I AM the Football Star

Chapter 555: Chapter 150: Here Comes the Bicycle Kick You Wanted!

”Hahaha, does Lu Yang not know where the goal is? Is this even considered a bicycle kick?”

”It’s just a fancy breakout, yet some fans claim this shows Lu Yang’s excellent shooting technique and amazing physical balance. I can’t even!”

”With this level, dare to mess with the two La Liga giants?”

”The giants’ only rivals are each other, no one else! Lu Yang is trying too hard to grab attention!”

”Struggling so much against Zenit, is San Remo this lousy?”

”This game was like a pile of crap, both teams are trash!”

”Zenit’s number nine looks a bit better; hopefully, he’ll teach that Lu Yang a lesson for us!”

”That’s Sada Ammon. Last year, when the Tsar was still with their team, they played against our Barça. Two matches with only one assist, not an outstanding forward line.”

”Are you talking about the time the Tsar scored twice against our Barça? The Tsar is truly a buyable player, what a shame! Heard he transferred to Arsenal?”

”Yeah, Olic’s journey with Zenit in the Champions League was unpleasant. He knew the team’s ceiling was too low and ultimately chose to leave. Barça offered twenty million, but Arsenal paid more.”

”If the Tsar were around, teams like San Remo would be wiped out in minutes!”

”Close enough, even without the Tsar, Zenit is kicking San Remo’s ass!”

Fans were exchanging thoughts online.

But some professional coaches also pay attention to discussions on forums.

Like Arsenal’s Head Coach, Mr. Winter.

However, Mr. Winter’s face isn’t looking too pleased right now.

This season, Arsenal spent twenty-eight million to bring in Russian Super League star Olic.

Olic is indeed remarkable, scoring a goal in his first match at Arsenal.

In the following games, while not entirely integrated into the team, he’s created many threats and assists.

You can visibly see his capability.

Even Mr. Winter told the media: ”Signing Olic has made everyone in our team very happy. I’ve long anticipated his arrival.”

”Olic is versatile, experienced, and powerful, traits showcased in Zenit and the Russian national team matches. His joining will undoubtedly significantly boost the team’s overall strength.”

”He is Arsenal’s last puzzle piece to once again challenge for the Premier League title! He will climb to the Premier League peak with Arsenal!”

Winter speaks his heart, but... there has been intense arguing with the boss about this deal.

Arsenal’s boss being reluctant to invest money has been distressing enough for Winter, and finally agreeing to spend, he insisted on purchasing Olic.

Because the boss’s business ventures extend to Russia, necessitating developing goodwill with the Russian populace and such.

You could understand the Olic transfer involves commercial and straightforward factors beyond just competitive reasons.

Not saying Olic isn’t worth twenty-eight million euros. He’s absolutely worth it.

But... if Winter truly had twenty-eight million euros to use freely, the first player he’d buy would be Lu Yang!

If the budget were sufficient, he’d even hope to grab both Lu Yang and Morici.

Even though Arsenal doesn’t currently lack a midfield core, a player like Morici would attract any head coach.

Hence, Winter fought with the boss to use fifteen million in surplus value to secure Lu Yang and Morici, with the remaining million-plus to acquire a reliable forward, like the hotshot from the Portuguese Super League.

With this, they could even use the remaining three hundred thousand to take a chance on the blemished striker from Feyenoord in the Eredivisie.

But the boss refused to use these funds for any player other than Olic.

Winter was so angered by this that he fell ill.

Working under a foolish boss is definitely the most frustrating thing in the world, without a doubt.

If you have a foolish boss, please hit like.

...

During halftime, Sotu reminded everyone that the match’s intensity doesn’t seem to be decreasing, and everyone should pay attention to the other’s subtle actions to prevent injury.

Also, don’t fear the opponent and enhance San Remo’s attack intensity.

Never forget the role Sotu played when he was on the field.

If he’s not hindering others, it’s a blessing, yet now someone dares to mess with his team?

Do they truly believe I’m an old butcher who can’t wield the blade anymore?

Don’t they know I’ve already passed down my legacy?

”Lu!” Sotu looked at Lu Yang.

Morici and others started getting nervous, afraid Sotu might assign Lu Yang a task to tackle someone.

Lu Yang already has a yellow card.

”In the second half, prepare to move to the front. Reduce some defensive efforts and focus on creating opportunities in the attack,” Sotu said, ”I need you to control yourself, we must win this match, understand?”

The whole team breathed a sigh of relief.

Everyone feared Sotu would send Lu Yang back to the defensive midfield position, increasing the chances of Lu Yang getting another yellow card.

In the second half, within just five minutes.

Players from both sides were rolling on the ground.

The match intensity was indeed as Sotu predicted.

In the fifty-fifth minute, Sotu waved his hand and substituted the struggling right-winger Fernandez.

Fernandez’s physique is somewhat lacking, suffering today.

His position is different from Morici’s; faced with tough defense, Morici can pass back or try risky through balls.
