Not Being a Trainer This Time

Seeing Groudon, that big lummox, dazing off there, Naoki shook his head helplessly and continued:

”Then I’ll keep it short. I know why you’re here; you’ve been attracted by the natural energy of this tree. I can let you stay here, but you have to agree to a few conditions.”

”What conditions?” Groudon’s rough, deep voice finally echoed in Naoki’s mind.

Naoki: ”First, you must not harm the other Pokemon on the World Tree. Second, you must not fight with Kyogre here. Kyogre has already agreed that as long as you don’t provoke it, it won’t provoke you either.”

”If you violate either of these two points, then Rayquaza and Mewtwo will drive you out of the World Tree.”

Compared to Kyogre, expelling Groudon is much simpler.

As long as Mewtwo uses Teleport to throw it off, with its own strength, it won’t be able to climb back up.

Indeed, there are benefits to not being able to fly...

Hearing this, Groudon fell silent.

Compared to territory, strength is more important. As long as it works hard to absorb natural energy and becomes stronger, Kyogre will no longer dare to compete with it for territory.

With this thought in mind, Groudon decisively agreed.

”Alright!”

Naoki nodded and said, ”Then there’s no problem.”

This time, he personally led Groudon to the third layer, below the Sea Domain where Kyogre resides.

This is an unused space, currently without any Pokemon living there.

Because of this, Naoki intends to have Groudon transform it into an area suitable for Rock, Ground, and Fire Type Pokemon to live in.

He told this plan to Groudon.

Groudon had no objections; it was planning to create a lava pool for sleep anyway.

Therefore, Groudon directly left Naoki behind and started working enthusiastically.

First, using Earth energy to create a small volcano, then filling it with magma from its body.

In the blink of an eye, a lava pool was born.

After doing this, Groudon didn’t stop to rest.

Standing on the volcano, its entire body surging with Earth Vein energy.

In an instant, a rumbling sound echoed through the space.

The ground began to tremble, rocks started to move.

Soon, a hot valley region was formed.

Centering around the volcano where Groudon stands, the air temperature gradually decreases with distance, and at the outer ring, it has already become normal.

There, Groudon created valleys, caves, and jagged rocks, perfectly suitable for Pokemon like Onix and Tyranitar with Ground and Rock Types to live in.

And around the volcano, even steaming fountains appeared.

That hot area is suitable for Fire Type Pokemon like Charizard and Vulpix to live in.

With this, the construction of this layer is complete!

Naoki also gathered a group of Water Type Pokemon to use Rain Dance in the dry valley on the outskirts.

Drizzling rain gradually gathered into a winding stream.

Then, Naoki bought Berry Seedlings and planted several Berry Gardens by the river, asking Calyrex to help ripen them.

In the blink of an eye, the branches were laden with heavy Berries, the air filled with the joy of harvest.

Of course, these aren’t for Groudon but for the Pokemon that will settle here in the future.

Groudon stood on the far volcano, watching Naoki busying himself.

Groudon was quite surprised by the human’s actions.

Was planting those fruit trees for it to eat?

After all, besides it, there are no other Pokemon here.

But as the Earth God, it doesn’t need to eat, surviving by absorbing natural energy.

At this point, Groudon saw the human leaving with the group of Water Type Pokemon.

Groudon was prepared to return to the lava for a good rest.

The previous great battle had exhausted a lot of its energy, plus traveling such a long distance, it was now completely drained, needing a period of sleep to recover.

With this thought in mind, Groudon turned and headed into the volcano.

However, it wasn’t long before it saw the human returning.

This time, the human held a strange machine in hand.

”This is a Rotom Phone, Rayquaza, and Kyogre both have one, and this one will be yours from now on!”

Naoki carefully explained the functions of the Rotom Phone to Groudon.

Upon hearing that Rayquaza and Kyogre both have one, Groudon immediately perked up, its competitive spirit not allowing it to fall behind.

It had to have one too!

”...Alright, as it stands now. If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can ask the Rotom inside the phone, but be careful not to drop it into magma,” Naoki said.

Seeing that Groudon seemed to have accepted the existence of the Rotom Phone, Naoki took out his own phone and added it to the group chat.

Now, the chat group already had six Legendary Pokemon, and with Groudon, there were seven.

The next second, the upper-layer Kyogre, Rayquaza on the treetop, Ho-oh perched on a branch, Giratina in the shadow of the tree, Mewtwo by the farmland, and Calyrex all received a notification.
