Not Being a Trainer This Time

Compared to other regions, the Alola Region is a very special one.

There hasn’t been a Pokémon League established there yet, but it is protected by four Pokémon known as the Island Guardians.

These four Pokémon are the Legendary Pokémon of the Alola Region, the Tapu family.

And on Akala Island, there is also an Island Guardian, which is Tapu Lele.

If Naoki remembers correctly, Kiawe’s home is also in that place.

Compared to the other main islands, Akala Island really is a good place to open a ranch.

Volcanic ash that once floated out from the volcano fell to the ground, becoming nutrients for the soil, making that land particularly fertile.

Thinking of this, Naoki made a decision in his heart.

He said to the property company staff on the other end of the phone: ”Can I take a look at the house first?”

”Of course you can, are you in the Alola Region? I can come to pick you up and go together to Akala Island for an inspection.”

Naoki initially wanted to say no, but he thought again, if he could take a shortcut through Giratina’s Reversed World, it would only take two to three hours to reach Alola.

Coincidentally, it’s snowing heavily in the Paldea Region, with nothing to do, so he decided to take this opportunity to visit the Alola Region and check out the house.

”I have some matters to handle at the moment, probably in two hours I can reach Hau’oli City.” Naoki said.

”No problem, I’ll be waiting for you here.”

After the communication ended, they added each other as friends, and the other quickly sent a location share.

Naoki clicked to take a glance, then told his sister Indeedee, and prepared to ride Koraidon to visit the Alola Region.

”You all play at home, I’m going out for a bit and will be back soon, and Greavard, remember to eat well at home.”

Saying that, Naoki reached out and patted Greavard’s head.

”Woof!”

Greavard barked, wagging its tail happily, seeing Naoki off, standing in the snow, watching them go far away.

Even when Naoki’s figure was completely out of sight, Greavard was still wagging its tail and looking in the direction.

Pawmot and Cyclizar were also looking that way.

Suddenly, a cold gust carrying snowflakes swept in.

Cyclizar shivered instantly.

Sister Indeedee stepped forward, gently saying to them: ”Ai yi.” (Come inside first.)

Only then did the Pokémon return to the house.

Without Naoki at home, Cyclizar and others felt extremely bored.

The Eevees had gone off to play on the World Tree, and Alcremie went to the Salt House to play with Garganacl.

Now only the Indeedee siblings, Greavard, Pawmo, Cyclizar, Flutter Mane, Dragonite, and Dratini were left at home.

At this time, Pawmo suddenly thought of a way that wasn’t so boring.

It excitedly looked at everyone, saying: ”Bamor!” (Let’s play hide and seek!)

Meanwhile, Naoki and Koraidon were speeding along in the Reversed World.

After nearly two hours of flying, they finally arrived in the Alola Region.

Standing on the bustling street, looking around, people and Pokémon from various regions crowded everywhere.

According to the map app, this was Hau’oli City on Melemele Island.

As the most popular tourist city in the Pokémon World, further buoyed by the season, the liveliness of Hau’oli City truly topped the charts.

Seeing so many people, Naoki felt overwhelmed.

He definitely didn’t want to be swept away by the crowd, quickly heading aside with Koraidon, taking out his phone for navigation.

Fortunately, the property company in Hau’oli City wasn’t too far from here; crossing a few streets, one human and one Pokémon stood before the company’s door.

Naoki went upstairs, expressing his purpose, and soon a man dressed in a business suit came over.

”Are you Mr. Naoki?”

”It’s me.” Naoki nodded slightly.

”Welcome to the Alola Region, please wait a moment, and I’ll take you to visit that ranch on Akala Island.”

The man turned, assigning his work to a colleague, then returned to Naoki, saying:

”Alright, let’s go! By the way, what mode of transport do you prefer to reach Akala Island? Take a yacht to enjoy the beautiful tropical ocean scenery, or directly take a flying Pokémon taxi?”

”Let’s fly directly!” Naoki thought for a moment, saying, ”My Pokémon can fly directly.”

Hearing this, the man looked curiously at Koraidon by his side, ”That’s a very strong Pokémon! Since that’s the case, let’s head over directly!”

With that, the man also took out a Poke Ball.

Along with a flash of white light, a Charizard appeared before Naoki.

The man mounted Charizard, while Naoki mounted Koraidon, heading together toward Akala Island.

Gradually, the earth beneath became farther away, Hau’oli City was left behind, below was a shimmering blue ocean, above was a clear blue sky, several chirping Wingulls flapping their wings as they flew.

The cool sea breeze gently blew, it must be said, the climate in the Alola Region is incredibly pleasant.

”You’re not from Alola, right?” the man chatted.

”No, I’m from the Paldea Region.” Naoki nodded.

”No wonder, I’ve heard that agricultural products from the Paldea Region are very popular! Every month, special cargo ships bring loads of agricultural products to Alola.” the man said with a smile, seemingly very fond of Paldea’s agricultural products.
