Not Being a Trainer This Time

Raifort had a point.

After her explanation, Naoki immediately understood the situation with Ting-Lu.

Now, should he still feed Ting-Lu with the Reversing series cuisine?

According to his research so far, there are three types of Reversing cuisines.

They are the [Heart] cuisine that reverses personality, the [Body] cuisine that reverses constitution, and the [Techniques] cuisine that reverses abilities, authority, and aura.

Ting-Lu has absorbed too many desires and curses, these human emotions have transformed into its power.

Its characteristic [Vessel of Ruin] and exclusive move [Calamitous Ruin] are proof of this.

In such a situation, if these abilities and emotions can be reversed, perhaps Ting-Lu can transform into an Auspicious Pokemon.

You just need to feed it [Reversing Cuisine·Techniques].

And the Reversed World is next door, Naoki decided to give it a try and see the effects after reversing.

To prepare for the three Ruinous Pokemon that follow.

The call wasn’t disconnected yet.

Raifort looked at Ting-Lu on the opposite screen with a complicated mood.

Indeed, is the Treasure of Ruin something people like her can’t truly possess?

Raifort originally wanted to investigate the Treasures of Ruin in person and claim them for herself.

But now it seems that such a thing is beyond her power.

Because both ancient records and passed-down legends indicate, only a person with a pure heart can lift the shrine’s seal.

Raifort remembered the content clearly.

At the end of the ancient text, it described:

The Treasures of Ruin will shine again because of the pure heart of the one who lifts the seal.

So be it!

Raifort sighed inwardly, now she felt very satisfied to just see these precious existences with her own eyes.

Thinking of this, Raifort smiled softly: ”The treasures I’ve dreamed of, you can keep them for now! And the next three, I’ll entrust them to you too!”

”Of course.”

”Then let’s leave it here for now! I have to go teach history. When you’ve collected all four Treasures of Ruin, remember to bring them by to show me!”

”Don’t worry!” Naoki had already promised Raifort this, so he naturally wouldn’t go back on his word.

Only then did Raifort hang up the phone satisfactorily.

Naoki headed to the Reversed World and asked Giratina for a bucket of water from there.

After some operations, he successfully crafted cuisine that could reverse Pokemon’s authority and power.

[Reversed Red Tea·Techniques (s): A Legendary Cuisine made with water from the Reversed World, infused with the power of the Reversed World, possessing the ability to change the nature of substances.

Cooking Effect: Reversing the Universe, reversing a Pokemon’s abilities, authority, and aura, effective only on Legendary Pokemon.

Evaluation: A magical cuisine, a Giratina product, guaranteed to be exquisite!]

Naoki brought the cup of red tea to Ting-Lu.

”Ting-Lu, you can understand what I’m saying, right?”

Ting-Lu exhaled two jets of white air from its nostrils, looking solemnly and reverently at the human in front of it, not answering.

Just by looking into the eyes of this Pokemon, Naoki knew it could understand him.

But why wasn’t Ting-Lu responding?

After a brief silence, Naoki continued to ask:

”This is the cuisine I made. It can change your essence, erase the evil thoughts and desires you’ve absorbed from humans, and return you to your original form. Want to give it a try?”

Hearing these words, Ting-Lu indeed set its gaze on the bowl of red tea.

After a while, Ting-Lu lifted its head again to look at the human in front of it.

How many years has it been?

In the distant past, Ting-Lu had turned into a giant cauldron and fell into slumber.

Never expecting to be taken as a treasure by humans, wandering from place to place, during which it was forced to absorb vast amounts of desires and curses.

Those evil thoughts caused its body and spirit to be influenced, corroded by malice, losing reason, and performing actions that went against its instincts, eventually leading to it being imprisoned by humans.

Even now, it retains a significant amount of cursed power.

Now being awakened again, initially, Ting-Lu thought this human would treat it like a treasure like the humans of the past.

But after observing for a while, it discovered that the human seemed to treat it as just a normal Pokemon?

No greed, no evil thoughts, nor any desire to possess it.

Such a person still exists in this world!

Ting-Lu was incredibly shocked.

Naoki, who has already raised a bunch of Legendary Pokemon on the World Tree, is unaware of Ting-Lu’s thoughts.

He had noticed that this Pokemon was contemplating, so he didn’t speak and waited patiently for its response.

After a long time, the Ting-Lu in front of him finally spoke.

It opened its mouth and let out a peculiar growl: ”Moo-moo?”

Naoki was slightly taken aback.

Then, through the Power of Viridian, he understood Ting-Lu’s thoughts.

Ting-Lu: ”You say it can help this old one remove those curses and evil thoughts, is that true?”

”Of course it’s true.” Naoki nodded, a bit surprised by how Ting-Lu’s words had such a classical tone.

But then he thought of it; these Ruinous Pokemon came from the distant Eastern Lands, so it made sense.

”Would you like to give it a try?” Naoki asked sincerely: ”It can reverse the greed and malice, transforming them into the Power of Auspicious, and they’ll never affect your body again.”
