The next second, the shadow leapt up, looking down from above at Metagross.

Then, countless blue-white dazzling beams crisscrossed from Kyogre’s body.

Metagross couldn’t dodge in time and was directly blasted into the ocean.

A splendid and dazzling fiery red mushroom cloud erupted on the sea surface.

In an instant, all sounds vanished.

When everything returned to normal, huge waves followed and surged.

Witnessing that scene firsthand, Steven’s pupils contracted slightly.

That power...

But fortunately, Metagross did not lose its combat ability.

It emerged from the water, and without any retreat, continued to face off against the two Legendary Pokemon.

Groudon and Kyogre simultaneously noticed this tiny Pokemon.

Its demeanor, even as a small being, was haughty, thoroughly enraging these two Legendary Pokemon.

The crimson magma flowed again, and huge stone pillars thrust out from the ocean surface.

Kyogre dove into the water, raising its head, gathering an extremely cold ray in its mouth, and shot it fiercely at Metagross.

The two Legendary Pokemon planned to first work together to repel the two intruders, Metagross and Steven!

”Metagross, Agility!”

Steven ordered in a deep voice.

Metagross instantly entered an agile state, continuously dodging Groudon’s Precipice Blades.

Kyogre’s Ice Beam grazed past it, and in an instant, large swathes of seawater were frozen.

Metagross charged at Groudon.

Steven’s gaze followed, and when the distance was just right, he suddenly commanded: ”Meteor Mash!”

Metagross’s four metal arms instantly merged into one, and a deep blue light burst from it, descending like a meteor, blasting into Groudon.

”Crack!”

The enormous impact caused the land beneath Groudon to crumble.

”Roar!”

The enraged Groudon let out a roar, its mouth wide open, golden pupils locked on Metagross, and a fiercely burning flame surged from its mouth, instantly engulfing Metagross that hadn’t yet pulled away.

The powerful force directly sent Metagross flying back, heavily crashing onto the frozen sea by Kyogre, rolling several times.

”Metagross!” Steven frowned.

However, before his words could fall, Kyogre’s massive body once again leapt from the sea.

The blue-white beams converged at a point, and in an instant, blasted Metagross into the frozen sea.

Having dealt with Metagross, Groudon and Kyogre’s gaze once again turned to Steven and Skarmory in mid-air.

The next second, a Hydro Pump roared toward Skarmory.

”Squawk!”

Skarmory immediately flapped its wings, taking the Trainer and dodging at high speed.

At this moment, the tragic scene appeared in the eyes of countless people.

High above, the female reporter from Purple Orchid TV Station was tearful, loudly calling: ”Sir Steven!”

In the distant city’s underground shelter.

Countless citizens nervously watched the images on the screen.

”We’re doomed! Steven alone can’t deal with those two Legendary Pokemon simultaneously!”

”Is that the legendary Earth God and Sea God? Such terrifying power!”

Hoenn League Headquarters.

The director of the Hoenn League watched the screen with a grave expression.

Suddenly, a liaison officer stormed in and reported:

”Report! Other regions have offered their support; the Champions from Kanto Region and Sinnoh Region are on their way here!”

The director, over fifty years old, said solemnly: ”Until then, hold on!”

After speaking, he took off his suit and turned to leave the room.

The liaison officer was astonished: ”Director, what are you planning to do?”

Director: ”I can’t let Steven fight alone; in my youth, I was an Elite-level Trainer, and I can help somewhat!”

Sootopolis Battlefield.

After dealing with that insignificant human, Groudon and Kyogre turned their attention back to each other.

They once again engaged in a new round of conflict.

On the ice, Steven and Skarmory, who had been knocked down, found Metagross, stuck due to lack of strength beneath the ice layers.

”Cough, cough, cough!”

Through the cold ice, Steven used a Poke Ball to rescue Metagross, quickly taking a Super Potion from his pocket to heal Metagross.

Moments later, Metagross weakly opened its eyes.

Seeing Metagross was okay, Steven breathed a sigh of relief, stood up, and looked into the distance at the unending battle between Groudon and Kyogre, then checked the communication device by his ear.

”Wallace!” Steven called in a deep voice.

”I’m here!”

Sky Pillar.

Wallace was rushing up the stairs to the tower top with all his might; he could discern the hint of urgency in Steven’s voice and knew things might not be great over there, so he quickened his pace.

But this ancient tower seemed weakened by age, with its structure and floor becoming extremely fragile.

Wallace, with a careless step, missed the ground and fell to the next level.

”Hiss!”

He took a sharp breath from the pain, but there was no time to rest in this situation.

Wallace gritted his teeth and continued rushing upward.

He didn’t know how long it took, but he finally reached the last flight of stairs.

Wallace gasped heavily, raised a foot, and stepped onto the tower top.

”Rayquaza!” He shouted: ”Please come out and help us, stop the fight between Groudon and Kyogre!”
