Not Being a Trainer This Time

A drop of cold sweat ran down the foreheads of Groudon and Kyogre.

Even though they had returned to their peak state through Primal Reversion, facing so many Legendary Pokemon, even teaming up couldn’t guarantee victory.

Moreover, their nemesis Rayquaza was also among them.

Of course, the most serious matter was being expelled from this World Tree.

Kyogre didn’t want to leave, nor did Groudon...

At this moment, a hint of retreat began to form in the hearts of these two Super Ancient Pokemon.

They exchanged a glance through the air, surprisingly sensing a rare harmony in each other’s eyes.

Unfortunately, Naoki had no intention of letting these two go.

Luckily, he discovered them early enough. What if one day they started fighting without him noticing and wrecked the World Tree he painstakingly grew?

Naoki’s gaze fell on Groudon and Kyogre below.

Under normal circumstances, the simplest way to make a Pokemon obey was clear.

That was to conquer them through brute force, proving to that Pokemon that your strength could overpower them.

Thus, they would acknowledge the power of that Pokemon.

With this in mind, Naoki already had a plan.

He did not ask for Rayquaza, Ho-oh, and Mewtwo’s Helping Hand but instead turned his gaze to Calyrex.

Calyrex immediately understood Naoki’s intention.

It nodded slightly, then said softly, ”It’s been a long time since I last battled anyone. In that case, I’ll just get some exercise!”

Having said that, Calyrex, riding Spectrier, stepped on the void and arrived in front of Groudon and Kyogre.

Groudon and Kyogre instantly became tense.

Because they felt an unfathomable terrifying aura emanating from this seemingly inconspicuous Pokemon!

Naoki, riding Koraidon, floated up to position himself behind Calyrex, watching these two Super Ancient Pokemon.

”Let’s have a battle! Calyrex will duel you both, and you can strike simultaneously. If you win, I’ll overlook today’s matter, but if you lose, you must follow my command from now on and absolutely no more fighting.”

Sometimes Naoki even thought of tying Kyogre and Groudon together with a rope, using physical contact to foster closeness.

But now, the most direct method was to conquer them with strength.

Upon hearing Naoki’s words, Groudon and Kyogre instantly displayed expressions of disbelief.

One versus two? Is he underestimating them?

Both Super Ancient Pokemon felt their pride was trampled, showcasing expressions of defiance.

”Roar...”

Primal Groudon let out a low growl.

Meanwhile, Kyogre cast a deep gaze at the opposing Calyrex.

Ho-oh, Rayquaza, Giratina, and Mewtwo floated in the rear, watching the spectacle with interest.

Mewtwo maintained a calm demeanor.

In its understanding, these were considered ”gods” dwelling in this world, ranked among the strongest in Pokemon.

It too was created by humans as the strongest Pokemon.

Between it and these Pokemon, who had the greater strength?

Ho-oh flapped its wings, hovering in mid-air. It could see that those two Pokemon had absorbed a tremendous amount of Natural Energy, transforming into their current state.

Even it couldn’t guarantee beating either one, yet Naoki and Calyrex could take them both on?

In terms of battling two at once, Rayquaza was the most skilled.

Yet, it focused more on the transformations of Groudon and Kyogre than the battle.

Envy arose in Rayquaza’s eyes.

Those two had reverted to their original forms, whereas Rayquaza could not transform into a stronger form due to insufficient energy.

Natural Energy differed from Mega Evolution Energy; to perform Mega Evolution, Rayquaza needed to venture into the depths of Cosmos and consume more Meteorites.

Meanwhile, Giratina took out a Rotom Phone, eager to record the battle out of sheer nosiness.

”Then, let’s begin!” Naoki commanded, ”Calyrex, use Nasty Plot!”

Groudon, positioned within the sea, was instantly flooded with scorching Earth Vein Energy.

The energy surged into the land, transforming into Precipice Blades that stabbed at Calyrex from the ocean.

Simultaneously, Kyogre launched its attack.

Opening its massive maw, it swiftly condensed an Ice Beam at Calyrex.

Despite facing these two potent Moves, Calyrex remained unflustered.

Once Nasty Plot concluded, the Spectrier beneath it neighed and vanished into the void.

Precipice Blades and Ice Beam struck only air, causing an explosion that scared away a few spectating Dragonite.

Seeing the vanished Calyrex, Groudon and Kyogre became instantly cautious.

Yet the next moment, as Naoki’s voice rang out, Calyrex’s figure quietly reappeared from the void.

”Solar Beam, aim at Kyogre!”

At Calyrex’s level, using Solar Beam no longer required energy gathering beforehand.

In the instant of its appearance, a beam comprising Grass Energy swiftly engulfed Kyogre.

The immense impact elicited a wail from Kyogre as its gigantic form plunged into the ocean.
