The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 331: Chapter 331- Jester-Jester

Of course, she wouldn’t be a level 10 if something of this level managed to knock her off balance. In that minuscule window of a fraction of a second, she coiled her body around, churning the waters around her to swat away the palm that was pushing on her shoulder.

In that same breath, she jabbed her fist forward in a motion of an upper cut. Of course, no matter how powerful she was, one has to see who she was fighting. Reinahrdt was not just your any level 10 knight but someone who had surpassed the realm of heroes.

The + in his status meant that even the Altar that was left by the seven great gods is unable to show his level. If he wanted to, he could easily dodge that punch. Nevertheless, he still let it hit him.

Why? Because if he doesn’t, this pointless battle will continue on.

BOOM... a large pillar of water rose through the sky as the uppercut finally landed on the Divine Paladin.

”You happy now?” Reinhardt spoke, his chin arched upwards from the force, as for his legs they were still rooted to their place. The man did not take a single step back even after taking that attack head on.

”Hmph,” The woman snorted, pulling back her fist. ”This hardly counts as repayment for what you did to me”.

It looks like this woman was hellbent on carrying this grudge to her grave. Reinhardt did not say anything either, as a knight, it was beneath him to make any more excuses.

Be that may, Erza Crimonstar’s expression did ease up a little now that she took it out on him. Landing that uppercut made her feel good.

Of course, neither of the parties was going all out. Both of them were suppressing their stats to a level where they could keep the environmental damage to a minimum.

”Haha, that was a lovely exchange. However, would you please stop disturbing the peace and serenity of the city?”

A man in dark obsidian armor spoke. While they did try to suppress their strength as much as possible, it was the two level 10 heroes who were fighting. Needless to say, the commotion they created with what they classify as light sparring was enough to shake the very city and cause mass panic among the people.

The disturbance was so great that the rising pillars of water in the waterfall’s basin could be seen anywhere from the city. Even the level 10 hero currently present in the capital of Aetherion was attracted to the commotion.

”I heard it before from Brutus; however, do you guys really need to fight every time you see each other?”

The world did not know about the incident that happened back inside the dungeon. All they knew was that the Crimson Knight, Erza Crimsonstar hated the Divine Paladin, and the relationship between them was weird.

”Hmph,” The latter snorted, turned aroun,d and left. Now that she was satisfied after venting her anger, she left as swiftly as he arrived.

”What are you doing, man? If you make such a commotion, the big fish won’t take the bait”.

The big fish here was naturally the ancient demons or the Heavenly Kings. The demons were only attacking right now because they thought the other four heroes were either at the border or were away on a mission.

As far as they knew, there was only one level 10 knight present in the capital, and that was Vaerion, who was about to get married. Them fighting like this was like announcing to the demons that there are still powerful knights on the level of heroes still present in the capital.

Days remining before the wedding, four.

.

The place was a hallowed ground, soft white walls enclosed the place, and a soothing choir resonated across the hall. Soft rays of sun shone through the stained glass window, and murals of gods and depictions of the ancient era decorated the place.

The place was holy ground; in fact, it was one of the temples of Thousand Stars serving one of the seven old gods. Skarnyx the Twelfth Heavenly King was seated on top of the corpses of the pious believers and feeding his decapitated head the human hearts.

Jingle~ Jingle~...

Suddenly, the sound of sleigh bells rang across the hall, bringing some life into this otherwise paradoxical like scene.

SNAP... At that split instant, thousands of eyeballs, big and small, disturbing and normal, manifested in the room. All those eyes stared at the figure that had just entered the hall.

”Hmm? You... how were you able to find this place?”

Skarnyx questioned, his hollow eye sockets turned towards the new entrant.

”Kekeke... Greetings to you, Lord of Maniacs, Skarnyx the Twelfth Heavenly King”.

A classic jester hat with two pointy ends, diamond pattered dress, and elf shoes, the figure that appeared uninvited into his abode was a Jester-Jester. A middle ranking demon race who are known for their habit of seeking entertainment by playing the role of a clown.

Strength wise they were decent; however, intelligent wise they are at the bottom of a pyramid.

Skarnyx arched his brows, seemingly thinking about how this insignificant ant managed to enter his place.

”Speak, how did you come inside? There should be a barrier outside?”

”Kekeke” The Jester-Jester laughed and jogged in.

”That’s not important. I come in good faith. Lord of Maniacs, stop with your futile attempt to kill the Dark Knight. The wedding is a trap; if you go there, you will die a dog’s death”.

”What did you say?”

At those words, Skarnyx narrowed his eyes. Who did a mere Jester-Jester think it was to order him like that?

”I know you have been planning this for a while, and you have some trump cards prepared. However, trust me, there is a being in the capital that you cannot hope to win against. It would be good for you if you stopped with your futile attempt”.
