School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 215: Chapter 240 Huo Xinya Also Mischievous

Jiang Xiaomi nodded. ”Yeah, isn’t that a surprise?”

”Sis, that’s more like a fright, okay?”

Chen Nan didn’t know what to say to her. Going out for fun was supposed to be a good thing, but now it seemed like it was going to be torture for him. ”Mimi, can you promise me one thing?”

”Sure, just say the word. I’ll follow your lead.”

Chen Nan broke out in a cold sweat!

This Jiang Xiaomi really was something, even bringing up ’husband sings, wife follows’.

Shaking his head, Chen Nan said, ”When we’re with everyone later, don’t act too close to me, okay?”

”No big deal, I’ll listen to you,” Jiang Xiaomi said, patting her chest. ”I know, you’re afraid Huo Xinya will get jealous, right? Don’t worry, I’ll restrain myself when she’s around. I’m the mistress after all, I should have the awareness of being one.”

Awareness of being a mistress...

Hearing this, Chen Nan felt a bit awkward, as if he were some kind of a heartthrob.

Even though there wasn’t that kind of relationship between him and Huo Xinya, Chen Nan didn’t explain because once he cleared things up, Jiang Xiaomi would become even more unrestrained, no longer having the awareness of a mistress...

At that moment, Chen Nan saw several familiar figures approaching and quickly said, ”Huo Xinya is coming. I better stop talking to you.”

”Sure, go ahead, my good husband.”

Just as Chen Nan took two steps away, hearing this made him stagger, nearly falling to the ground. He hastily sped up and walked away.

”Big bro, we just got here and saw you flirting with Sister Mi. Aren’t you afraid your wife will get jealous?” Zhu Bajie and Zhang Jiangyi came over with mischievous grins on their faces.

”Jealous my ass.”

Zhu Bajie chuckled and asked, ”So, what do you guys think we should bring to eat?”

”I think we should make a run to the market. Chicken, duck, fish, meat - we can’t miss any of it. We’ll barbecue them at the beach,” Zhang Jiangyi suggested.

Zhu Bajie, the fatso, almost drooled at the thought. ”Right, right, right, we should definitely bring more. What do you think, bro?”

”You guys are so materialistic,” Chen Nan sighed. ”We’re going to the beach. Are we going to be short of things to eat?”

The two guys stared blankly, puzzled. ”What do you mean?”

Chen Nan pointed to the sky, then to the ground, and said, ”Everything that flies in the sky and swims in the water, we can eat. We’ll just catch and barbecue them ourselves!”

The two guys were dumbfounded.

After a long while, Zhang Jiangyi said with a sullen face, ”Bro, when I hear you talk, it’s like I’m seeing birds swim in the water and fish fly in the sky. It’s so unrealistic.”

Chen Nan simply gave him the finger. ”If you believe me, go to the supermarket and buy some salt and seasonings. You don’t need anything else. If you don’t, then go ahead and pack up a bunch of food to bring.”

The two guys looked at each other and then nodded, ”Let’s go, while we still have time, let’s hurry to buy some seasonings.”

At that moment, the male students around made a commotion, Lan Yuqin had arrived.

Looking up, Chen Nan was also startled. Today’s Lan Yuqin looked different than usual.

She wore casual clothes and flat shoes, with a height of about 168 cm, making many boys in the class feel inferior.

”Good morning, everyone!”

Lan Yuqin waved and greeted from more than ten meters away.

Facing such a beautiful teacher, the boys in the class howled like wolves.

Compared to Lan Yuqin, all the beauties in the class seemed to pale. It’s not that they weren’t as pretty as Lan Yuqin, it’s that they were too young and didn’t have Lan Yuqin’s charming femininity.

”Googly-eyed, huh? Your eyeballs are about to fall out,” suddenly a voice came, waking Chen Nan up. He turned his head to see Huo Xinya glaring at him with displeasure.

Chen Nan scratched his head and smiled, ”She does look pretty good.”

”Staring at your own teacher with those lecherous eyes, aren’t you ashamed? I’m embarrassed for you,” Huo Xinya said with contempt.

Chen Nan shook his head and sighed, ”You wouldn’t understand. This is appreciation of beauty, not lust.”

”Sophistry. It’s all the same,” she dismissed.

”How can it be the same?” Chen Nan said with a grin, ”Appreciation is pure admiration, while lust is a desire within the heart, a very strong urge to possess. You’re so young, yet your mind is so corrupt. You insist on interpreting my appreciation as lechery.”

”It’s clearly your fault. Why are you lecturing me instead?”

”Well, yes!” Chen Nan laughed. ”As the ancients said, it’s aesthetics for a man to like beauties, but it’s lechery for a woman to like handsome men.”

Huo Xinya was overwhelmed. She seriously doubted whether arguing with this guy would drive her crazy.

”Here, this is for you to take care of!”

Huo Xinya took her bag and hung it on Chen Nan’s shoulder.

Chen Nan looked down at his shoulders; on one side was Su Qingqing’s bag, the other was Huo Xinya’s. ”Why do I have to carry them?”

”If you can carry Qingqing’s bag, can’t you carry mine?” Huo Xinya stuck her tongue out at him and walked away, leaving Chen Nan confused for a while. The sun didn’t rise from the west today, did it? Since when did this girl start acting cute?

Chen Nan’s frustration was understood by him alone. Beauties are bullies!

The boys in the class, seeing Chen Nan’s sulky face, all gave him the finger as a sign of contempt, scolding him for not knowing how blessed he was, surrounded by school beauties and still not happy. Was there anyone sillier than him in this world?

No wonder Su Qingqing called him a fool!

The lads in the class silently nodded, finally understanding the meaning of that nickname. This guy wasn’t just ordinarily stupid - he was really, really stupid, fool to the extreme!

A bus then slowly arrived, stopping outside the school gate.

Lan Yuqin lined up and counted the number of students before organizing everyone to get on the bus. Su Qingqing and Liu Tiantian hurried onto the bus, giggling, while Huo Xinya, as the class leader, followed Lan Yuqin and didn’t rush to get on.

The crowd at the school gate gradually thinned out, and just as Jiang Xiaomi was about to board the bus, Huo Xinya’s expression suddenly changed.

She’s here too?

A sense of crisis spread in her heart. Huo Xinya clenched her teeth thinking she definitely came to steal Chen Nan away; she must stop her!
