The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 327: Chapter 327- Trap

The fist slowed for an extreme fraction of a second, less than even 0.01, but did not stop. BANG... it arrived before the opponent and knocked the living daylight out of them.

A disturbingly loud, stifled explosion noise rang out. Immediately after, the knight flew back like a cannonball and kept smashing into the building in the distance.

At first, it did not look like the commander suffered much injuries. However, the first technique of the [Godhand Ascendence] did not do much damage from outside but rather inserted all of the divine energy shockwave inside the body of the enemy and destroyed them from within.

The commander’s injuries were much more internal than it was external.

”C-Commander!!” the vice commander cried out and hurriedly ran to check after his commander. And just like that, the Luminous Knights, who came out strong, were destroyed after the arrival of a single man.

”HIEEKK!” Looking at the scene from a distance, the saint candidate squealed and pissed his pants. Just earlier, he locked eyes with the golden haired man, causing him to fear for his life.

Seeing the man soiling himself, Reinahrdt lost all interest in the main perpetrator of this incident. That said, he might have left him alone, feeling it beneath him to even touch that mongrel, but it did not mean that the guy was completely fine.

From the shockwave that spread from his fist earlier, the thug had suffered a lot of damage. His bones were broken, and one of his limbs twisted hideously.

In fact, the reason why he cast a wide area heal like the [Radiant Renewal]

, healing his allies and foes alike, was just to bash the latter again so that they didn’t die.
The audacity of these people to dare try to harm his people. Today, he showed the people of Aetherion what would happen if they dared to try something like this again. And yes, he dared make a scene despite the fact that one of their heroes, the Dark Knight Vaerion, was here.

Well, given that he did not claim any life, it was already the greatest mercy from him.

Seeing that the punch was thrown and there was nothing he could do, Vaerion sighed and asked about the situation from the onlookers. It was only after that did he understand the full situation.

”Let’s return,” Reinhardt spoke towards his comrades. With their fun ruined like that, he was sure that they wanted nothing more but to go back to the mansion where they are staying.

Just as the Divine Paladin and his party were getting ready to head back, the Dark Knight walked up to them.

”Your Majesty, please accept my heartfelt regret for showing such an unruly sight of the city to you. It might not be much, but as a form of apology, please come to the royal palace. I shall inform the King and Queen and give these evildoers a suitable punishment”.

”There is no need, the royal family of Aetherion is already busy tending to all the guests and state affairs. If on top of that you report the incident today, then it might affect your wedding”.

The Queen spoke. As the head of a state herself, she had a clearer understanding of what kind of issue today’s event could have created had she really been abducted and taken away forcefully by those fellows.

Thankfully, these valiant knights fought for her until her knight came back. Since she was not abducted and the perpetrators punished by Reinhardt, she didn’t want to give the crown of Aetherion a hard time, especially when they had such a celebratory environment going on.

Plus, if the news about a Queen from one of the Seven Great nations being subjected to such a reception in the capital spread, it might just stop the wedding of this valiant knight.

”Your Majesty, I cannot simply thank you enough for your magnanimity. I promise I will give you a proper answer for today’s events”.

Watching from the side, Reinahrdt fell into contemplation. The act of that goon earlier and the Luminous church selecting him as their saint candidate. Everything seemed a setup to deliberately create trouble.

Even if it was not them, with that kind of Saint candidate, the luminous church was bound to run into problems sooner or later. In fact, it looked like it was not just the luminous church, all the temples and holy places of this kingdom are being misled by the demons using false divine messages and led towards an inevitable end, without them even realising.

The demons plan on starting a holy war by spreading blasphemy and enmity among the holy places and pitting them against each other. Thus starting a war.

”Come to the mansion where we are staying when you are free. We need to talk.”

After leaving behind those few words, Reinhardt and his squad left. By the time they neared the mansion, Delicia had also awakened and was being briefed about what had happened back then after she had fainted.

In front of the mansion gate, the Queen turned to address them.

”Everyone, I want you all to keep the events that happened today to yourself”.

”Eh? We need to keep that a secret from everyone?” Kevin questioned.

”Yes, if any of you mention it, it will become an international issue, and we might not be able to stay here any longer”.

Trying to capture the Queen of a country and harming her escorts was no small matter. If this piece of news spread around, it would worsen the relationship between the two kingdoms.

The squad nodded their heads.

Later that night, Reinhardt was by the waterfalls, enjoying the peace and calm. Next to him was a round table and two chairs. He sat on one and calmly poured himself some wine.

It was then that the space behind him shook, and the Dark Knight appeared.

”Yo!” The latter called out and unceremoniously sat on the seat on the opposite end.
