”

”I know what you want to say, Asfi-chan. But it’s still uncertain. With Charlie’s appearance, it’s still unclear who the true Last Hero is. We can’t rule out Zeus’ grandson. Now we can only wait and let time prove it.”

”Hermes-sama seems happy with this situation.”

”Of course! Two young men with the potential to become the Last Hero, this is so exciting!”

Asfi felt that the peaceful days in Orario would soon be over.

As for Hermes, he looked forward to the position of Last Hero between Bell Cranel and Charlie Avalon.

Meanwhile, after checking the contents of the house, Charlie was satisfied with Royman’s arrangement.

Previously, he asked the other party to provide furniture such as beds, eating utensils, and so on. The cost was deducted from the payment for the purchase of the Space-Time Cache.

For this reason, Charlie took Aishia to the Hostess of Fertility instead of directly to their new home. This gave the workers time to transport the furniture to the house.

”Aishia must be so tired that she fell asleep as soon as she saw the bed.”

Reaching out his hand, Charlie gently stroked Aishia’s hair. Seeing her comfortable sleeping expression, he felt peaceful.

”Let’s update my status.”

Taking off his clothes, Charlie took a bottle from inside the Space-Time Cache. Then, he dropped a drop of Hera’s divine blood on his forehead.

With the Chosen Savior Skill, Charlie could update his status without needing his main god to do it personally.

*ZWOOOSH*

At the same time, the Falna on his back reacted and emitted a faint glow. The Sacred Text moved like a wriggling snake and formed new words.

”Hisss... I can feel my power increasing drastically...!!!” Charlie gasped as his body suddenly grew stronger.

The Excelia he gained during the eleven-day expedition was transformed into true power.

This process didn’t last long, the glow on his back dimmed after the status update was complete.

”Huft... Maybe this is the most noticeable sensation compared to updating the previous status.”

Taking a deep breath, Charlie took a blank parchment and attached it to his back.

Without waiting long, he saw the parchment that had copied his updated status.
