Journey to Planar World

The night was dark blue, the moon shone brightly, and countless laughter filled the streets. Workers ending their shifts, adventurers returning safely from the Dungeon as if they were going to end the day, all immersed in wine.

Loud voices came from the bars, followed by thunderous laughter. Along with the orange lights from the open shops.

The night bars were a draw, the bustling streets exuded an atmosphere of excitement everywhere, even making the Demi-Humans happy, the Pallums sang in the street, holding each other’s shoulders, the Dwarf, known for being strong and tough warriors, also laughed and entered this circle.

Women with animal ears and tails wore eye-catching clothes that attracted customers, there were also Amazoness wearing vulgar clothes.

In short, Orario at night was even busier than during the day!

Hostess of Fertility was a famous tavern or pub, a popular place for adventurers in Orario to relax, eat, and drink. Moreover, the beautiful maids of various races were a plus in the eyes of men.

The price of food and drinks at Hostess of Fertility was more expensive than ordinary restaurants. Therefore, no poor adventurers came.

At a table in the corner of the tavern, Charlie and Aishia were eating without paying attention to the noise around them.

”Sigh... It didn’t go as I expected. Although I thought it was a good plan.”

Thanks to The Chosen Savior skill, Charlie couldn’t get drunk no matter how much alcohol he drank. After all, ”drunk” included a poison debuff.

”What is Charlie talking about?” Aishia asked curiously.

”I’m disappointed that I couldn’t lure the remnants of Evilus to appear.”

Charlie didn’t realize one of the maids was trembling at the mention of Evilus.

The maid was a green-haired Elf girl with shoulder-length hair named Ryuu Lion.

Ryuu couldn’t ignore any information related to Evilus. So, she planned to secretly listen to their conversation.

”Evilus? What is that? The name sounds bad.” Aishia asked innocently.

Unaware that someone was eavesdropping, Charlie gave Aishia a brief introduction to Evilus.

”Evilus is a radical Familia group led by a god who claims to be evil, aka an Evil God. Evilus is known for bringing chaos and destruction wherever they go. Especially after the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia were exiled by Loki Familia and Freya Familia after the annihilation of their main squad in the expedition to exterminate the One Eyed Black Dragon.”

”From the Goddess Hera’s narrative, in the era when the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia were still victorious, Evilus were the most numerous and widespread, but they were less cohesive and more like several different evil Familias. With the presence of the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia, which had many First-Class Adventurers, Evilus could only hide when committing crimes and dared not make trouble in public.”

Pausing for a moment, Charlie sipped his wine.

Meanwhile, Ryu, who was also listening, nodded in agreement with the other party’s explanation. After all, when she was still a member of the Astrea Familia, she felt directly the era of the power of the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia.

”Then?” Aishia showed her interest in this topic.

Seeing her interest, Charlie continued to tell her what he knew from Hera.

”After the Loki Familia and Freya Familia took advantage of the weakening of the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia to expel them from Orario, Evilus saw this as an opportunity, and the radical group began to make trouble that threatened the peace of Orario.”

”Because the damage caused by Evilus in Orario was too severe, then the Guild together with various Familias, such as the Loki Familia, fought against Evilus. In the end, the combined coalition of the Guild and Familias won, and most of the Evilus were killed or hid and dared not appear again.”

”I am a member of the Hera Familia and alone. If Evilus hears this news, it is impossible for them to ignore me. After all, the Hera Familia in the past made them obedient like dogs that can only bark, it is impossible for them to leave me without doing anything.”

”Unfortunately, they are very cautious. Even after we reached the Middle Floor, they didn’t show themselves. Previously, Goddess Hera had warned me that there was a possibility that I would become a target of Evilus.”

Charlie really wanted to slaughter one or two Evilus. He was no longer a defender of justice like in his previous life, but that didn’t change his disgust for deviant criminals.

He didn’t believe Evilus had been completely eradicated in Orario, there must be remnants of Evilus.

’If I can’t find Evilus in Orario, I can only look outside Orario.’

The notion of slaughtering Evilus was still embedded in Charlie’s mind.

Evilis was technically still strong even though its base in Orario was weakened.

It should be remembered that Orario was only one city in a very large world. The Guild and the combined Familias led by the Loki Familia may have killed Evilus in Orario. However, they are a global force and spread throughout the world.

Although Orario is the center of the world, not all gods gather here, including Evil Gods. For example, there is Ameterasu who lives in the Far East to enjoy the society there that worships her, and Ares established his Familia in the Rakia Kingdom and became a general to satisfy his desire for war.

Charlie heard from Hera that Evilus was doing well in the Kaios Desert where they helped trigger the war there.

Knowing all the evil and brutal deeds of Evilus, Charlie did not have a good impression of them.

”Why would anyone want to join Evilus? I don’t understand.” Aishia looked at Charlie with her beautiful eyes, waiting for his answer.

”...”

Ryuu’s long Elf ears twitched, she was also very curious. She had asked the same thing to Evilus, but the other party laughed psychopathically and refused to tell her.

”Despair and greed. The Death God Thanatos convinces many people that they will have eternal heaven with their loved ones after they die. That’s how they recruit grieving and desperate people into their ranks. After all, Orario has a very high death rate due to faction fighting and the Dungeon, there are many people with friends, lovers, and families who have died.”

”The God Thanatos finds people in sorrow and manipulates them with false promises and false words to do unspeakable things. The others are the same, a bunch of chaotic idiots who enjoy causing suffering that is lurking by the gods or people who are emotionally, physically, or mentally manipulated to join.”

Perhaps because Charlie was the only man in her Familia, Hera told him many secrets that many people didn’t know. Therefore, Charlie knew a lot of important information even though he only watched the first season of the Danmachi anime.

’If it was me before, I’m sure I wouldn’t have refused Thanatos’ offer.’

If it wasn’t Hera who first found him, but Thanatos, Charlie would have agreed to become Evilus without hesitation.

Reunion in eternal heaven with loved ones is truly a tempting and irresistible offer!

’It turns out that’s it. Now everything makes sense. No wonder there are so many people who join Evilus even though they know it’s a radical group.’

After knowing all this, Ryuu felt complicated in her heart. Now she has lost her friends, so she knows the feeling of loss and wants to meet them again.

”Let’s go home to our new home.”

After finishing their meal, Charlie paid the bill, then left Hostess of Fertility with Aishia.
