King of the Wilderness

Chapter 489: Chapter 271: Three Days’ Earnings

Her longing isn’t about the wonders, but about the origins of memories and emotions.

Lin Yu’an listened to their plans, his smile gentle and content.

”Alright, everything is good,” he whispered, ”Denali, Kenai Peninsula... All the beautiful places in Alaska, we will fly over them one by one.”

He paused, his tone suddenly becoming serious: ”But before planning these flights, I have a more important plan. I want to discuss it with you.”

Seeing his solemn expression, both women quietly calmed down.

Lin Yu’an took a deep breath and slowly said, ”I think... It’s time to consider moving out of Alaska.”

This sentence was like a stone thrown into the calm lake surface, leaving Aliya and Emily stunned.

”Leave?” Aliya was somewhat disbelieving, ”Leave here? Why? Don’t you love life here the most?”

Lin Yu’an looked at them, his eyes full of affection and a hint of guilt.

He admitted, ”Yes, I love it. I love the primitiveness, the tranquility, and the challenges here. But I also know that this kind of life is too hard for you.”

He held Aliya’s hand, her knuckles already calloused from chopping wood and doing chores.

He then looked at Emily, recalling her browsing those fashion websites multiple times, only to helplessly choose ordinary clothes that could be mailed to this remote town.

”Life here is still too far from civilization,” his voice became very soft, ”Shopping is inconvenient, social life is almost nonexistent. Most importantly...”

He looked at Aliya and said softly, ”Aliya, I know you miss your parents. I don’t want them to have to cross half of the United States every time to see their daughter.”

He turned to Emily, ”Amy, I know you love design, love art, love raising little fish, and love those beautiful, exquisite things.”

”You should live near a city where you can see the latest art exhibitions, visit boutique shops, and have afternoon tea anytime, rather than here, where your hobbies and aesthetics are buried by the wilderness.”

These words, like a warm current, instantly hit the softest spot in the hearts of the two women.

They had never complained, but their hardships and sacrifices were all seen and remembered by him.

Lin Yu’an laid out his plan, ”So, my idea is, once the GME war ends, we’ll use that money to buy a truly big farm in the United States.”

”A farm with mountains, lakes, and forests where we can continue to experience the joys of the wilderness but still be close to the city and convenient to live.”

”We can grow our own organic vegetables, raise a herd of cattle and sheep, have a huge studio for Emily, and most importantly, Aliya can see her family just by driving.”

”As for this home in Alaska.”

He looked around at the cabin filled with their memories, ”We can treat it as our vacation house, come back every summer to live for a while, enjoy the midnight sun and fishing.”

”Or, we could turn it into a unique homestay, dedicated to hosting those who truly love the wilderness.”

This was the first time Lin Yu’an mentioned such a specific plan about leaving in front of them.

Lin Yu’an smiled and said, ”I’m entrusting the task of location selection to you. From California to Montana, from Colorado to Tennessee, you can look around, take your time to decide.”

”The money we’ve earned will be enough to buy a very good farm in this country.”

Excitement gleamed in the eyes of Aliya and Emily.

The first thing Aliya thought of was a farm in Montana, with magnificent natural scenery and much more convenience than life in Alaska, it was simply the perfect compromise.

The two women initially immersed themselves in beautiful visions of the future, but after a moment, the excitement on Aliya’s face gradually turned into a trace of concern.

She raised her head and earnestly looked at Lin Yu’an, ”Lin, I love the plans you’ve made for us.”

”But... I don’t want you to give up the life you truly love for us. I know, the wilderness is where your soul belongs.”

Emily also nodded in agreement, adding, ”Yes, dear. I’m willing to live here, and pretty clothes can be bought online, it’s not a big deal.”

”More importantly, your career is all based on the wilderness. If we suddenly move to a farm, will your fans accept it? Will your career be affected?”

Their concerns were sincere and profound. Their primary consideration was still Lin Yu’an himself.

Seeing them, Lin Yu’an’s heart was filled with gratitude. He knew he had the best lovers in the world.

He smiled and shook his head, soothing each of their worries: ”Darling, do you remember what I’ve been learning recently?”

”The flying license?”

”Exactly.” Confidence sparkled in Lin Yu’an’s eyes.

”A big farm can also showcase wilderness life. As long as it has mountains, lakes, and forests, I can record more diversified daily life, like horseback riding, farming, and cattle herding.”

”Moreover, once I have a plane, the wilderness for me will be just a few hours’ flight. The geographical distance will no longer be a constraint.”

”As for my career...” His gaze became far-reaching, ”Recent experiences have made me realize that my world shouldn’t only be about the wilderness.”

”I’ve seen a broader world, and I also want to take you to experience the wonders of that world. My video content should also grow and expand accordingly.”
