Fertile soil leads to the growth of abundant resources, thus nurturing more wild Pokemon.

But there is still one issue.

What should he do to awaken Jirachi from its slumber?

Reverse-series cuisine?

That might just turn Jirachi’s Serene Grace into Doom Desire...

Let’s think from a different perspective.

It’s well known that Jirachi can absorb energy from meteors to nurture the Forina Land.

And as Naoki knows, the Natural Energy from the World Tree can achieve the same effect.

So the question is, if Jirachi absorbs enough Natural Energy, can it avoid falling asleep?

As Naoki pondered, an unfamiliar Pokemon suddenly appeared in front of the Heroic Expedition Team.

It was a four-legged Pokemon with white fur, red eyes, and a head with a horn resembling a bow.

The Absol gazed calmly at the few Pokemon that intruded here.

Teddiursa and Mew noticed it too.

Naoki introduced them, ”That’s Absol.”

A human voice?

Absol’s eyes instantly turned to the Rotom Phone floating in mid-air.

Mew looked at Absol and asked, ”miu?” (Hello, Absol, do you know Jirachi?)

Upon hearing the name Jirachi, Absol’s gaze immediately became wary.

It looked at the human and then at the three unfamiliar Pokemon.

”Woooo?” (What do you want?)

Teddiursa keenly noticed the change in Absol’s tone.

It quickly realized that this Pokemon seemed to have misunderstood something, so it hurriedly explained:

”Eemo eemo!” (We are the Heroic Expedition Team, not bad Pokemon! We want to find Jirachi because we want to help it wake up more often than just once every thousand years!)

Hearing this, Absol fell silent.

As Jirachi’s Guardian, it naturally understood Jirachi’s situation.

But...

Thinking of this, Absol looked at the three Pokemon in front of it and said, ”Woooo.” (Jirachi has already disappeared.)

Disappeared?

Hearing this, the three Pokemon from the Heroic Expedition Team were slightly taken aback.

Absol then turned around and led them to a cave.

”Woooo.” (Jirachi was supposed to be asleep here, but three days ago, it disappeared, and nearby Pokemon said humans were spotted around here, but I couldn’t track him down.)

Only when Jirachi awakens can it follow the aura to determine Jirachi’s location.

”Eemo...” Teddiursa suddenly had an unpleasant thought.

Could it be that Jirachi was captured by a Human Trainer?

Upon hearing this, Absol immediately spoke, ”Woooo!” (Impossible! Jirachi hasn’t awakened yet and can’t make such a decision on its own!)

”Absol is right.” At this time, Naoki’s voice sounded again.

Absol immediately fixed its gaze on the human in that machine.

Naoki noticed Absol’s gaze and smiled, explaining:

”Absol, don’t worry, we have no malice, I am Naoki, and our search for Jirachi is solely to help it.”

Beside him, Teddiursa nodded repeatedly, ”Eemo!” (That’s right! It’s Naoki who entrusted us to come here to help Jirachi!)

Mew also said, ”miu~” (Naoki is a really nice human~)

Absol wasn’t naive; it didn’t immediately believe them but remained skeptical of the situation.

Because it was humans who took Jirachi away, it wasn’t sure whether this human was honest or just another trying to capture Jirachi.

Absol fell into silence.

Meanwhile, Naoki had already found the location of the Pokemon Amusement Park online and shared it with Teddiursa and Mew.

If he guessed right, the crystallized Jirachi had been taken by former Team Magma scientist Butler.

Butler and his girlfriend Diane were planning a grand Pokemon Amusement Park near Forina for tourists to enjoy during the seven days of the Millennial Comet’s visit.

They even held online ticket sales to attract visitors.

However, this was all just a facade.

Butler’s true intention was to use Jirachi to absorb Cosmic Energy, to create a Groudon from its fragments, proving himself to Team Magma.

The money he made from the amusement park was all invested back into his research.

”Alright, I’ve sent the locations where Jirachi might currently be to Mew, Teddiursa, and Zapdos. You can follow the navigation to reach there.”

”But with a few days left before the Millennial Comet arrives, I’m afraid Jirachi hasn’t yet awakened,”

Teddiursa and Mew were overjoyed to hear this.

”Eemo!”

”Miu!”

As expected of Naoki, truly reliable!

Meanwhile, Absol was utterly stunned.

How did this human know the location of Jirachi?

Mew started verifying the location of the Pokemon Amusement Park on the Rotom Phone and, upon finding it wasn’t far from here, immediately prepared to head there.

Teddiursa then turned to Absol, inviting it, ”Eemo eemo!” (Absol, come with us to help Jirachi!)

Absol: ”...”
