Not Being a Trainer This Time

Yet, halfway along the way, it suddenly saw Koraidon speeding past, snatching the ball right in front of it!

”Gao!”

Cyclizar was shocked, turned its head, and complained to Naoki about Koraidon’s behavior.

Naoki felt a headache: ”Koraidon!”

Koraidon immediately dropped the ball, turned around in a panic, and ran away.

Naoki: ”...”

Lono chuckled beside him: ”Is this how you usually get along with Koraidon and the others?”

”Yes!” Naoki nodded with a smile: ”With them around, it feels like I’ll never be bored!”

Saying this, Naoki threw the ball that Cyclizar had snatched back.

Cyclizar excitedly chased after it.

Lono’s Luxray and Electrode watched, full of envy.

They ran to Lono, expressing their desire to play too.

Lono was quite troubled, as she hadn’t brought any Pokemon toys this time!

Naoki noticed this and smiled as he retrieved some pre-prepared toy flying discs from his bag, saying: ”Use mine!”

Luxray and Electrode turned their heads to look at this human.

Naoki grinned at them.

His Pokemon affinity was maxed, and he quickly gained the trust of Luxray and Electrode.

Then, the two of them started playing the flying disc game with a group of Pokemon.

Ogerpon and Gholdengo weren’t interested in catching flying discs; they held hands curiously exploring the stalls, with the masked Ogerpon playing the role of the human, and Gholdengo as its Pokemon.

In this way, the two Pokemon perfectly mixed into the crowd, experiencing the feeling of strolling through the market.

In the dim corner, Flutter Mane floated silently in mid-air, observing these humans.

Suddenly, Lono’s Mismagius floated over curiously, asking Flutter Mane what it was doing.

Flutter Mane murmured: ”Dream!” (It’s so beautiful!)

Mismagius turned its head and saw the brightly lit bustling market, the dark blue night sky overhead, a cool sea breeze sweeping in, waves gently hitting the beach, leaving layers of white foam.

It’s truly beautiful!

Thus, Mismagius and Flutter Mane appreciated this splendid scenery together.

The Indeedee Sibling happily sat next to Naoki, spread out a picnic blanket on the beach, then placed a picnic basket filled with snacks on it, ready to wait for the Pokemon to come eat when they were tired.

Meanwhile, Pawmot ran back and forth with its good friend Slugma on the beach, gazing at the round moon overhead.

After playing with the Pokemon for a while, Naoki felt a bit tired and sat on the beach to rest.

Lono, too, breathlessly pushed away Luxray’s big face that came over and sat on the beach to rest.

Neither of them spoke.

Looking at the round moon overhead and the lively crowd, Naoki suddenly felt this moment was wonderful.

He couldn’t help but recall the words of his sister Indeedee not long ago.

It said it sensed affection for him from Lono.

Thinking of this, Naoki turned his head to look at the girl beside him.

Unexpectedly, Lono was also looking at him, and their gazes met in the night.

An inexplicable atmosphere began to flow slowly in the air.

”Today’s moon is really beautiful!” Lono awkwardly turned her head to the sky, feeling her face getting a bit warm.

Naoki followed her gaze, indeed seeing a round bright moon, he exhaled slowly, sensing the atmosphere was a bit off, and changed the subject:

”By the way, I’ve always had a question to ask you.”

”Hmm? What question?” Lono tilted her head.

Naoki sincerely asked: ”Levincia City and Porto Marinada Town are so far apart, don’t you find it troublesome to frequently come from there?”

”...”

”...”

At this moment, Lono suddenly felt a bit complicated inside.

She looked at Naoki in front of her, an expression of resignation on her face, with a tone somewhat helpless, as if she had made some kind of decision: ”Naoki, you’re such an idiot!”

Naoki was slightly stunned.

Lono blushed and continued: ”Of course, I’m here because of you!”

Upon hearing this, Naoki was instantly dumbfounded.

At this moment, accompanied by the cheers of the surrounding crowd, Mayor Thomas’s prepared fireworks were all ignited.

The next second, dazzling fireworks rose into the night sky, turning into brilliant flowers blooming behind Lono.

In that radiant glow, Naoki saw his own reflected image in Lono’s clear eyes.

Suddenly, it seemed like all the sounds around disappeared.

”Thump! Thump! Thump!”

Amidst the fireworks, Naoki heard the sound of his own heartbeat.

Lono turned her head, looking at the fireworks in the night sky, then said softly:

”I like you!”

Her voice was extremely light, as if casually stating a matter of routine.

”Boom!”

A huge firework shot up to the sky.

The next second, a golden Pikachu head appeared in the night sky.
