School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 249: Chapter 279: Caught Cheating in the Exam

The second period was a chemistry exam. Chen Nan had wanted to look over his notes for a few minutes to review, but when he opened his chemistry book, he stared at it for a long time without understanding anything, as if it were written in an alien script.

Just as he was about to ask Huo Xinya, the bell rang, signaling the start of the exam.

After the test papers were distributed, Chen Nan looked over the entire paper and came to a conclusion—

Hard, damn hard!

He recognized the words on the test paper, but he had no idea what they were talking about.

Ions, molecules, what the hell were these things?

After staring at the test paper for a few minutes, Chen Nan felt the urge to curse.

If it were English, it would be understandable if he couldn’t make sense of the words, but this was chemistry. He recognized the characters, yet he couldn’t understand what the questions meant. There was nothing more frustrating in the world.

”Who set these questions, damn it, they really suck!”

Twirling his pen, Chen Nan muttered under his breath, and as a result, the classmates in the classroom glanced at him, secretly giving Chen Nan thumbs-ups.

Because the proctor in the classroom was a chemistry teacher, and he definitely had a hand in setting this paper. Chen Nan’s comment was essentially cursing the proctor to his face.

After randomly filling in the multiple-choice questions, Chen Nan glanced at the proctor’s pale face on the podium.

”Teacher, can I hand in my paper now?”

The proctor’s face darkened even more. Having just been insulted by this student was one thing, but this guy wanting to hand in his paper as soon as the exam started was just too much, ”No, you can only hand in your paper after half an hour into the exam.”

Chen Nan was speechless and had no choice but to lay his head on the desk and rest.

Sitting behind him, Han Yuting looked at Chen Nan’s back with a strange expression. Wasn’t this the same Chen Nan from class nine who was so good at basketball? How could his academic performance be so poor that he wanted to hand in a blank paper?

On the other hand, Huo Xinya, who had been seriously doing her work, couldn’t help but glare at Chen Nan, but unfortunately, Chen Nan was already asleep and didn’t see her look.

Seeing Chen Nan lying motionless on the desk, Huo Xinya stomped her small foot in annoyance, genuinely feeling the disappointment of him not living up to expectations. This guy had handed in his papers early last time, and now he was thinking about doing it again; did he really want to score zero?

Tearing off a small piece of paper, Huo Xinya wrote something and flicked it at him.

”Ssst...”

Feeling something hit his head suddenly, Chen Nan quickly sat up, pinching Huo Xinya’s note in his hand.

”You lazy pig, get serious and work on the questions, no sleeping!”

Seeing this, Chen Nan was disappointed; he had thought Huo Xinya was tossing over some answers, but this was what he got.

The greater the hope, the greater the disappointment!

”I can’t understand these questions at all! My dear little aunt, dear Huo Xinya, give me some answers,” Chen Nan wrote down a message and flicked the note back.

Huo Xinya’s expression went cold. This guy still hadn’t learned his lesson and was still asking for answers!

Turning her head to give Chen Nan a big eye-roll, Huo Xinya couldn’t even be bothered to reply and simply buried her head back in her papers.

Chen Nan was really depressed. If he slept, Huo Xinya was unhappy, but if he stayed awake, he couldn’t answer the questions at all. Pondering for a while, he took out a pencil and started doodling on scratch paper to pass the time.

The painting depicted a person, to be precise, a woman, a very beautiful woman.

Chen Nan worked from top to bottom, meticulously drawing her. One couldn’t help but admit that his skills were impressive. Despite it being just a pencil sketch, the expression on the woman’s face in the drawing, every stroke and line, was exquisitely lifelike, clearly depicting Lan Yuqin.

...

Lan Yuqin didn’t have to invigilate the second exam, so she patrolled outside the classrooms, checking if her students were diligently solving their questions.

When she arrived outside the classroom where Chen Nan was, she frowned.

Watching Chen Nan, who was sitting in the second row, continuously moving his pencil on the paper as if he was drawing. Why wasn’t this guy focusing on his exam and instead doodling?

Lan Yuqin slipped through the back door of the classroom, her steps light, and slowly made her way behind Chen Nan to glimpse at his drawing.

Lan Yuqin’s expression turned cold.

She clenched her teeth and her fists, and the temperature in the entire classroom seemed to drop.

Seeing the beautiful teacher’s face turn livid and her body shake, the other students in the classroom were puzzled, wondering what atrocious thing this guy had done to make the beautiful teacher so furious.

However, Chen Nan was so engrossed in his drawing that he completely ignored his surroundings, continuously drawing, his attention fastened seriously on his work.

”Hehe...”

Chen Nan let out a cheeky chuckle, which made Lan Yuqin behind him want to slap him right there.

What kind of atrocious student was this!

Seeing Lan Yuqin’s expression growing uglier by the minute, the other students in the classroom felt a chill on Chen Nan’s behalf, their minds filled with curiosity about what exactly he was writing on the paper.

If it were not during an exam, these students would definitely have rushed over to see for themselves.

”The drawing is really good!”

Putting down his pencil, Chen Nan couldn’t help but exclaim. But just then, a sudden pain shot through his ear as if someone had pinched it, followed by a familiar fragrance wafting into his nose, making Chen Nan shudder and quickly turn his head to look behind.

”Lan... Miss Lan, why are you here?”

With a guilty expression on his face, Chen Nan hurriedly reached to hide the drawing, but by then, Lan Yuqin had already snatched it from him.

”Come to my office after the exam is over!”

Lan Yuqin glared at him coldly and walked out of the classroom with the drawing in her hand.

Watching Lan Yuqin’s figure disappear around the corner, Chen Nan’s face turned ashen, and he was on the verge of tears.

Huo Xinya didn’t give him the answers, and now, while idly passing time by drawing, how come he was caught red-handed by Lan Yuqin!

Damn my hands, why did I even draw her?

Chen Nan truly wanted to smack himself a few times. Knowing so many women, why did he choose to draw this she-devil!

Rubbing his ear that Lan Yuqin had painfully pinched, Chen Nan was immensely dejected. Just thinking about having to go to Lan Yuqin’s office after the exam was over made him lose all desire to do his paper, let alone sleep. He was doomed!
