I AM the Football Star

Could it be that Vincent intends to continue his veteran playing strategy?

This selection looks more like a publicity stunt to silence the critics!

If that’s really the case.

If they win, it’s fine; Vincent will have silenced quite a few people.

But if they lose… Vincent might be driven to desperation.

Because he’s just too stubborn!

Even in such a situation, he doesn’t think about solving team problems and still has the mood for a stunt?

Too bullheaded!

Sure enough!

The next day, the media exposed that Vincent had quietly visited Ancelotti.

Prince Zebra, Ancelotti, had a recurrence of his injury in the last qualifying match and needs more than a month of rest.

Now he has mostly recovered, but to be safe, he hasn’t started official matches and has only participated in preliminary training.

And after Vincent’s visit to Ancelotti, Ancelotti withdrew from Juventus’ internal training, announcing to the public that he needed to continue resting for a while.

It’s a nailed certainty!

Vincent probably reached an agreement with Ancelotti, hoping he could make sacrifices for the national team and delay his club return.

This way, they can minimize the risk of him getting injured again before the national team’s playoff match.

Vincent’s consideration can’t be said to be anything but thorough.

It’s truly a meticulous calculation.

But whether it will be effective still depends on the first round of the national team playoff on November 21st.

Luckily, Juventus is currently at the top of Serie A’s standings, and the pressure of Champions League qualification isn’t too great, or else they would definitely be hammering Vincent.

On the other hand, last season and this season, the number of matches Ancelotti has played for Juventus has greatly reduced. Yet Juventus still claimed the league title, despite occasional turmoil, they ultimately did not falter.

This inevitably leads to questioning Ancelotti’s value within Juventus.

The four million euros super salary is one thing, but with Ancelotti’s contract renewal next year, how should this salary be set?

Competing with AC Milan’s highest salary, is six million not an overstatement?

However, would Juventus be willing to offer nearly six million euros next year for the 33-year-old Ancelotti?

Even if Ancelotti is Prince Zebra.

But… Juventus’ meritorious captain Bernulin has already gone to San Remo, hasn’t he?

His renewal price reportedly was only four million euros, yet even Juventus was stumped.

It’s undeniable that Ancelotti’s national sacrifice operation is very disadvantageous for his club development.

This may lay an unpleasant foreshadowing for his renewal with Juventus next year.

Sure enough, right after Ancelotti announced he would continue resting.

News came from Juventus that their team is frequently scouting various leagues for outstanding young strikers.

Juventus officially stated they need a qualified substitute.

But… if this substitute is really qualified enough, will Ancelotti’s position be shaken because of it?

...

On November 4th, San Remo hosted Zenit St. Petersburg, who traveled a long way.

Despite the unpleasantness of the last match.

It even sparked a significant controversy, leading to scenes of the Italian Football Association confronting UEFA.

Yet, with numerous guidance sessions from San Remo officials, San Remo welcomed Zenit’s players and fans.

What does it mean to be magnanimous?

It’s not about throwing money around; that’s flamboyance.

True elegance lies in such magnanimity.

San Remo isn’t a big club, but they left a deep impression on the Zenit fans visiting the Makabaka Stadium this time.

Of course, being gracious doesn’t mean neglecting pre-match preparation.

From Zenit’s side, many of their partner media have touted the slogan of ”revenge”!

They believe Zenit has a good chance of winning this match.

And the Republican Newspaper eagerly reprinted these reports and invited commentators to extensively explain the pessimism about San Remo: ”The chances of San Remo winning this match are not high.”

”Firstly, San Remo has had a series of intense matches recently, and with the schedule already approaching a third, the players’ fitness is about to be challenged.”

”Secondly, their recent opponents have been formidable, particularly Bologna, which has given San Remo a hard time. With injuries to players like Latu Yidi and Fernandez, San Remo is not in their best condition.”

”Thirdly, Zenit, being aware of their shortcomings, will likely perform well in this match. San Remo has also antagonized UEFA before; while UEFA apologized, there’s no guarantee the referee committee won’t give special attention to San Remo.”

”Lastly, the three-match European ban for Lam and Sotu has created a significant problem for San Remo, plunging them into a dual predicament of having no coach and a lack of core players.”

These comments do carry some validity.

In essence, analyzing problems is like this; many factors are evident, and those who support them can use them, while those who doubt them can also use them, depending on your mindset.

To Hans of Live Football Report, such circumstances are instead seen as San Remo’s advantages.

The specific reasoning doesn’t need to be elaborated.

In short, a lot of verbal sparring happened before the match.

For Zenit, there weren’t any significant changes, except that their injured number eight player was replaced.

On San Remo’s side, there were indeed many changes.

They started to lack personnel.
