School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 211: Chapter 236 Going Out for Fun

Watching Chen Nan and Su Qingqing, although they were merely tutoring English instead of whispering sweet nothings, Huo Xinya couldn’t help feeling sour at heart, sitting there without any interest in reading.

It wasn’t until the class bell rang and Lan Yuqin walked into the classroom that she snapped back from those messy thoughts.

The last class of each day was always a self-study session.

Under normal circumstances, students would study on their own and teachers seldom came to the classroom. However, Lan Yuqin was a more responsible teacher than others. Unlike other class advisors, she would almost always come and keep watch during the last class every day.

Stepping onto the podium, Lan Yuqin wore a smile on her face. When her gaze swept over Chen Nan, she couldn’t help but look away, smiling at the class and asking, ”One good news, one bad news, which do you want to hear first?”

As soon as they heard there was good news, many students immediately called out excitedly, ”Of course the good news first!”

Chen Nan was also somewhat puzzled, looking curiously at Lan Yuqin. With such a heavy study load in senior year, what good news could there possibly be?

Clearing her throat, Lan Yuqin said, ”Tomorrow is National Day, and a seven-day holiday is already the norm, so I don’t need to elaborate on that. But considering that you all will be taking the college entrance exam next year, I thought of organizing an activity during the holiday to help everyone relieve some stress. Would everyone be willing to participate?”

”What activity?”

”Where are we going?”

”Definitely willing. Whoever isn’t willing is a fool!”

The whole class erupted like a pack of wolves, each of them howling with excitement, barely able to contain their enthusiasm.

Especially the boys – who wouldn’t want to join an activity organized by the beautiful class advisor? Some, getting too excited, even banged on their desks and stood up on their chairs shouting.

”Quiet, quiet, other classes are still in session!” Lan Yuqin said with a wry smile. ”I’ve been thinking, picnics and the like are outdated, and there aren’t many particularly fun places nearby. Only the seaside of the neighboring city is somewhat decent. Would anyone have objections to going to the beach?”

”No way!”

”Absolutely not!”

”Whoever objects, I’ll have a bone to pick with them!”

”...”

Hearing the students’ unanimous agreement with her suggestion, Lan Yuqin was also very pleased, nodding in satisfaction. ”However, let me make it clear beforehand, once we’re at the beach, everyone must follow my commands and not wander off from the group. Especially when swimming, you must never swim outside the safe area marked by the buoys. Understand?”

”Understood!”

”Anyone who doesn’t is an idiot.”

Everyone was seventeen or eighteen years old (well, except for Chen Nan.), full of youthful vigor. They didn’t have the slightest objection as long as they could take part in the activity. Especially imagining the moment when the beautiful class advisor and the girls would be in swimsuits, their blood raced with excitement!

Even though they might not follow orders when the time came, they had to agree enthusiastically for now.

”Everyone calm down. If you keep making noise, I won’t take you there,” Lan Yuqin said with a smile. ”The excursion is tentatively set for two days. But because it’s the National Day holiday and many people will be traveling, seaside hotels will have been booked well in advance. If we want to stay overnight at the beach, we’ll likely have to camp in tents. Is anyone afraid?”

For the teenage seniors, camping was an experience they had almost never had.

For them, this first-time experience promised excitement!

The boys had no objections, and although a few girls seemed a bit scared, they weren’t too worried with so many classmates around.

Seeing that no one objected, Lan Yuqin continued, ”Since this is an activity we’re organizing ourselves, the school won’t reimburse the expenses. Everyone should first contribute one hundred yuan to the class representative. After the activity, if there’s any money left, it will be returned to you, and if there’s a shortfall, I will cover it. How does that sound?”

”Sounds good!”

”Teacher, you’re my idol!”

Lan Yuqin laughed and nodded, saying, ”Since nobody has any objections, then it’s settled. Let’s meet at the school gate at 7 a.m. tomorrow. Whoever is late will face a punishment.”

”Is there a reward for those who arrive early?” Zhu Bajie suddenly yelled out.

”Of course.”

”What is it?”

All the boys were visibly excited. If the reward was a kiss from their beautiful class teacher, they would even get up in the middle of the night!

However, the thought was so unrealistic...

”The reward...” Lan Yuqin smiled mysteriously, deliberately whetting everyone’s appetite. She said, ”It’s a very generous reward, which is a bottle of mineral water.”

The boys, who had been eagerly expecting the beautiful class teacher’s kiss, felt as if their hopes had been shattered to the ground, almost collapsing on the spot.

”Okay, back to the main topic.”

Lan Yuqin gestured for everyone to be quiet and said, ”I’ve shared the good news, and now, for you guys, comes the bad news. After the National Day holiday, on October 8th, there will be a preliminary exam for the senior year, so don’t slack off during the holidays. Make sure you revise your lessons thoroughly.”

A collective sigh of despair filled the classroom.

Senior year was never short of exams, but they were usually minor ones. A preliminary exam, however, was more formal, and there would even be rankings for the entire grade. This was precisely why students with lower scores were distressed.

It wasn’t so bad for those with high rankings, but for those at the bottom, it was somewhat embarrassing. Not to mention, having no confidence in pursuing the school beauty was an added stress...

”Idiot, you’re doomed.” Su Qingqing, with a face full of schadenfreude, patted Chen Nan’s arm, teasing, ”We only have six subjects in total; you’re not going to score zeros in all of them, are you? If that happens, you’ll really become an idiot, haha...”

Watching her smug grin, Chen Nan felt helpless. ”Do you really enjoy making fun of me that much?”

”Of course, I love seeing you embarrassed the most.” Su Qingqing showed her white teeth, laughing happily.

Chen Nan was exasperated. ”Is there anyone as despicable as you, my cousin?”

”Hehe, I’ve been despicable for more than just a day or two. Are you just noticing now?”

Chen Nan was utterly defeated. This damn girl was invincible!

Glaring, Chen Nan scolded, ”You’re not ashamed of being despicable; instead, you take pride in it! What on earth have you been reading?”

”You got a problem with that?”

”Absolutely!”

”Your objection is noted.” Su Qingqing said with pride, ”You’re my cousin, and cousins are there to be bullied.”

”What kind of twisted logic is that?”

”Stinky cousin, you cursed again!”

Su Qingqing looked at him indignantly, while feeling secretly proud inside. Having a cousin to tease was such a great feeling!

”...”

Chen Nan was speechless. Finally getting her to call him cousin, she had to prefix it with ’stinky’. It was a good thing she wasn’t his real cousin, otherwise, it would be truly frustrating.

Such an annoying cousin was unbearable!
