The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 322: Chapter 322- The Worsening Situation (2)

”The future saint has spoken, these people are heretics and demon worshippers, purge them, fellow knights,” The leader knight spoke.

From the way he addressed the goon, it looked like the saint possessed quite a lot of influence in their church.

”Wait a minute everyone, that man is falsifying things. We are not demonically possessed humans. In fact, I am the Queen of the kingdom of Solaris, and these are my knights”.

Seeing that the situation was escalating fast and people were gathering in the distance, the Queen decided to step forward at this moment. She thought that if she revealed her identity, given her stature and reputation, the knights would back down.

However, it seemed like something was seriously wrong with these people. They were hellbent on declaring them allies of the demons.

”Shut up, woman!! I am the vice commander of the Luminous knights, you cannot fool me. Come with us to the church and get baptised. If you are really humans, then you will not resist”.

The queen and everyone made a difficult face. What kind of ridiculous condition was that? This was a forced arrest, and they are not even allowed to resist?

”Vangeane, everyone. Get ready, no matter what happens, don’t let them get near the queen. A knight must endure all kinds of ridiculous and unfair situations thrown at them. Hang on until the commander arrives,” Silvia hurriedly gave orders.

At that instant, her senses flared, and she executed a movement technique, exchanging blows with the vice commander who made the first move. This brought the situation to what it is currently.

.

The vice commander of the luminous knights, after falling back ten steps, looked at the silver haired petite girl in shock.

What kind of ridiculous speed, reflexes, and techniques did she possess? He could tell that he was definitely at a higher level than her, being a level 8 knight with a unique class. Yet he was the one who was forced back in that exchange?

Judging from her strength, it did not look like her stats were that great. In fact, it barely entered the realm of level 7 high ranking knights. So how was she so strong?

At that moment, realisation struck him and he couldn’t help but stare with wide open eyes at the girl who did not even look like she was more than eighteen years old.

”Y-You mastered more than one state of transcendence?”

There was no mistake, as a true knight who had mastered the state of [One with the Sword], he could tell that in that exchange, his techniques, feints, intents, and even his breathing, everything was being read as if the girl already knew what he was going to do beforehand.

Something like this can only be achieved when one masters the state of [Heart of the Sword]. A mystical transcendental state that allows you to read the flow of the battle, predict attacks before they are made, read intents, breath, and even the flow of the sword.

It was such an elusive realm that, once mastered, could allow you to fight even with your eyes closed. And this girl right in front of him mastered that.

”Tch, who are these people? How can demonically possessed humans possess such great power?” Although the vice commander had his misgivings, his faith in his church and the one they selected as the future saint was stronger.

”It looks like I alone ain’t enough to handle her. All of you attack. If we can pin down that girl, the rest of them aren’t much of an opponent. When someone finishes that battle, go check on that woman. It’s suspicious that she is covering her face”.

On his orders, his knights roared in affirmation.

The rest of them aren’t much? The vice commander was soon going to regret those words, as there was a beast among the ones they were attacking.

He might not be as brilliant as a certain silver haired girl who was a prodigy of a millennium. However, when it came to perseverance and tenacity, he was one of the most stubborn men ever born.

The beast roared, taking on two true knights of his level at once. Kevin, Gwen, and Rolan all took one knight in pairs. As for Delicia, the Queen was looking after her. However, there was still a large gap between those who were only squires and a knight of the luminous church.

Furthermore, they were much too young, and it showed in their battle. The opponent knight took advantage of that to break out of their encirclement and go after the weakest member of the group, the woman with the veil.

Anyone could see that she was a non combatant and the most important person these people were trying to protect. Once they get hold of her, this farce will be over instantly.

”Shit!! AHHHH” Seeing that one of the knights was going after Her Majesty again, Vangeance roared like a beast. Pushing the two knights he was facing and showing them the difference in their strength.

However, that said, the opponents he was facing were not just your any run of the mill kind but actual knights who had trained their bodies and fought on the frontlines.

Even with Vangeance’s last power up, where he mastered a little bit of the concept of the [Heart of the Sword], he was unable to immediately pull himself out of the situation.

The same was for Silvia. The last time Delicia, an experienced former knight, used her body to shield the Queen. However, this time, there was no one to stop the opponent.

Just when it looked like the Queen would be captured and the battle over, the shadow beneath the latter quivered and out from it came a black shadow that swept her leg and kicked the knight who was off guard, back.

BANG... The knight flew out and crashed into a nearby bench.

”What? There was one more of them?” The vice commander cried out in shock, and so did his knights and the saint candidate. No one expected there to be another guard escorting he woman.

”Ehhh? W-Who is she? Another enemy?”
