1050 Chapter 1050 495: Kubfu’s Two Teachers 2026-11-03

Fury Falls, within the Bamboo Forest.

Looking at the group of Pokémon before him, Naoki took out the pre-prepared Pokeblock and Poffin from his backpack.

”Thank you so much for your help. Here, these Poffin are gifts I prepared for you as a token of appreciation, please accept them!”

”Ohwoo!”

Passimian let out an excited cry, it stepped forward to receive the gift, full of excitement on its face.

Amoonguss also jumped forward and took the box of Pokeblock from Naoki’s hand.

The rest of the Pokémon stepped forward in turn to take their share of the gifts.

Jigglypuff, Gastly, Swablu, Hoppip, Vivillon...

Soon, only one Kubfu was left among the Pokémon.

Kubfu glanced at the other Pokémon, then looked up towards Naoki in front of it.

A serious expression appeared on its small face.

”Beah!”

Naoki had other plans in mind for this Kubfu.

He crouched down, aligning his gaze to Kubfu’s height, and then asked:

”Kubfu, do you want to come with us?”

”Beah!”

Kubfu nodded its head. After spending several hours together, it felt this human and it were quite a match in temperament.

Seeing Kubfu also liking him, Naoki was quite pleasantly surprised in his heart.

Yet at that moment, Kubfu looked at him with a very serious expression.

”Beah!”

Naoki was slightly stunned: ”You want to battle with me?”

Kubfu seriously nodded its head.

Seeing this, Naoki immediately understood.

Indeed, this matches the tone of the Pokemon World!

Especially for a Pokémon like Kubfu with such a temperament.

He had to personally defeat Kubfu to prove he had the strength to become its Trainer, only then could he gain Kubfu’s approval.

Looking at the serious Kubfu, Naoki suddenly thought of something interesting and pretended to worry:

”What if I lose?”

Hearing this, even Kubfu was a bit stupefied.

It stood there dumbfounded for two seconds, showing a troubled expression.

”Be... Beah!”

Kubfu looked towards Koraidon, as if implying that Pokémon was strong, suggesting Naoki could use that Pokémon to battle against it.

Naoki couldn’t help but laugh: ”Alright, I was teasing you. Since you want to battle me, I should give it my all.”

Kubfu suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.

”Cyclizar, I’m entrusting this battle to you!” Naoki called out.

Deploying Koraidon against Kubfu wouldn’t be fair, so it’s just right for Cyclizar to step in and test the results of its training.

As Naoki had expected.

Cyclizar, standing behind, showed a surprised expression upon hearing Naoki call its name, but followed by a cry of excitement.

”Gahwoo!”

Cyclizar vs Kubfu!

Without much more words, once the two Pokémon were ready, the battle officially commenced.

Kubfu’s eyes were firm, tightly clutching its right fist, and it commenced with Rock Smash charging towards Cyclizar.

”Draco Meteor!” Naoki calmly commanded.

Cyclizar watched the approaching Kubfu, and a powerful burst of Dragon Type Energy erupted from its body.

That purple energy soared into the sky, gathering into meteors blazing with tail flames, crashing down!

The massive meteor halted Kubfu’s advance.

The composed Bear-type Pokémon decisively shattered the meteor with a punch, yet in the next second, it was struck by another meteor.

The tremendous impact sent Kubfu flying, but it quickly stood back up, dodging Draco Meteor while swiftly maneuvering within it.

Just as it was about to exit the meteor’s coverage, Kubfu suddenly leapt high, transforming its right hand into a chopping blade, slicing straight toward Cyclizar.

The next second, an astonishing scene occurred for Kubfu.

The Cyclizar below accelerated, dodging its attack!

”Beah?!” Such speed!

”Shift Change!” Naoki’s voice rang out.

The air sac on Cyclizar’s front was instantly enveloped in a glow, rotating rapidly like a spinning tire.

Landed, Kubfu swiftly turned to launch a kick attack toward Cyclizar.

Cyclizar quickly crossed its arms in front to block it.

Kubfu seized the moment, completely abandoning defense, advancing into Cyclizar’s space, and unleashed a rapid attack with its fists.

That was... Close Combat!

”Pa-pa-pa-pa!”

A barrage of fists rained down on Cyclizar, forcing it to retreat continuously.

”This Kubfu’s strength is truly extraordinary!” Naoki couldn’t help but murmur inwardly.

Not yet evolved into Urshifu, but already refining its boxing to this extent, showing a semblance of a Grandmaster.

”Shift Change again!” Naoki continued.

With the command, the tire-like air sac on Cyclizar’s chest spun even faster instantaneously.

It swung its claws, unleashing a massive Dragon Claw to repel Kubfu.

Kubfu’s figure staggered.

Seeing Kubfu exposing a flaw, Naoki seized the moment and decisively gave the command:

”Now! Use Dragon Rush!”

The second Shift Change brought Cyclizar’s speed to an extremely exaggerated level.

While releasing an intense and terrifying aura, it leapt up, rushing down towards Kubfu.
