Not Being a Trainer This Time

The sun shone brightly, and the scorching sunlight poured over this rich and magnificent Indigo Sandstone Peak Forest.

As far as the eye could see, this rugged and unique terrain stretched all the way to the distant horizon, with forests scattered throughout, and winding rivers traversing the Peak Forest.

Standing on the mountain peak and looking down, there were no signs of human presence within hundreds of miles.

In addition, the abundance of water resources and the full-grown wild fruits in the green valley made it easy to imagine the large number of wild Pokemon groups that must inhabit here.

Pursuing the rumors of Jirachi, the three Pokemon of the Heroic Expedition Team slowly landed on a hill.

Mew and Teddiursa flew from Zapdos and together they gazed at this beautiful and spectacular forest land.

Teddiursa was captivated by the scenery, and it couldn’t help but mutter:

”Mee... Mee?” (So beautiful... Is this the Forina Region?)

”Miu?”

Mew tilted its little head, using its pretty blue eyes to overlook the scene below.

If that Swellow was correct, this should indeed be the Forina Region, the place where Jirachi is dormant.

Zapdos was also observing this unfamiliar land.

”Chirp.” (Anyway, we’ll know once we go down and ask.)

Upon hearing this, the three Pokemon of the Heroic Expedition Team exchanged glances, and then flew down together.

Here, like other places, also inhabited many Pokemon.

Breloom, Electrike, Linoone, Tropius, Nuzleaf, Altaria...

These local Pokemon quickly noticed the three unfamiliar visitors.

The three of the Heroic Expedition Team also saw them.

To inquire about Jirachi’s information, Mew flew to a group of Breloom and asked:

”Miu?” (Excuse me, is Jirachi over here?)

Upon hearing the unfamiliar name Jirachi, this group of Breloom appeared somewhat bewildered.

”Nota?” (Jirachi? Who’s that?)

”Miu!” (It’s a Pokemon that looks like a star!) answered Mew, as Naoki had said.

However, the group of Breloom still shook their heads.

Beside them, Teddiursa muttered: ”Mee.” (Looks like they don’t know about Jirachi.)

So, what should they do now?

Teddiursa quickly came up with a good idea!

They could simply use the Rotom Phone to ask Naoki instead!

Thinking of this, Teddiursa summoned the Rotom Phone and said to it: ”Mee!” (Rotom Phone, please help us contact Naoki!)

”Roger that, Roto!”

The screen of Phone Rotom flickered twice, and then the call interface appeared.

Accompanied by two rings, the video communication was finally connected.

Naoki’s face then appeared on the opposite side of the screen.

Through the screen, Naoki noticed the special landscape behind Teddiursa.

He quickly recognized their location.

”Looks like you’ve successfully arrived in the Forina Region,” Naoki said.

The special landscape of the Forina Region is very unique in the entire Pokemon World,

after all, its prototype is China’s Wulingyuan.

”Mee!” Teddiursa nodded repeatedly.

Then, it reported the current difficulty it was encountering to Naoki.

”Mee...” (Just that the Pokemon here seem to not know Jirachi...)

Beside, Mew also looked very puzzled.

So, several Pokemon together looked at the screen, waiting for Naoki’s answer.

”I think I know what the issue is.”

After brief contemplation, Naoki thought of a reason.

”Because the characteristic of Jirachi as a Pokemon is that it can only awaken once every thousand years, and since it’s been a thousand years since its last awakening, these Pokemon were born later, so it’s understandable they don’t know it.”

”Mee?!” Teddiursa suddenly knitted its brows, so how could they find Jirachi?

”That’s easy,” Naoki continued: ”You can first go find a Pokemon named Absol, it should know Jirachi’s location.”

In that movie, there was an Absol, which seems to be a Guardian of Jirachi, able to track Jirachi’s location, and it was the one who guided Ash and others to the Forina Region, enabling Jirachi to complete its mission.

Upon hearing this, Teddiursa quickly turned and asked the group of Breloom: ”Mee mee?” (Then do you know Absol?)

This, the Breloom did know.

Absol, it’s the Guardian of this Forina Land, they had once been helped by it.

Although unsure why these three foreign Pokemon were looking for Absol, one of the Breloom still offered assistance.

It pointed a direction with its finger, indicating: ”Nota!”

Meaning that Absol lives over there.

Mew and Teddiursa looked towards that direction, first thanking these Breloom, then rode Zapdos and flew in that direction.

During this time, the video communication on the Rotom Phone was not hung up.

Naoki also took the opportunity to observe the Forina Region and the wild Pokemon residing there through the screen.

The Nuzleaf standing on the big tree, the Tropius gathering to drink water by the river, the cautious Poochyena in the grass...

Needless to say, the types of Pokemon inhabiting there were really abundant.

This situation was also inevitable.

Jirachi absorbs the energy from millennial comets, then uses this energy to nurture this land, making the soil fertile and the vegetation more Overgrow.
