The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 321: Chapter 321- The Worsening Situation

The high ranking demon ran. That said, how could it be so easy to run from a man who embodied the divinity in himself?

BOOM... Like a torpedo, Reinhardt shot towards the demon, causing all the waters around the underground city to shift and forming a vacuum around him.

In the blink of an eye, he was already in front of the demon, cleaving it in half using the third light of the [Holy Blade Arts].

Dezzle, one of the high ranking demons and a subordinate of a powerful Demon General, was dead.

”Hmm, so I wasn’t able to lure them out, huh?”

Reinahrdt muttered to himself as he saw the body of the demon slowly disintegrate into nothing. The only reason why he took so long to kill the vile creature was because he wanted to lure out the mastermind or whoever was keeping an eye on this place.

That’s right, the moment Reinhardt entered the area, he could tell that something or someone was keeping an eye on him using a very powerful magic, possibly even a mutation magic.

”They shouldn’t have been able to peek much thanks to my divine presence and numerous divine traits. But still...” It left a foul taste in his mouth, seeing that he couldn’t catch this slippery loach.

After finishing off the demon, he used the [Eyes of Divine Clarity] to find any clues. It was then that he felt his shadow quivering a little.

”Master, where are you? We have a situation over here that urgently needs your presence”.

”What? Wait there, I’m coming. Do not let absolutely anyone harm Her Majesty”.

.

Back at the park, the situation that was already bad took a turn for the worse.

CLANG.. CLANG.. Exchange of blades and techniques occurred at such high speed that an ordinary eye could not even perceive the wielder. All they could see was sparks bursting forth all around the park, devastating the place until it was beyond recognition.

CLANG... finally, after a fierce push out, the two combatants who were locked in a fierce fight, separated.

Silvia took a couple of steps back to stabilise her body. Her opponent, also a high ranking knight, was forced to take dozens.

Seeing this, she furrowed her brows, looking not too happy with the result. And why would she be? It took everything she had just to hold back one knight, and she was the highest level in her squad.

Whereas, their opponents were many in numbers and with quite a few true knights. Even if Vangeance and her took two each, there was still one more knight remaining. It was a tall order for the squires to ask them to stop a level 7 knight.

This was bad, really bad. Silvia thought in her mind. The squad wasn’t powerful enough to face their current opponents. Not only was the queen in danger, but Delicia...

Kevin, Gwen, and the others glared hatefully at the opponents while holding the bloodied body of Delicia.

”Aren’t you a knight? How can you do this to someone?” Kevin shouted out in tears and rage. Their big sister like figure was stabbed. How can they not be mad?

”Heh, she was the one who came forward. Hmph, a woman who does not know her limit. Since she stood in our way, this is what she deserves,” One of the knights laughed.

The squad was so angry that veins bulged in their eyes. Delicia was simply doing her duty. That knight went after the Queen in a sneaky manner when everyone was busy fighting off the opponent.

Delicia stepped forward to block the knight going after the Queen. However, she was no match for her opponent and was quickly delivered a fatal blow.

While they did manage to heal her using the holy skills, it still enraged them that a knight would go for the kill directly. Where was their chivalry?

”Heh, no need to glare like that. You all will end like that if you continue to resist. Give up right now and let yourself be captured. Our Saint candidate has deemed you guys demon conspirers”.

At those words, Silvia and the others grit their teeth and looked at the ugly, grinning face of the goon who tried to mess with them. Their opponents were knights from the Luminous Church.

How did it come to this?

Half an hour ago...

”Heh, it looks like you do know who we are. If you know what’s better for you? Then do not resist.” The saint candidate; no, the goon spoke.

Right after saying that, he and his subordinate stepped forward. However, at that instant, the sheath of the sword came smashing at their face, drawing blood and sending them flying.

Silvia did not give a warning for the third time. She had already given them warning twice and despite that, they still ignored it and stepped forward. The scene that occurred now couldn’t be blamed on her.

”Aaahhh!!” the saint candidate rolled around in pain, his nose shattered.

While in that earlier exchange, Silvia controlled almost all of her strength; the power of a level 7 high ranking knight could be imagined. It didn’t take her any effort to break his nose.

”Kuhh! You all will regret this. Go and inform the Luminous Church that we have identified demonically possessed humans and to send a reckoning force to subdue them all”.

His subordinate immediately did as he was told and ran out of the park while bleeding from the nose. Soon, knights donned in exquisite looking armor appeared inside the park and surrounded the squad.

”They are here. Hehehe, now you’ll see who you messed with?” the saint candidate, or rather, the goon grinned and shouted to get the attention of the knights.

”Thank god you all are here. By god’s miracle, I was able to identify the demonically possessed humans. Knights quickly capture them and drag them back for questioning”.

The middle aged knight who was leading the group nodded.

”Do not worry, saint candidate, we will complete your orders”.
