School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 228: Chapter 258: Battle with Qin Yixuan

Without a doubt, Qin Yixuan was interested in Chen Nan’s Combat Power, so she wanted to take the opportunity to subdue him. After all, in her view, Chen Nan’s driving skills were like those of a rookie who couldn’t even pass the driving test, nowhere near her level!

”Don’t worry, you’ll never achieve that wish,” Chen Nan said with a smile.

Qin Yixuan, full of disdain, said, ”Win against me, then you can boast!”

Chen Nan smiled faintly.

It must be said, Qin Yixuan’s skills were really not bad. She covered a twenty-kilometer distance in five minutes and fifty-eight seconds. That is, her average speed was basically two hundred kilometers per hour.

Achieving such a result on these twisty roads is not something many could manage.

After stopping the car, Qin Yixuan, with a smile, glanced at Chen Nan and said, ”So, what will it be? Surrender straight away, or struggle in vain?”

”Don’t get too happy too soon. Get ready to become my slave,” Chen Nan said lightly, then got out of the car and switched places with Qin Yixuan.

”Big talk for someone who might not have the skills,” Qin Yixuan said with pride.

”Let’s just try then,”

Talking nonchalantly, Chen Nan turned the steering wheel sharply, then stomped on the accelerator. There was a screeching friction sound between the rear wheels and the ground, and the car body swung around on the spot, making a U-turn.

For a moment, Qin Yixuan was dumbstruck, patting her chin before she could finally close her mouth.

The maneuver Chen Nan pulled off seemed simple but was actually very difficult to execute.

This guy isn’t supposed to be a rookie without even a driving license, right? How come he doesn’t seem like it now!

Qin Yixuan felt uncertain, murmuring to herself, ”If it really comes to it, I’ll have to use my trump card. Although it’s a bit underhanded, there’s no other way right now. I must make him my slave one way or another!”

Having made up her mind, Qin Yixuan hurriedly took out her mobile phone and typed furiously, sending a message. Then she sneakily glanced at Chen Nan and a sly smile appeared on her lips.

”That sneaky smile, do you have some kind of plot?”

As Chen Nan revved the engine to start, he glanced at Qin Yixuan.

A bit unnerved, Qin Yixuan quickly shook her head and said, ”Nonsense, how could that be! I fight fairly and would never resort to plotting against you.”

Chen Nan chuckled and said, ”By the way, about that assassin we caught the other day, did you ever ask why he was trying to steal my painting?”

Excited that Chen Nan was discussing this while keeping the car’s speed under one hundred, Qin Yixuan eagerly responded, ”I asked. That guy is a professional assassin, someone paid him to get the painting and take Yang Wu’s life, but he refused to reveal who the buyer was.”

Frowning, Chen Nan said, ”Take me to see him later, I must interrogate him to find out who wants that painting.”

”It’s too late now,” Qin Yixuan said, shaking her head. ”That assassin, on the second day after we caught him, had already died. According to the forensic examiner, he died of poisoning.”

”It seems that whoever was behind him feared he might talk, so they silenced him,”

Shaking her head, Qin Yixuan said, ”But, we were watching him very closely, and no one went to see him. Even the food he ate was checked; it was not poisoned. I still don’t understand how he was poisoned.”

”A true master of poisoning doesn’t care how closely you watch,” Chen Nan said with a smile.

Looking at him, Qin Yixuan nodded and said, ”That’s true, someone like you has such skills.”

Chen Nan laughed, then glanced at the road ahead and said, ”Alright, three minutes left, enough chit-chat, otherwise I’ll really lose to you.” After saying that, Chen Nan eased off the accelerator as the transmission downshifted, then suddenly stomped heavily on the pedal.

Instantly, the engine roared like thunder, and the speed of the car surged dramatically.

Going through the curve, Chen Nan kept his foot on the pedal, threw the steering wheel, and shifted the whole weight of the car forward. The rear tires, having much less grip than the front, made a screeching noise. The car drifted through the curve at accelerated speed.

After passing the curve, since Chen Nan did not lift his foot off the pedal, the speedometer needle kept rising.

Two hundred fifty!

Two hundred seventy!

Two hundred ninety!

Seeing the needle head straight for three hundred, Qin Yixuan couldn’t stay calm, ”You’re driving so fast, are you out of your mind!?”

Even in such a situation, Chen Nan had the leisure to turn his head and show her a smile, saying, ”No worries, this isn’t even that fast. Last time I drove a 458, I got it up to three hundred sixty!”

Qin Yixuan quickly checked if her seatbelt was securely fastened and shouted at Chen Nan, ”I don’t care, I’m warning you, slow down a bit, or if something happens, you’re dead!”

Laughing, Chen Nan said, ”Are you afraid of becoming my slave if I win?”

In a hurry, Qin Yixuan said, ”Nonsense, I’m not afraid of you, I just don’t trust your skills. I value my life, hey, can you slow down now? It’s already three hundred one!”

Chen Nan chuckled and shook his head, saying, ”It’s just three hundred one, why the rush? The official data for this car says the top speed is three hundred two, but looking at it now, I guess running up to three hundred seventy wouldn’t be a problem.”
