Urban Martial Saint

”Think about him?” Tie Weihua glared, saying, ”Why should I think about him? When he came to stir up trouble at our Xingyi Martial Arts School, did he ever consider us? Eldest senior brother, this isn’t the first time he has caused trouble at our Xingyi Martial Arts School. What does he think our school is? A place where he can come and go as he pleases, fight if he wants to, and curse if he feels like it? Are we from Xingyi School so weak? I’ll tell you, I can’t stand this, and I won’t consider him either. So what if an explosion happened at the orphanage, so what if people died? What does that have to do with me? Why should he come here and make a scene!”

”Wei Hua!” Gao Shusen’s face turned cold as he said sternly, ”What are you saying? Those were children, how can you have no compassion?”

Tie Weihua froze for a moment, realizing his mistake, he hurriedly said, ”Eldest senior brother, I don’t mean I don’t care about those children. I just think that Ye Qing is too much. Look at how he beat us up!”

”Enough said!” Gao Shusen waved his hand, saying, ”I will report this matter to Master myself!”

Tie Weihua’s face chilled. He was, after all, Tie Yongwen’s son; naturally, he should be the one to report to Tie Yongwen. But Gao Shusen’s words made it clear that he wanted to avoid him and personally speak to Tie Yongwen. That is to say, Gao Shusen no longer trusted him!

Gao Shusen staggered out of the main hall, while Tie Weihua’s face turned iron blue. He stood in silence for a long time, then suddenly punched the table, gritting his teeth and growling, ”Ye Qing, I will not let you go!”

As he spoke, Tie Weihua coughed twice and couldn’t help but vomit several mouthfuls of blood. His internal injury was serious, even worse than Gao Shusen’s. However, what he couldn’t bear the most was being defeated by Ye Qing in front of so many people—it was a humiliation. He was Tie Yongwen’s only son, always held himself in high regard - never before had he suffered such a loss, endured such humiliation.

On the other side, Ye Qing left the Xingyi Martial Arts School and headed straight for the Ding Family. The only place where Ding Shaoyan could escape to now was the Ding Family. In the past, Ye Qing had fears about the Ding Family’s power, but this time, after what Ding Shaoyan had done, he had thrown all his concerns to the wind, seeking only to avenge those innocent children.

At the entrance of the Ding Family Courtyard, Ye Qing drove his car charging forward, with no intention of stopping, he crashed through the gates.

When Ye Qing’s car burst in, panic ensued within the courtyard. A few guards hurriedly ran over; they had been with the Ding Family for so long, yet this was the first time they had seen someone dare to crash in like that.

”What are you doing?” the lead security guard shouted as several guards rushed up, surrounding Ye Qing who had just gotten out of his car.

Ye Qing did not respond; he walked straight to the head of the security guards. Seeing how imposing Ye Qing was, the security captain felt a pang of panic and kept shouting to stop him. But Ye Qing didn’t halt his steps and continued walking right up to him. Shocked, the security captain subconsciously raised his stun baton to strike at Ye Qing, only to be met with Ye Qing’s fist at his elbow, instantly breaking his arm, causing him to scream in pain.

Two other guards saw what happened and rushed over, but they too were knocked down by Ye Qing’s punches. Without any courtesy, Ye Qing grabbed the neck of the security captain, lifting him up, and demanded, ”Where is Ding Shaoyan?”

Trembling all over in pain and knowing he was no match for Ye Qing, the security captain immediately answered with a quivering voice, ”He... he just came back and went to the western courtyard...”

Ye Qing released his hold, heading straight for the western courtyard. The other guards looked on from afar, but none dared to stop him; Ye Qing seemed like a wrathful deity, feared by all.

There were many people in the western courtyard, and as Ye Qing entered, several were chatting and drinking tea in the yard. They were all taken aback by the sudden intrusion, unsure of what had happened.

”What’s going on?” a man asked with a deep voice.

The guards who had followed behind arrived, one of them hastily reporting, ”This guy smashed our gates with his car, he must be here to cause trouble...”

The expressions of the people in the courtyard changed. The Ding Family had stood for so long in Shenchuan City, and no one had ever dared to barge in to cause trouble. Everyone’s eyes turned to Ye Qing, and one of them frowned and asked incredulously, ”Are you Ye Qing?”

This man was someone who had seen Ye Qing at the Xingyi Martial Arts School before; he was one of the eight people from the Ding Family present when Tie Yongwen crippled Ding Shaoyan’s meridians, rendering his martial arts useless. Ye Qing still remembered his name—Ding Changsheng, a member of the Ding Family’s main line. On that day, while Ye Qing was settling the account with Ding Shaoyan, he always thought that Tie Yongwen’s punishment was too harsh, harboring quite a resentment towards Ye Qing.

”Ye Qing?” The others in the Ding Family slightly shifted their expressions, and one of them asked with gravity, ”Is this Ye Qing?”

”Yes, he is Ye Qing!” Ding Changsheng nodded, looking at Ye Qing, he said with a heavy voice, ”Ye Qing, what do you want to do? This is the Ding Family, not your own turf. You drove through our gate, you are really not putting the Ding Family in your eyes!”

Ye Qing ignored him, scanning the western courtyard. Not seeing Ding Shaoyan, he demanded again, ”Where is Ding Shaoyan?”

”What do you want with Shao Yan?” Ding Changsheng furrowed his brow, asserting, ”After the last incident, Uncle Tie destroyed Shao Yan’s three meridians and completely crippled his martial arts. Isn’t that enough for you? If you thought it wasn’t enough, you should have spoken up then. What does settling scores after the harvest mean now?”

”I asked you, where is Ding Shaoyan!” Ye Qing intensified his tone, not wishing to waste words.

”Hey, this kid has quite the attitude!” someone next to Ding Changsheng exclaimed, standing up and saying, ”So, you’re Ye Qing, huh? Hmph, I was actually planning to find you, but here you are delivering yourself on a silver platter. Let me ask you, how did you bamboozle Uncle Tie and our family’s old man into crippling Shao Yan last time? I just don’t understand what unforgivable sin Shao Yan committed for you to ruthlessly cripple him like that. And now, after all that has happened, you still have the nerve to come to our Ding Family looking for Shao Yan. When will you ever stop?”

”I’ll ask again, where is Ding Shaoyan!” Ye Qing’s voice had become chillingly cold.

”Fuck off, what do you think you are, threatening us!” Another man stood up and charged straight towards Ye Qing. When he reached Ye Qing, he aimed a kick at him.

His kick did not land on Ye Qing but was met with a punch from Ye Qing to the chest, sending him flying back. Falling to the ground, the man spat out blood several times, clearly suffering from severe injuries.

At that moment, the western courtyard instantly erupted into a commotion as several people from the Ding Family were overwhelmed with anger, rushing up to surround Ye Qing.

Ye Qing held nothing back, unleashing the domineering techniques of Li Style Bajiquan, and it wasn’t long before he sent three people flying. This made the Ding Family fully realize Ye Qing’s strength, and they no longer dared to encircle him, quickly backing away.

Ye Qing paid no mind to these people and strode towards the inside of the western courtyard, intent on finding Ding Shaoyan. He had barely taken two steps when a sinister voice came from behind him, ”Stop, or I’ll shoot!”

Ye Qing turned to see Ding Changsheng holding a handgun, which was pointed directly at Ye Qing. The others from the Ding Family were also shocked, and one of them whispered, ”Changsheng, have you lost your mind? Why the hell are you drawing a gun?”

”He barged into our house and hurt our people; this is a home invasion. Even if I shoot, the army officers won’t punish me!” Ding Changsheng gritted his teeth as he looked at Ye Qing, and said, ”Mr. Ye, get your ass back here, or I’ll really shoot!”

Ye Qing stared at the muzzle of the gun in Ding Changsheng’s hand, stayed silent for a moment, and slowly turned to face Ding Changsheng. Just when Ding Changsheng thought Ye Qing was going to comply, Ye Qing suddenly lunged forward as if to charge at Ding Changsheng.

Ding Changsheng was startled and pulled the trigger without hesitation. With a bang, the glass door behind shattered. In fact, Ye Qing’s forward lunge was just a feint. With half a step forward, he dropped to the ground, narrowly avoiding the bullet. He then picked up a stone and hurled it, hitting Ding Changsheng right on the head.

”Agh!” Ding Changsheng screamed in pain, his head busted open and bleeding profusely as he buckled over to the ground.

Without any hesitation, Ye Qing dashed to Ding Changsheng’s side. Sensing trouble, Ding Changsheng tried to raise the gun to aim at Ye Qing, but Ye Qing already had a grip on his right hand. A sharp twist caused Ding Changsheng’s wrist to ache in pain, losing his grip on the gun which Ye Qing then snatched away, turning the muzzle toward Ding Changsheng’s head.

”What do you think you’re doing?”

”Don’t shoot!”

”Put down the gun quickly, gun theft is a serious crime!”

The others from the Ding Family’s faces turned white, crying out in fear, terrified Ye Qing might shoot and kill Ding Changsheng.

”Where’s Ding Shaoyan?” Ye Qing demanded coldly, pointing the gun at Ding Changsheng’s head.

”If you have the guts, then just kill me!” Ding Changsheng shouted back, looking unafraid of death.

”Alright!” Ye Qing shouted, and at that moment, someone suddenly pounced from the side, shoving Ye Qing away. At the same time, a gun shot rang out, startling everyone present.

”Changsheng! Changsheng!” the crowd exclaimed, thinking that Ye Qing’s shot had hit Ding Changsheng.

Looking at Ding Changsheng, they saw him crouching and clutching his head, screaming, ”Don’t shoot, don’t kill me, I’ll talk, I’ll talk, Ding Shaoyan went inside the western courtyard, please don’t kill me...”

Witnessing Ding Changsheng’s pitiful state, those present exchanged glances, Ding Changsheng utterly embarrassed himself. Their hearts couldn’t help but tremble at the madness of Ye Qing; he had actually fired the gun. What wouldn’t he dare do?

They turned to look at Ye Qing, who was now grappling with a man. The two moved swiftly, equally matched, neither able to gain any advantage. This man was no other than Tie Yongwen’s closed-door disciple, Du Tianyi!
