Urban Martial Saint

Huo Pingping was stunned for a moment before tears came, and she desperately grabbed the hand of the person who had arrived, as if she had latched onto a lifesaving straw.

The person was none other than Ye Qing. Inside the room, there were seven men, all armed. He didn’t dare to barge in rashly because he wouldn’t be able to take down seven men instantly. If in desperation these men scarred the faces of the three girls with their weapons, it would be all over for him. Therefore, Ye could only wait for an opportunity.

And just then, the short one came out, so he seized the opportunity.

”Don’t shout, listen to me!” Ye Qing slowly released his grip, and Huo Pingping nodded repeatedly, not knowing whether she was more excited or more frightened, still shivering.

Ye Qing spoke in a low voice, ”When the time comes, don’t worry about anything, just scream and run back into that room. If they ask you anything, don’t say a word, just keep screaming, understand?”

”Scream?” Huo Pingping was puzzled and asked, ”How do I scream?”

Ye Qing said, ”How does a girl scream when she sees something terrifying?”

”Oh.” Huo Pingping caught on and then asked, ”But why should I scream?”

”Don’t worry about the details and just do as I say!” Ye Qing instructed her briefly, then turned around, picked up the short man, and used his belt to tie him to some equipment at the junction. Seen from a distance in the darkness, he looked as if he was hanging there, which was particularly chilling in the dark.

Having done this, Ye Qing positioned himself at the entrance of the small house. He turned his head and waved at Huo Pingping, signaling her to start her act.

Huo Pingping swallowed hard and suddenly took off running forward, screaming at the top of her lungs. By the time she reached the doorway, the door to the small house opened, and three men were standing at the entrance. Seeing Huo Pingping running towards them, they couldn’t help but wonder, ”What’s wrong?”

Huo Pingping didn’t reply but ran back into the room, still screaming.

The men inside stood up and looked outside, just in time to see the short man tied to the equipment at the end of the junction. In the darkness, the short man’s pose looked quite sinister.

”What the hell is this?” one of the men asked, puzzled.

”Fifth Brother! Fifth Brother!” another shouted loudly, but the short man was in no position to reply.

”Is it a ghost?” a timorous one suggested in a low voice.

Eldest Brother’s eyes had been rinsed and he was also standing at the doorway. He immediately cursed, ”Bullshit, there’s no such thing as ghosts in this world! You four go over and see what’s going on!”

Four men walked out of the room to check on the short man. However, just after they left, Ye Qing, who had been hiding in the darkness by the doorway, suddenly charged into the room.

Eldest Brother and another man were at the entrance; they couldn’t stop Ye Qing’s sudden intrusion and were both knocked to the ground by him.

Ignoring them, Ye Qing quickly ran to Fang Tingyun and Mo Xiang, placing the two women behind him for protection.

Only at this point did Ye Qing finally breathe a sigh of relief. With the two women behind him, they were truly safe!

Seeing Ye Qing, Eldest Brother immediately realized what had happened. He turned his head and angrily shouted, ”Motherfucker, so it was you causing all this trouble. Kid, who the fuck are you? I’ll tell you this, this is a personal matter, you’d better not meddle!”

Ye Qing quietly looked at Eldest Brother and said, ”Although we haven’t met face to face, we have spoken over the phone. You shouldn’t have forgotten my voice yet.”

Eldest Brother furrowed his brows, fell silent for a moment, then suddenly exclaimed, ”Damn it, you’re the guy who called!”

Ye Qing nodded, looking at the four men who had just walked back in, and said, ”You haven’t forgotten what I told you, have you?”

”Hmph, I remember you talking big. Saying you’d break all of our arms and legs?” Eldest Brother sneered, ”I’ve never seen anyone as arrogant as you in my life. I’d like to see who ends up with broken limbs today!”

Ye Qing did not reply, instead turning to look at the three women.

Seeing Ye Qing, Fang Tingyun’s eyes immediately filled with unstoppable tears. Despite being in such a dangerous situation, she felt an immense sense of safety.

Huo Pingping had already untied the two women and hugged them, keeping a distance from the men. She pointed at the men angrily and said, ”Ye Qing, help us take revenge. These disgusting men went too far; look what they did to Xiao Fangfang’s hand!”

Fang Tingyun’s wrists showed deep impressions from being bound, which were indeed heartbreaking to look at.

”I’ve said it before, if my friends lose even a single hair, I’ll break your arms and legs!” Ye Qing calmly faced the six men and said, ”Come at me together, I still need to take them back to rest later!”

The six men were taken aback, then burst into laughter, especially Eldest Brother. Because his eyes were sore, tears came out as he laughed, looking particularly ludicrous.

”Do you really need all of us? Motherfucker, I can squash you with just one hand!” A tall, burly man stepped forward and reached out to grab Ye Qing.

This man was tall and tightly built, his hand was almost as big as a fan. Ye Qing, being 1.75 meters tall, looked a whole head shorter. That was why the burly man didn’t take Ye Qing seriously and didn’t bother to guard himself as he moved to grab him.

But before his hand could reach Ye Qing, Ye Qing had already punched him in the chest.

The man let out a muffled groan, stumbled back several steps, and leaned against the wall, unable to stand. He vomited mouthfuls of blood, his mouth agape but unable to utter a word. Several of his ribs were broken, and judging by the blood he was spitting out, his internal organs were likely damaged too.

Seeing the condition of the three women, Ye Qing was furious and showed no mercy in his strike. It was only because the man had a robust physique; otherwise, if it had been any of the other weaker men, the outcome of that punch could have been much grimmer.

The other five men were stunned. This man was the strongest fighter among the five of them. Yet, he didn’t last even a second before staggering back spitting blood?

”Hey, Third Brother, aren’t you exaggerating a bit?” Eldest Brother exclaimed, ”What...what’s this? You need to spit out all that blood?”

The man’s mouth hung open, but aside from spitting blood, he couldn’t say anything.

The three women also widened their eyes, except for Fang Tingyun, the other two women were full of shock. They only knew Ye Qing had some abilities in surveillance. Little did they know he was also good at fighting. However, thinking about it, Ye Qing was an ex-military after all, so his combat capability was normal. But this was just too exaggerated!

Ye Qing did not pay attention to the man but looked at the remaining five and said, ”I advise you to come at me together, don’t waste time!”

All five shuddered. Now, no one dared to doubt that Ye Qing was bluffing, and the more cowardly even couldn’t help but quietly step back.

Eldest Brother slapped the retreating man and cursed, ”Damn it, there are five of us, and you’re still afraid of him!”

The man trembled, ”I... I wasn’t...”

”Cut the crap, multiple fists are better than two. Let’s go together and kill him!” Eldest Brother said, pulling out a machete from his waist and rushing towards Ye Qing with a howl.

The other four also drew their weapons, things like steel pipes and machetes, and aimed at Ye Qing’s head.

Ye Qing stood still, while the three women behind him were extremely nervous. Huo Pingping screamed in fear, and Fang Tingyun couldn’t help but remind, ”Ye, be careful!”

Ye Qing was very careful; he treated every opponent with the same attitude. He didn’t move because he was carefully observing, looking for the most appropriate moment and position.

As the five weapons came down, Ye Qing suddenly stepped forward, charging directly into Eldest Brother’s arms.

No one expected Ye Qing to take such a risk at that moment, their weapons missed. However, Ye Qing had already grabbed Eldest Brother’s neck and punched him in the nose.

Eldest Brother immediately understood why that man was in so much pain, as his own nasal bone was broken too. Although his internal organs weren’t damaged, the blood from his mouth and nose wouldn’t stop flowing.

Holding his nose, Eldest Brother stumbled back several steps before finally crying out loud. However, because of the broken nose, his voice was buzzing, which sounded particularly unsettling.

The remaining four were stunned again, but Ye Qing did not hesitate and punched one of them in the chest and abdomen, causing him to fall to the ground.

The remaining three panicked at once, with the cowardly one turning around and running, trying to escape.

Ye Qing quickly chased after him, kicking the man in the back. He immediately fell to the ground, struggling to get up. Ye Qing followed with another kick to the back of his head, knocking him out cold.

The last two exchanged looks and ran in opposite directions. They knew they couldn’t beat Ye Qing and tried to escape separately, hoping at least one of them could get away.

However, their calculations were good, but how could Ye Qing be an ordinary person?

Ye Qing effortlessly picked up a machete from the ground, threw it with great force at one of them, and chased after the other.

When the machete, thrown with full force by Ye Qing, tore through the air, it whistled slightly. The man hadn’t run far when the machete hit his back, slashing an inch-long wound and blood gushed forth.

As for the other, Ye Qing caught up with him in less than ten meters, grabbed his neck, and dragged him into the room.

Six men, in less than three minutes, were all lying on the ground defeated by Ye Qing.

Eldest Brother, covering his mouth and nose with his chest heaving, stared at Ye Qing furiously yet in panic, and muttered, ”Brother, who... who exactly are you?”

Ye Qing adjusted his military uniform and said softly, ”Can’t you tell?”

Eldest Brother shook his head, ”There are seven of us... three have served in the military, yet we can’t beat you!”

Ye Qing didn’t respond but turned and went out, dragging the short one in as well.

The short one slowly came to and seeing the situation inside the room, was shocked.

Huo Pingping seized the opportunity and went up to the short one, kicking him furiously, splattering his face with blood without stopping her feet.

”Daring to take advantage of me, I’ll kick you to death, kick you to death, kick you to death!”

As Huo Pingping kicked and shouted, she displayed a bit of a fierce nature.

Fang Tingyun, unable to bear watching, pulled Huo Pingping away together with Mo Xiang.

”Ye, shall we call the police?” Fang Tingyun whispered.

”No need!” Ye Qing waved his hand and said, ”You three go out first.”

”Go out? For what?” Huo Pingping asked curiously.

”You wait for me at the door, don’t come in,” Ye Qing said coldly, looking at the men inside the room, ”I have some promises to keep with them!”

Huo Pingping immediately remembered what Ye Qing had said earlier and shuddered all over. However, she had no sympathy for these people and quickly turned around, dragging Fang Tingyun and Mo Xiang away.

Ye Qing went to close the room door, turned around to look at the men lying on the ground, and said coldly, ”I keep my word. If I said I’d break your arms and legs, I won’t miss even one finger!”

The faces of the seven men froze instantaneously, and they now thoroughly believed that Ye Qing meant every word he had said!
