I AM the Football Star

Chapter 569: Chapter 152: A New Benchmark for Justice! The First Club in the World to Use VAR!

At the same time, he almost openly threatened San Remo.

What does ”key focus” mean?

It means I’m going to mess with you!

What does ”ensure they have no more objections” mean?

It means when you can’t cry out grievances anymore, when you kneel down and beg for mercy, then we’ll consider whether to let you go.

Such a high posture, truly rare!

Such arrogance, absolutely unique!

The response from European football fans wasn’t mentioned, but many renowned coaches expressed their dissatisfaction.

Mr. Winter: ”If I have any complaints about current football, it’s probably why team appeals are always useless, even when the team is right!”

Sir Manchester: ”If appeals are useless, then just cancel the process. Why bother with it? A bunch of self-deceiving filth!”

Real Madrid’s Old Buddha: ”I hate when someone stands above football so self-righteously. Who do they think they are?”

Barça Chairman Daxiong: ”Regardless, the existing appeal system indeed has many unreasonable aspects. I hope UEFA can address this.”

Bayern’s Big Three: ”Those who maintain better football operations shouldn’t become football’s owners. Ignoring this issue will bring trouble to UEFA!”

Chelsea owner Abu: ”I’ll say one thing, does UEFA really deserve so much money every year? They even tried to stop me from buying Chelsea, a bunch of dog coins!”

As can be seen, what San Remo experienced was not the first time.

Many teams have suffered from this problem before.

But no one has been able to solve this issue, even the captains of world-class top clubs.

If someone could solve this problem, even if only temporarily or for this instance and not forever, it would be enough to receive collective Swiss applause from European football!

And this person... has appeared!

The Italian Football Association held an official press conference.

Martivini, as the convener, faced hundreds of world football media outlets to announce a decision that shocked the football world.

Martivini: ”Today’s invitation for everyone to attend is mainly to communicate two internal resolutions of the Italian Football Association.”

”The first is that after internal discussions, the Italian Football Association unanimously passed the motion for a ’review of the referee decisions in the third round of Group C of the UEFA Europa League — Zenit St. Petersburg VS San Remo match.’”

”The Italian Football Association will fully support San Remo’s appeal. We firmly believe San Remo encountered severe unfair rulings in this match. We firmly support San Remo’s regular, legal actions for their rights.”

”At the same time, we solemnly demand the UEFA Refereeing Committee submit assessments on Main Referee Byron Watrot’s professional level and financial review status!”

With these words, the whole venue exploded instantly!

Within almost five minutes, the news spread across the world!

UEFA headquarters was shaken.

At this moment, the entire world of football couldn’t quite accept this clear result — Italian Football wants to confront UEFA head-on!

For a San Remo?

This...

Strange!

An ancient strange event in football!

Has Martivini gone mad?

Wait, doesn’t this style seem very familiar?

At first, everyone thought Sotu had gone mad?

After Lu spoke out, everyone thought Lu had gone mad?

San Remo filed a second appeal, everyone thought San Remo was also mad?

Now... Martivini and the Italian Football Association have gone mad too!

This... is absolutely no coincidence!

There must be a hidden thread connecting them, leading this group of people to make the same choice.

And behind such choices, there must be a reason and confidence they possess.

What... could it be?

Reporter: ”Have you considered the consequences of doing this? Nariko, the head of the UEFA Refereeing Committee, has already spoken out. This could bring unpredictable consequences to Italy’s football environment.”

Martivini: ”So what?”

The reporters stared wide-eyed.

So what?

Don’t you want to lead Italy’s football revival?

Martivini said: ”The Serie A used to be called the mini World Cup! The Italy National Team used to lift the World Cup! Italian Football used to be the center of European football!”

”But now?”

”Due to many reasons, the influence of Italian Football is diminishing. We can’t control those broader factors, but we’re willing to start from wherever we can, to change all this.”

”I know many people don’t dare to say that word in front of me, match-fixing!”

”But many people behind the scenes evaluate Italian Football as such, pointing fingers.”

”We don’t deny we’ve had our dark moments. But what I want to do, starting today, is to bring Italian Football back to fairness, justice, and transparency!”

”San Remo should receive fair treatment; this is the first step in Italy’s pursuit of fairness in football. Even if UEFA Refereeing Committee stands against us, we will consistently persist in football justice!”

”UEFA must absolutely not stand on the opposing side of football justice!”

Opening fire!

Martivini has opened fire!

Almost simultaneously, countless high-ranking officials of the Italian Football Association had their phones ringing.

But they almost all hung up the calls.

Let the bullets fly for a while.

This game, Italy finds it hard to lose!

Including Martivini facing the media, his phone kept ringing.

The current UEFA president personally called Martivini.
