School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 221: Chapter 246 Jiang Xiaomi VS Huo Xinya

Zhu Bajie had long grown accustomed to being forcefully kissed by Jiang Xiaomi.

She was now wearing a swimsuit, and as Chen Nan’s fingers gently slid over her back, he only felt smoothness and finesse, making her skin very delicate to the touch.

After a bout of kissing underwater, and just when they were severely short of oxygen, Jiang Xiaomi let go and surfaced.

”Kissing you balances me out,” Jiang Xiaomi said proudly, swimming towards the shallower area.

”You’re such a flirt.”

Chen Nan smiled wryly and shook his head, then swam over as well.

...

Around four in the afternoon, the tide began to recede, and the previously swimmable area suddenly turned into a beach, astounding those who had never seen the sea before with nature’s magic.

The receding tide meant it was time to scavenge the beach, but this particular beach was not the best place for that.

Lan Yuqin had played here before and was quite familiar with the area. She led everyone on a twenty-minute walk to a muddy tidal flat, which had no golden sand, only black mud.

”Comrades, this is the place to scour the sea. Whatever you want for dinner, just grab it. This mud and puddle are filled with goodies,” Lan Yuqin pointed to the muddy flat and said with a smile.

At this, all the classmates cheered and couldn’t wait to rush toward the mud flat.

Especially Zhu Bajie, who, wearing just his underwear, rushed towards the mud flat with his chubby body swaying. He accidentally stepped into a deeper mud pit and fell face-first into the mud, causing all his classmates to burst into laughter.

”Damn, what the hell is this? It hurts like hell!”

Zhu Bajie jumped up, cursing as he did. He saw a fist-sized crab clasping onto his face, swinging left and right as he shook his head, causing him severe pain. He hurriedly reached for his face, and the crab perfectly pinched onto his fingers.

”Damn!”

Zhu Bajie yelped in pain, desperately flinging his hand to throw the crab off. Coincidentally, the crab flew towards Lan Yuqin, landing right on top of her head and turning her face pale with fright. She quickly called to Chen Nan, who was closest to her, ”Quick, get it off!”

Watching the crab waving its claws and crawling on top of Lan Yuqin’s head, Chen Nan almost burst out laughing.

”Teacher, where did you buy this hair clip? It looks so much like a crab. It’s so stylish!” Chen Nan walked over, laughing as he spoke, which made the other classmates laugh uncontrollably as well.

”Stop talking nonsense and just get it off of me. Do you want to scare me to death?”

Lan Yuqin glanced at her forehead, unable to see the crab there, which made her heart race and skin crawl in fear that the crab might suddenly pinch her.

Chen Nan walked over and easily grabbed the crab’s shell.

”Teacher, it seems to have grabbed onto your hair, about a dozen strands. Do you have scissors on you?”

Lan Yuqin shook her head gently, ”No, just pull it out.”

”Alright then!”

Chen Nan grabbed the crab and yanked it hard, pulling up more than a dozen of Lan Yuqin’s hairs, causing her to scream in pain, ”Why did you pull so hard? It hurts like hell!”

Chen Nan tossed the crab into a bamboo basket, shrugged innocently, ”You asked me to pull it.”

Hearing this, Lan Yuqin glared, but was helpless.

Meanwhile, Huo Xinya, holding a bamboo basket, swiftly grabbed crabs and lobsters with quick, accurate movements, catching one after another and skillfully avoiding their pinching claws.

Jiang Xiaomi stared in astonishment and rubbed her eyes with envy in her heart.

Watching her rival’s bamboo basket fill with more than twenty crabs, along with lobsters and fish, while her own basket held only two crabs...

”I definitely cannot lose to her!”

Jiang Xiaomi gritted her teeth and muttered, ”It’s no big deal, I can do it too!” Then, she tried to emulate Huo Xinya and reached for a large crab, but—

”Ouch! It hurts so much!”

Jiang Xiaomi yelped in pain and hurriedly shook her hand. After several attempts, the crab simply wouldn’t let go, clamping on even tighter.

”Naïve!”

Huo Xinya gave her a provocative glance and continued catching crabs.

Ordinarily, she wasn’t someone who would fight over things, but Jiang Xiaomi was after Chen Nan, which really annoyed her, hence the retaliation.

It took Jiang Xiaomi a great effort to finally shake off the crab, and she glared at Huo Xinya furiously. ”Did you just call me naïve?”

”You are naïve,” Huo Xinya said in an indifferent tone.

”What’s so great about catching crabs? If you’re capable, why don’t you fight me one-on-one!” Jiang Xiaomi waved her fists as she spoke.

”Naïve!”

Huo Xinya kept it short with just two words. As someone who practiced martial arts, she could easily knock Jiang Xiaomi down with a single move.

Jiang Xiaomi was so enraged that she almost lunged at Huo Xinya, hissing, ”It’s just catching crabs, I don’t believe I can’t beat you!” While speaking, she spotted a large crab in front of Huo Xinya and quickly reached her hand out before her—

Yet, she didn’t dare to actually grab it.

The pinch from the previous crab had scared her, and considering the claws of these large crabs, it wasn’t a joke. Her fingers were still bruised!

”Coward.”

Huo Xinya scoffed and easily pinched the large crab, placing it into her basket.

Jiang Xiaomi glared with indignation, but was powerless to do anything.

She couldn’t understand why Huo Xinya wasn’t afraid of the crabs. Logically, Huo Xinya wasn’t a fighter or a tomboy; she just focused on her studies. So how could her moves be so quick and precise?

Jiang Xiaomi felt utterly frustrated. She had thought about calling Chen Nan for help, but then she remembered, Huo Xinya was the legitimate partner, while she was only the mistress. If Chen Nan ended up helping, it would just make Huo Xinya look better.

Glancing around, Jiang Xiaomi shouted, ”Zhu Bajie, come here!”

”What’s up, Xiaomi?”

”Help me catch crabs, and make sure you catch more than her!” Jiang Xiaomi said, pointing at Huo Xinya.

Zhu Bajie’s head shook like a rattle—”No way, no way, I can’t catch better than the class president!”

He was well aware of Huo Xinya’s martial arts skills. Although he had also learned some basics from Chen Nan, he was still a novice, not even having developed his Inner Strength yet, and couldn’t compare with Huo Xinya.

”I don’t care, you’re catching with me, and I refuse to believe we can’t catch more than her!”

Jiang Xiaomi looked challengingly at Huo Xinya, only to provoke another disdainful look and those same infuriating words from her mouth: ”Naïve.”
