Urban Martial Saint

Leopard charged forward with an overwhelming presence, taking large strides towards Ye Qing. When he reached him, he lifted his foot and aimed a kick at Ye Qing’s head.

The crowd behind him cheered simultaneously. Leopard’s kick was exquisitely beautiful, and it carried a tremendous force, ferociously targeting Ye Qing.

Leopard was also smug. Having trained in Taekwondo from the beginning, he was quite skilled. After following Boss Lin, he became bold and ruthless, and with his fighting skills, he was highly valued by Boss Lin.

This time, the matter with Ye Qing had given Boss Lin a significant headache. So when he received the news, he immediately came to disable Ye Qing and secure himself a commendation from Boss Lin. Of course, he did not hold back at all, aiming his kick directly at Ye Qing’s temple, intending to knock him out with one kick!

Ye Qing stood still without moving. When Leopard approached him, Ye Qing suddenly lifted his foot and kicked the leg Leopard was using to support himself.

Leopard immediately staggered back several steps, limping with that leg, clearly unstable.

”You motherfucker, dare to ambush me!” Leopard roared furiously, ”Kill him, kill him for me!”

Several men behind him rushed forward immediately, and the four men on the other side also gathered their courage, clamoring as they charged at Ye Qing.

Facing these ten or so people, Ye Qing did not show the slightest panic; his expression was surprisingly calm. He slowly stepped forward to meet the two charging at him, extending his hands and grabbing their fists with great precision.

Ye Qing twisted his hands backwards, and the two men immediately bent over and fell to the ground, while their fists were still caught in Ye Qing’s hands.

Ye Qing kicked out twice, hitting the elbows of the two men. Both of their arms twisted at the same time, their bones broken by Ye Qing’s kicks!

”Die!” Another man took the opportunity, pulling out a dagger and stabbing it towards Ye Qing’s waist.

Ye Qing, well-prepared, slightly shifted his body to dodge the dagger, and simultaneously grabbed the man’s neck with a reverse hand. With a loud roar, he lifted the man by his neck and threw him over his shoulder. The man was hurled like a sandbag by Ye Qing and crashed down onto the two men in front of him.

Such a move might seem simple, but it actually required immense strength. Ye Qing, who had trained in boxing with Third Master Li in his younger years, possessed strength far beyond ordinary people, enabling him to throw a man weighing over one hundred and sixty or seventy pounds. It wouldn’t be so easy for someone else!

This action also startled the crowd, and those who had been roaring and charging forward now hesitated.

”What are you afraid of, get him, get him!” Leopard bellowed, limping towards Ye Qing.

He dared not kick anymore, only using his fists to strike at Ye Qing. But Taekwondo’s main skill lies in the legs; without kicking, what’s the difference between you and a cripple?

Ye Qing dodged his two punches, suddenly bending forward and rushing, he grabbed Leopard around the waist. With a loud shout, he lifted Leopard entirely and leaned back; Leopard was thrown over the shoulder, landing headfirst on the ground.

This shoulder throw was particularly lethal. After all, it slammed the whole body weight of a person, along with the force of the throw, onto the head, enough to be potentially fatal.

Ye Qing showed no mercy towards these people, so his moves were also without any hesitation. Leopard was tossed over, his head bleeding profusely, and he lay on the ground unable to move.

The underlings around were instantly stunned. Leopard, usually so aggressive and arrogant, couldn’t even last two moves against Ye Qing without being beaten to this state?

The crowd looked at Ye Qing as if he were a viper, with the faint-hearted even turning to flee.

”Where do you think you’re going!” Ye Qing strode forward, catching up with them one by one, knocking them down to the ground.

Since these men were all Boss Lin’s men, they must have been involved in exploiting children and disabled individuals for begging. Ye Qing showed no mercy towards these people. The dozen or so men, all had their arms and legs broken by Ye Qing, and he left them lying in the alley.

After dealing with these men, Ye Qing walked to Leopard, bent down, and squatted next to him.

”You...you dare hit me, I will definitely kill you! I will definitely kill you!” Leopard was still defiant, his personality as fierce as always.

”I’m waiting for you!” Ye Qing quietly looked at Leopard, saying, ”However, if you have your arms and legs broken, you probably won’t ever get the chance to seek revenge in this lifetime!”

Leopard, somewhat frightened, roared, ”You...you despicable coward, you’re afraid I’ll seek revenge and now you...you want to cripple me?”

Ye Qing shook his head, ”I’m disabling you guys not because I fear your revenge, but to let you taste what it’s like to have your arms and legs broken, to let you understand the pain of those disabled individuals whose limbs you’ve amputated.”

”You make it sound so nice, but in the end...you’re just ruthless. If you disable us, how...how are you any different from us!” Leopard howled, ”What then? Is their life worth more than ours?”

Ye Qing looked coldly at Leopard, saying, ”People like you, do you even deserve to sit on equal terms with them? People like you, do you even deserve to consider yourselves human? In my eyes, what’s the difference between you and a beast?”

”You dare insult me!” Leopard roared furiously, ”If you’ve got the guts, don’t cripple me, wait until I’ve recovered, I swear I’ll kill you!”

”Fine, I’ll give you a chance!” Ye Qing calmly watched Leopard, saying, ”Answer a few of my questions, and you can go back in one piece today!”

”What… what questions?” Leopard asked.

Ye Qing looked at Leopard and said solemnly, ”Who exactly is Boss Lin?”

”You want me to betray my eldest brother, that’s absolutely impossible!” Leopard bellowed.

”I gave you a chance. If you can’t take it, you can’t blame me!” Ye Qing reached out, grabbed Leopard’s right leg, and slowly exerted pressure, saying, ”You must have put a lot of effort into this leg; wouldn’t it be a pity if it just broke like that?”

”Let me go! Fight me one-on-one fairly if you dare!” Leopard screamed furiously.

”Fair?” Ye Qing sneered, ”You and a dozen others against me alone? Did you ever think of fairness? Now that you’ve been defeated by me, you want fairness? What does fairness mean? How can it be fair? If you bring a hundred people to fight me, would that be your idea of fairness?”

Leopard: ”You… you ambushed me when I was off guard, otherwise, you couldn’t have beaten me!”

”Victory or defeat has nothing to do with being off guard, it is inevitable. A loss is a loss!” Ye Qing spoke coldly, twisting Leopard’s right leg and slowly applying force, ”Answer my question, and you can keep this leg!”

”Impossible!” Leopard roared furiously.

”Then I’m sorry!” Ye Qing suddenly exerted force, and with a snap, Leopard’s leg was instantly twisted and broken.

Leopard let out a cry of pain, his eyes filled with blood-red fury as he glared viciously at Ye Qing, roaring, ”If you’ve got the guts, kill me, I won’t… I won’t betray my eldest brother!”

”If you don’t speak now, your left leg will be ruined too!” Ye Qing grabbed Leopard’s left leg, continuing to apply pressure.

”Kill me then! Go ahead and kill me! I won’t talk, I won’t say anything!” Leopard screamed loudly.

Ye Qing twisted Leopard’s left leg to the extreme, applying more force, and the leg bone was about to break. Yet, even though Leopard was sweating profusely from the pain, he still stubbornly refused to yield.

Seeing Leopard like this, Ye Qing suddenly let go and stood up, ”Indeed a real man, alright, today I’ll let you go. But if I ever encounter you again, you won’t be so lucky. I respect you as a man, but what you do is contemptible!”

Leopard lay on the ground, watching Ye Qing’s fading figure and roared, ”Don’t think that letting me go means you can buy me off; when I run into you next time, I definitely won’t let you go!”

”I’ll be waiting!” Ye Qing dropped these three words, slowly walking away from the alley.

Watching Ye Qing’s retreating figure, Leopard’s expression was somewhat bewildered. Everyone said this man was ruthless and brutal, but why did he suddenly let him go this time?

Ye Qing didn’t harbor any ulterior motives; had Leopard spoken Boss Lin’s identity and background to save his life, Ye Qing would have kept his promise to release him. However, Ye Qing would definitely look down on him.

Yet, Leopard enduring to that extent while still remaining loyal, that alone made Ye Qing respect him. Thus, Ye Qing gave him a chance, a gesture of respect for a tough guy!

After these incidents, Ye Qing had more or less figured out Boss Lin’s situation.

Boss Lin in Shenchuan City was considered to be a quite successful figure. It was said that the man had a strong background, yet it was unknown why he chose the wrong path and engaged in exploiting disabled people and children for begging. However, having operated in this line for so long and still standing strong in Shenchuan City showed that the man had complicated connections behind him.

Despite these occurrences, Ye Qing had already developed a killing intent towards Boss Lin. However, he wasn’t currently considering confronting Boss Lin directly. This man’s connection in Shenchuan City was intricate and complex; even a mighty dragon like Ye Qing might not be able to suppress this local thug.

Moreover, considering the countless subordinates Boss Lin might have, Ye Qing, relying on his own strength alone, wasn’t yet ready to confront him head-on without being fully confident.

But the matter of finding his brother, Ye Jun, couldn’t be delayed. Every time Ye Qing rescued those disabled people, he would show them a photo of Ye Jun, asking about him but never inquiring from Boss Lin’s subordinates. He couldn’t let Boss Lin know he was searching for Ye Jun, or Ye Jun’s safety would be in jeopardy.

Thus, Ye Qing could only continue his search slowly, simultaneously gradually uncovering Boss Lin’s background.

Returning to the bridge tunnel, Ye Qing took off his outer coat, sat down cross-legged, and continued practicing his breathing with the techniques from the Acupoint Seeking Technique.

These days, he had clearly felt the circulation of energy within his body. However, the circulation was incredibly slow, and many meridians were blocked, unable to break through. This energy just circulated within that small part. It seemed that Neijia Kung Fu indeed required time to cultivate and couldn’t be achieved overnight.

However, Ye Qing was clear that if his Neijia Kung Fu could achieve some success, his strength would surely increase many times over. At the very least, he would be able to move unimpeded through Shenchuan City. But for now, he still needed to be cautious dealing with Boss Lin!
