1000 Chapter 1000 475: Farfetch’d Hits Gold, the Gambler’s Springtime! 2026-11-03

”Let it go first!”

Naoki said to Gogoat.

He had some understanding of Pokemon like Vigoroth, knowing that their rampant destruction was entirely due to their physical conditions.

After evolving from Slakoth to Vigoroth, maybe the energy accumulated during their Slakoth stage bursts out completely.

This makes their blood boil and their hearts start to beat ten times faster.

If Vigoroth doesn’t exercise, its stress will build up excessively, causing its physical condition to worsen.

This makes Vigoroth very hard to tame; their nature is wild and they can’t calm down without causing trouble, swinging their arms around and destroying things.

For Trainers, this is easily solved by letting Vigoroth battle constantly, allowing them to burn off excess energy until they evolve into Slaking.

But now...

Once Gogoat released the Vine Whip binding on Vigoroth, it started causing havoc everywhere.

It didn’t attack Naoki but started to wreak havoc on the surrounding fruit trees, and in the blink of an eye, it knocked over another fruit tree.

Naoki: ”...”

Seeing Vigoroth about to charge at the next fruit tree, Naoki hurriedly called for Gogoat.

”Gogoat, use Vine Whip!”

”Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!”

With the sound of the whip slicing the air, the agitated Vigoroth was once again tightly bound.

Naoki tried using Pokemon battles to help Vigoroth expend its energy.

He sent out Flareon, Cyclizar, Miltank, and Butterfree to take turns battling with Vigoroth.

But soon, these Pokemon came to Naoki with complaints.

Flareon and Butterfree said Vigoroth doesn’t know how to hold back and hit them really hard! They don’t want to battle with Vigoroth anymore.

Even the energetic Miltank was not spared from Vigoroth’s antics.

Though Cyclizar could knock Vigoroth down, before long, it would start causing trouble again.

Vigoroth’s energy was just too abundant, even with the ranch Pokemon helping to burn its energy.

But if they weren’t careful, a recovered Vigoroth would start causing chaos in the ranch again.

In one afternoon, it knocked down five fruit trees, messed up Farfetch’d’s leeks, and wreaked havoc on the farmland.

A furious Farfetch’d chased after it with its leek.

Although Vigoroth was temporarily knocked down, after a little over an hour of rest, it regained its energy and started wreaking havoc again.

In the end, both Naoki and the ranch Pokemon were exhausted by this restless Pokemon.

Looking at the devastated ranch, Naoki felt heartbroken.

Vigoroth isn’t really suited to ranch life.

They should be taken care of by Trainers, as Trainers can take them to battle other Trainers and challenge Gyms.

In contrast, most of the ranch Pokemon are used to a laid-back life and don’t enjoy such intense battle life.

Just as Naoki was at a loss for what to do, the Heroic Expedition Team returned with Jirachi.

Along with them came four familiar faces.

Standing on the far left were what seemed like a pair of siblings, the sister wearing red, and the brother in a green T-shirt with black-framed glasses.

In the middle was a cap-wearing boy, with a Pikachu on his shoulder.

On the far right was a somewhat mature-looking, dark-skinned boy with squinty eyes.

Seeing them, Naoki was slightly stunned.

May, Max, Ash, Brock...

Weren’t they traveling in the Hoenn Region? How did they end up coming to Paldea with Mew and the others?
