I AM the Football Star

If you didn’t notice, then it’s your own fault for being deceived.

However, Sofia’s team was well aware of this.

After discussions, they conveyed the results and possibilities to Sofia.

They believed that although Disney’s sincerity was lacking, the timing of the two films was actually enough for Sofia to break into the Hollywood market.

”Miss Sofia, actually it’s like this...” A Disney executive spoke again, constantly making promises like adding five more minutes to the screen time.

Until there was a knock on the door outside.

”Who?” The Disney executive was visibly displeased, wasn’t it agreed not to interrupt?

But Sofia smiled, quickly walked to the door, opened it, and leaped forward.

”Lu! You finally came!” Sofia and Lu Yang embraced warmly.

Everyone in the room looked at them, displaying expressions of disbelief.

So, Sofia and Lu Yang... are they really together?

Oh my!

The whole time, it was assumed to be just low-quality hype and nonsense from outsiders who didn’t understand the entertainment industry.

Unexpectedly, it turned out to be true!

This isn’t logical!

A superstar like Sofia, her partner shouldn’t be a billionaire tycoon or a wielding figure of power?

It’s even possible for her to be with a big director or a major film company executive.

But how could it be a... soccer player?

Especially one so much younger than her, just mingling in Serie B with no prospects?

Wait, how do I even know he’s a soccer player?

It seems, he’s not that without prospects, huh.

”Hello everyone, this is my friend Lu Yang, I invited him to come help me with some advice,” Sofia said, pulling Lu Yang down to sit.

The Disney executive merely smiled at Lu Yang, without offering a greeting.

Mainly thinking it was unnecessary.

This kind of situation is too common in Hollywood.

Whether it’s a young puppy or a young wolfdog.

They launch an offensive towards well-established actresses, then debut using the actress’s fame, relying on her resources to get roles in smaller productions, and life changes as a result.

Once they’ve gained some fame, or the actress grows tired, they go their separate ways.

So, there’s really no need to get to know him.

Finding an entertainment industry actress as a small athlete and finding a young model as an athlete is the same idea.

Not important.

But soon, the executive changed his judgment.

Because Lu Yang had taken the script handed over by Sofia and frowned immediately after reading it.

”What’s wrong, is there a problem with this role?” Sofia asked.

The atmosphere immediately grew tense.

”There’s no problem with the role, this role is actually quite endearing, if you were to truly play it, I guarantee this role could even become a not-so-small landmark in your career,” Lu Yang spoke.

Finally, the Disney people breathed a sigh of relief.

The young man has quite an eye.

You do understand the industry.

But in the next moment, Lu Yang spoke again, ”But like this, at most, you would be a decent supporting role in Hollywood. Not even guaranteed to win Best Supporting Actress because, although this role has a good likability, its malleability is really too low.”

”Moreover, this seriously undervalues your market position.”

”My dear Sofia, please, do you know you are the number one goddess of All Europe?”

”Do you know how high ’The Invisible Guest’ has once again propelled you?”

”Even though you haven’t entered the Hollywood market, your fame in North America isn’t low, you’re already a myth of a female star worldwide!”

”Even if going to Hollywood, you shouldn’t be venturing forth, but rather gracing!”

”Do you understand me?”

The more Lu Yang spoke, the more excited Sofia became.

Because that’s exactly why she always felt uncomfortable partnering with Disney.

Although she has no foundation in Hollywood, it doesn’t mean she has to start from the bottom.

She doesn’t need to kneel to act in films.

Granted, the United States might be on top of several European countries, but Sofia doesn’t need to be such a pushover.

”Lu Yang is it? Your vision isn’t unique; you’re not the first to think this way before,” A Disney executive responded, giving examples, ”Be it France or England, several European film stars have gone to Hollywood and started as supporting characters.”

”Hollywood is the center of world film, getting a supporting role isn’t disgraceful at all. Conversely, it is a very good opportunity. Look at them, haven’t some of them gradually acted their way up?”

Lu Yang, undeterred, smiled and said, ”That’s them. They might be excellent, but they can’t compare to Sofia’s appeal. Besides... the traffic Sofia brings can’t be matched by them.”

”With Sofia joining, your promotional budget could easily save thirty million dollars. Not to mention she can create a slew of hot topics before the film premieres.”

”There may be many stars in Europa, but there’s only one Kiss of Europa!”

The Disney executive was left speechless.

But they weren’t without corresponding strategies for Sofia’s high self-valuation before this, so he asked, ”Then, in what way do you propose we cooperate? A leading female role who truly is in a romantic relationship with Spider-Man?”

”But our chosen male lead is much younger, perhaps Sofia...”

Lu Yang gestured for the other party to stop.

”You might have misunderstood. We’re not after a leading couple with a romantic line,” Lu Yang squinted, ”Our Sofia only acts in big female lead films! She won’t play a supporting role!”
