School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 243: Chapter 272: The Whereabouts of the White Jade Lotus Platform

The Su sisters were speaking outside, thinking that Chen Nan couldn’t hear them, but in reality, Chen Nan heard everything.

It wasn’t that he intentionally eavesdropped; rather, his hearing was just that good.

In his heart, Chen Nan finally accepted something he had always been reluctant to admit—Su Qingqing had truly fallen in love with him. This lively, somewhat cute, and slightly willful girl had genuinely developed feelings.

She would rather hurt herself than reveal to me the location of the White Jade Lotus Platform. How should I treat her in the future?

Chen Nan felt a tug of inner conflict.

Although he felt happy whenever he was with Su Qingqing, even when she was ”exploiting” him, he didn’t think he liked Su Qingqing because his heart was devoted to his younger martial sister. Love was supposed to be one-on-one; how could he possibly like two people at the same time?

Chen Nan’s mind was a mess.

The younger martial sister was willing to risk her life for him, and he also loved her deeply in his heart; he certainly couldn’t let her down. Yet now, Su Qingqing had also irretrievably fallen in love with him, and this stubborn girl had even hurt herself to help him...

The more Chen Nan thought about it, the more confused he became.

He wished he could be with his younger martial sister without hurting Su Qingqing. But it seemed difficult to find such a solution at the moment...

While Chen Nan was unsure of what to do, the Su sisters walked into the room.

Glancing at Chen Nan, Su Yixuan smiled and approached him, saying, ”You mentioned the White Jade Lotus Platform, I saw it when I was young at my grandfather’s house.”

”Your grandfather?”

Chen Nan frowned slightly.

He realized that the Su family’s ancestors were not descendants of the Saintess; instead, it was her grandfather who was a descendant of the Immortal Spirit Saintess.

Su Yixuan nodded and said, ”That White Jade Lotus Platform is indeed a family heirloom of my grandfather’s. It shouldn’t be difficult for me to borrow it; however, it will take a few more days. My grandparents have gone abroad for a trip and won’t be back for a few more days.”

Chen Nan nodded, ”If Sister Yixuan can do me this great favor, I will be endlessly grateful.”

”It’s nothing,” Su Yixuan said with a light smile, ”It’s a simple effort, don’t worry about it, especially since you’re my lifesaver.”

Chen Nan scratched his head and chuckled.

”What are you laughing at? You haven’t slept for two days; aren’t you going to bed?” Su Yixuan laughed.

”Then I’ll go to sleep for a while.”

Chen Nan smiled and turned to leave Su Yixuan’s room.

After returning to his own room, Chen Nan felt tired, but laying in bed, he couldn’t fall asleep for a long time as he pondered how he could avoid hurting Su Qingqing.

As he thought, he gradually drifted off to sleep unknowingly.

Chen Nan slept straight from morning until the evening and still had not awakened.

”Click...”

Suddenly a light sound was heard as Chen Nan’s room door was pushed open.

”Dummy, are you awake?”

Su Qingqing called out softly, and finding no response, she tiptoed inside.

After sitting down by the bed, she gazed at the deeply sleeping Chen Nan, and her heartbeat began to quicken.

”No wonder the little fool says he’s handsome; he really is quite handsome.”

After staring at Chen Nan for a while, Su Qingqing’s head unconsciously moved closer to him, and her mind was filled with messy thoughts. She mulled over to herself, Since I like him so much, there’s no one else around, and he’s asleep, should I do something?

Like... secretly kiss him?

Don’t couples usually kiss all the time? What does it even feel like?

As Su Qingqing thought chaotically, her heart ”thumped” noisily, each beat reaching her throat.

Would it be utterly shameless of me to take advantage of him like this?

Su Qingqing touched her flushed cheeks, curious about what it would feel like to kiss someone she liked.

This is such a good opportunity. If I don’t kiss him now, will I regret it later? A secret kiss would surely be thrilling... maybe I should just do it? Just once!

As she thought this to herself, Su Qingqing felt a surge of excitement, her cheeks turning redder and hotter than ever before.

Silly boy, please don’t blame me for taking advantage of you. I just want to know what it feels like to kiss the person I like. As Su Qingqing thought this to herself, her heartbeat quickened, and her body slowly leaned towards the bed, nearing Chen Nan’s lips.

When she was just an inch away from Chen Nan’s lips, Su Qingqing stopped.

She now felt her heart shaking her whole body with each beat. She thought to herself, It’s okay to be curious about kissing, but isn’t this way too disgraceful?

No, I can’t do this. I absolutely can’t be this despicable!

Even if I wait for him to wake up, I shouldn’t take advantage of him like this!

Inside, Su Qingqing firmly decided it would be better to either kiss him forcefully later or let him initiate it.

After making up her mind, Su Qingqing was about to lift her head, but before she could, at that critical moment, she saw Chen Nan’s eyelids twitch and then his eyes opened.

In an instant, Su Qingqing’s mind buzzed, everything going blank.

Chen Nan was also stunned, his gaze fixed on Su Qingqing as their eyes met.

Both of them looked at each other, like a loving couple sparking joy; so close, yet not feeling awkward at all.

Of course, it wasn’t because their relationship had reached a stage where they were inseparable; rather, their minds had stopped working, and there were no thoughts at that moment.

”Qingqing, what... what were you doing?”

Chen Nan stared at Su Qingqing’s eyes, his mind struggling to make sense of it all.

Hearing Chen Nan speak, Su Qingqing suddenly shivered, her entire body trembling, before she hurriedly lifted her head, straightened her body, and turned her head aside, her cheeks a striking shade of red.

”I... that... I... silly, don’t think nonsense, I definitely wasn’t trying to take advantage of you, I was...” Su Qingqing stammered, unable to form a coherent explanation, which only made Chen Nan suspect there was more to the story.

This cheeky girl, trying to steal a kiss while I was sleeping!

Chen Nan thought to himself, his expression revealing his understanding as he chuckled, ”I know, I know it all.”

Seeing Chen Nan’s teasing expression, Su Qingqing almost felt like banging her head against a wall, lamenting in her heart: Oh my God, what is he thinking? He couldn’t possibly think I was about to do that... Oh God, how will I show my face in the future!

All because of my silly brain, giving rise to such wicked thoughts.

”I really wasn’t trying to steal a kiss!”

Su Qingqing felt her explanation was so frail and feeble. She silently pinched her thigh as a self-punishment, thinking that she must not be so disgraceful in the future.
