Not Being a Trainer This Time

That’s precisely why, in the movie, even when missing a few Plates, Arceus can still easily defeat its three little subordinates, almost killing them.

If Dialga hadn’t used the Power of Time to send Ash back in time at the crucial moment, they probably would have been wiped out.

Speaking of the Pokemon on the ranch, there’s Pawmo and Zapdos for Electric Type.

For Grass Type, there’s Gogoat and Calyrex.

For Water Type Pokemon... we can temporarily borrow Kyogre.

As a Trainer, he can also use a Tera Orb to perform Terastal on Calyrex, enhancing its Grass Type Moves.

But Naoki always feels that this still isn’t enough.

Besides the Pokemon’s inherent strength, perhaps he can also boost their power through external means.

Like Mega Evolution, Z-moves, Dynamax, and Terastalization.

Let’s not talk about Dynamax for now, because that thing can only be used in the Galar Region.

None of the Pokemon on the ranch can Mega Evolve either.

So he’ll have to focus on the Z-moves in the Alola Region.

Coincidentally, Naoki plans to buy a villa ranch in the Alola Region so he can take his family’s Pokemon there for a holiday during the cold winter months.

No sooner said than done, Naoki immediately takes out his computer and logs onto the Hau’oli Real Estate Company’s website.

Soon enough, someone from the real estate company calls to inquire about his needs.

”Hello sir, this is Hau’oli Real Estate Company from the Alola Region. Are you looking to move and settle in the Alola Region?”

”I want to buy a villa there, preferably with a large open space where Pokemon can play.”

”Alright, I’ll help you find a suitable home, and will contact you immediately once there’s one that fits.”

The call ends, and all that’s left is for him to wait patiently.

It’s already November 20th today, and New Year is next month, so even if Naoki buys the place, he won’t be able to move immediately.

”Looks like I’ll have to wait until next year. ”

Just then, a message pops up in the Legendary Beast chat group.

Naoki opens it to find that Giratina has posted a video.

The video content is of Calyrex just now trouncing Groudon and Kyogre.

Naoki: ”...”

Giratina seems to never get enough of watching the drama.

[Giratina: Why do you two have to fight every day? Last time was the same, and this time as well. Naoki says you’ve fought many times, haven’t you determined who’s stronger? I really want to know which one of you is more powerful @Groudon@Kyogre.]

Perhaps out of boredom and unable to fight, after returning to their nests, Groudon and Kyogre start fiddling with the Rotom Phone.

Once the Rotom reads out Giratina’s question aloud, the competitive spirit in the two Super Ancient Pokemon flares up.

They immediately instruct Rotom to reply to the Pokemon called Giratina.

[Kyogre: Of course I’m stronger!]

[Groudon: I see, you don’t take me seriously. If you weren’t always interrupted by those people, you’d have lost already.]

[Kyogre: Hmph, it’s not certain who would lose. I think it should be you, overestimating yourself.]

Groudon is infuriated.

[Groudon: What? Want to try?]

Kyogre is not one to back down either.

[Kyogre: Bring it on! Who’s afraid?]

But as soon as they replied, they remembered their promise to Naoki.

Both Pokemon fall silent.

After a long pause, Kyogre, getting anxious, starts trash-talking Groudon in the group.

[Kyogre: Some Pokemon can’t even fly, huh. The other day, who was the fool standing in the sea looking up at the sky anxiously?]

Groudon: !!!

The magma below churns up from Groudon’s anger.

It roars, asking Rotom to retort on its behalf.

[Groudon: You’re the fool!]

Yet in the face of facts, its response seems weak and powerless.

[Kyogre: Suddenly speechless, aren’t you?]

At that moment, Groudon just wants to punch out Kyogre, but because of its promise, it can’t, so it can only jump up and down angrily, causing the ground to shake.

Then, Giratina, ever the instigator, comes up with a nifty idea.

With the notion of turning red first to drive the others, it suggests a clever plan to the bickering Pokemon.

[Giratina: Enough with the arguing. I have an idea! You two can be like me and Calyrex and register for a Pokemon Forum account to see who gets more followers!]
