Urban Martial Saint

”That won’t do!” Handsome Fatty Wang bluntly said, ”The things from the Shen Family have to be returned to the Shen Family Manor, we can’t sell them. What we need to sell are the things from the South Ridge Sect, that’s our guarantee to make a living!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Qing, hiding in the ground hole, was startled. He didn’t expect Handsome Fatty Wang to plan to return these famed instruments to the Shen Family, which was completely beyond his expectations.

”Return them to the Shen Family? Damn, Fatty, have you eaten too much pork and clouded your mind? These famed instruments could sell for billions, and you want to give them back to the Shen Family Manor? Are you out of your mind?”

”I’m not crazy!” Handsome Fatty Wang said, ”The people from the Shen Family Manor have no grievances against me, and they have kept me well-fed and well-drunk for several days, even saved my life before. Although we’re grave robbers, even thieves have their principles. If I sell their things after they’ve treated me well, would I still be human?”

”Damn, even thieves have their principles, and you still steal people’s stuff!” Someone grumbled in dissatisfaction.

”That’s different, that’s called borrowing,” Handsome Fatty Wang said. ”If I didn’t borrow the Shen Family Manor’s famed instruments, where would I find so many to sell to the South Ridge Sect? And if I don’t sell them to the South Ridge Sect, how would I find the place where they hide their famed instruments? I’m just using the Shen Family Manor’s famed instruments temporarily and will return them later. As for the South Ridge Sect’s instruments, once we get them, we’ll sell them immediately, make a profit, and live freely abroad, got it?”

Listening to Handsome Fatty Wang, Ye Qing’s initial thought of kicking him vanished. Although this Fatty’s actions were quite outrageous, he was undeniably loyal. At least he intended to return the instruments to the Shen Family Manor, which made Ye Qing see him in a new light.

”Damn, talking about loyalty with you guys is pointless. I won’t waste words. Here’s the map, once outside, follow the map’s locations, and start the work at Great Xiao Mountain. Contact me once you’re done digging, I’ll go over, and we’ll move everything, then leave immediately. I’ve arranged for a boat, we’ll head straight to the high seas once we’re on board, and we’ll be free!”

Handsome Fatty Wang gave a few instructions, which Ye Qing heard clearly as he began moving toward the ground hole. Ye Qing dared not linger, hurriedly retraced his steps, crawled out of the ground hole, and put the cabinet back in its place. Afterwards, he quietly snuck into the courtyard to observe the situation inside the house through the window.

Not long after, Handsome Fatty Wang moved the cabinet aside and climbed out of the ground hole. This guy seemed quite exhausted from the activities in the ground hole, for no sooner had he come up than he lay on the bed and fell asleep right away.

Ye Qing was speechless. This Fatty was planning to steal from the South Ridge Sect’s stash and could still sleep so soundly. Truly, as the saying goes, those who are carefree sleep well!

Ye Qing had originally planned to directly ask Handsome Fatty Wang to return the Shen Family Manor’s famed instruments, but after hearing what Fatty said, he immediately changed his mind. No matter what, he would get hold of the South Ridge Sect’s instruments first.

Without disturbing Handsome Fatty Wang, Ye Qing quietly climbed over the courtyard wall along the original path. He specifically went to check on those whom he had hit the Coma Acupoint earlier; they were all still asleep.

Ye Qing released these people from the Coma Acupoint and contacted Huangfu Ziyu, who soon drove over again.

”How is it?” Huangfu Ziyu asked.

Monkey was also nervously watching Ye Qing, more concerned about the antidote issue.

Ye Qing casually hit Monkey’s Coma Acupoint, then recounted what he had just heard to Huangfu Ziyu.

After listening to Ye Qing, Huangfu Ziyu was silent for a while and said, ”This Fatty has quite a character!”

”Other than being a bit greedy, he’s okay, but he’s quite shameless!” Ye Qing paused and said, ”According to Handsome Fatty Wang, the South Ridge Sect’s secret warehouse is hidden in Great Xiao Mountain. They plan to dig a hole to steal things. However, the warehouse is guarded by the South Ridge Sect’s Second Sect Leader. Things might not be so smooth if Handsome Fatty Wang and the others go there!”

”The South Ridge Sect’s Second Sect Leader is certainly not weak,” Huangfu Ziyu pondered slightly and said, ”What’s your plan?”

Ye Qing laughed, ”We’re going to Beimang Mountain and need a batch of famed instruments. Initially, I planned to use the Shen Family’s batch, but now that there’s another batch ready, we can save the Shen Family’s!”

Huangfu Ziyu also laughed and said, ”In that case, let’s follow and see.”

”But if I take this batch of instruments again this time, Fatty will probably explode!” Ye Qing recalled the incident at Wan Yan Manor last time, where he trapped Handsome Fatty Wang, exposing him and taking the Dragon Blood Wood. That time, Handsome Fatty Wang almost collapsed. If he took these famed instruments again this time, he wondered how Fatty would handle it mentally.

After discussing with Huangfu Ziyu, Ye Qing woke Monkey up and had him lead the way straight to Great Xiao Mountain.

Great Xiao Mountain is located thirty miles south of Bei Wu City, standing as a solitary mountain. It doesn’t cover much area, but it is quite tall, with an elevation of around two thousand meters. The mountain is covered with greenery everywhere; this is the South, and even in winter, these plants remain lush and cover most of the mountain’s appearance.

Leaving Huangfu Ziyu and the monkey to wait at the foot of the mountain, Ye Qing got out of the car and headed uphill alone. He first needed to find the group sent by Handsome Fatty Wang to dig the cave. In doing so, he would be able to locate the secret warehouse and retrieve the items.

”Big Brother...” Seeing Ye Qing preparing to ascend the mountain, the monkey couldn’t help but ask, ”My antidote, when will you give it to me? It’s...it’s been almost twelve hours!”

”What are you talking about? It hasn’t been even six hours yet, how is it almost twelve hours?” Ye Qing retorted, ”Stop babbling nonsense, do your job honestly, and you won’t lack the antidote. Keep making noise, and I’ll make the poison take effect right now, do you believe it?”

The monkey shivered in fear and quickly replied, ”Yes, yes, I...I understand, I understand...”

Ye Qing ignored the monkey, taking advantage of the night to quietly ascend the mountain. After leaving Handsome Fatty Wang behind, he waited for Huangfu Ziyu to arrive and talked with her a lot, which delayed him. Meanwhile, the group sent by Handsome Fatty Wang had already set off, so they should all be on the mountain now. Ye Qing’s current task was to find them.

Great Xiao Mountain hasn’t been developed, and it’s quite desolate, with almost no mountain paths. However, given Ye Qing’s current Qinggong skills, climbing this mountain is almost like playing.

Within less than an hour, Ye Qing had covered most of the mountain. However, along the way, he had yet to find any trace of people, making him doubt whether he had come to the wrong place. Logically, the group sent by Handsome Fatty Wang should have arrived long ago, but why hadn’t they?

Standing silent for a moment, Ye Qing suddenly recalled Old Wang Ba’s earlier words. This secret warehouse is extremely well-hidden; without a map, even if you traverse the mountain dozens of times, finding this secret warehouse is simply impossible. This means searching on the surface won’t lead to finding the secret warehouse at all.

Ye Qing immediately lay on the ground, placing his ear to the earth to listen to his surroundings. If these people were indeed here to dig, there should be some noises to hear.

Indeed, as Ye Qing expected, placing his ear on the ground, he heard faint vibrations, like someone was digging at a distant place. It seems the group sent by Handsome Fatty Wang had indeed arrived earlier.

Confirming the direction, Ye Qing quietly walked towards it. After covering a distance of over two hundred meters, Ye Qing arrived at the edge of a cliff.

This cliff was extremely steep, almost vertically up and down. The edge was covered in layers of vine-like plants, obscuring the view of the rocks within the cliff.

Ye Qing lay down to listen again, this time hearing clearly that the digging sound was coming from the top of the cliff. Ye Qing looked up, could it be they were on top of this cliff?

Without hesitation, Ye Qing circled around to the other side, found a small path, and stealthily proceeded to the top of the cliff. It took about five minutes to reach there.

The top of the cliff was a dense forest. Ye Qing walked closer to the edge and finally spotted the group sent by Handsome Fatty Wang. There were six people, currently using a device to dig at the cliff’s top. The device wasn’t very loud, and because Ye Qing’s Six Senses were keen and he had listened earlier, he could perceive the sound. Even now that Ye Qing was close, the device was still relatively quiet.

”Damn, this secret warehouse is truly hidden; it’s concealed at the top of a cliff. Did you see, earlier, the top was completely covered in vine plants, shrouding the cliff tightly. Who would think there would be a cave in the cliff wall?”

”Besides, the cliff is vertically steep, and no one would climb up here. If there is a cave here, without a map pointing it out, I’d never find it!”

”That’s why it’s called a secret warehouse. As it seems, Fatty’s words ring true. This warehouse is indeed hidden; the South Ridge Sect likely doesn’t have many guards inside either.”

”If there are no guards, then why are we digging? We’d better rush in, deal with whoever’s inside, grab the stuff, and be out!”

”Come on, are you brainless? No guards might mean there are traps inside, what if we encounter mechanisms directly going in?”

From the discussion among the group, Ye Qing finally knew the exact location of the secret warehouse.

A cave on the cliff? With so many vine plants covering securely, who could find it? The South Ridge Sect truly hid this warehouse well!
