I AM the Football Star

Matteo Kolber is the star player of Serie B team Bologna. Last season, Bologna was a Serie A team and they have oscillated between Serie A and Serie B multiple times in recent years, earning quite a bit of money in the process.

Every time they move up to Serie A, several of their players are bought for high prices.

Then when they drop back to Serie B, they replenish with a few lower-tier league players, get promoted to Serie A, and sell them again.

Basically, they are also a small black shop in Serie A.

And the reason for their confidence largely stems from having a player like Kolber.

No matter if in Serie A or Serie B, Kolber has scored 15+ goals for three consecutive seasons.

Serie B aside, he even scored fifteen goals in Serie A, ranking sixth on the scoring list. Do you think that’s impressive or not?

Basically, these years have been his rapid rise to fame, and many people believe he is Italy’s future forward killer.

Height: 1.84 meters.

Weight: 78 kilograms.

Age: 27 years old.

He has abundant league experience.

Excellent physical confrontation level.

Strong shooting ability, great balance, and critically, he can shoot at any time!

In fact, there has been a high demand for Kolber to be selected for the national team recently.

So regarding Vincent about the arrival of the next match, there are people who believe he is also scouting Kolber.

Basically, besides Talista, no forward playing in Italy is more capable of scoring as a ”newcomer” than Kolber.

This newcomer refers to players who do not yet have great fame.

When compared with those established stars in Serie A, Kolber indeed has a gap.

Don’t even mention Ancelotti and Perrotta; even the veteran central forward Quagliarella Farella from Samp, Kolber is always about to surpass him every year but always falls slightly short.

This is one of the reasons he has yet to be selected for the national team.

The Italy National Team is indeed a magical national team.

Italian players always improve with age!

While others’ performances decline, they often can maintain peaks or even rejuvenate.

This leads the Italy National Team always to easily enter various major competitions.

But these veterans, due to physical, speed, and creativity factors, find it difficult to bring true breakthroughs to the team, so Italy’s performance in recent major competitions has not been satisfactory.

And every time Italy prepares to utilize young players, these veterans can erupt with such prowess that you can’t bear to let go.

Would you not use Buffon when he was thirty-five or thirty-six years old?

Thirty-seven-year-old Chiellini and thirty-five-year-old Bonucci can still help Italy win the European Cup!

Thirty-one-year-old Insigne and Immobile, at the peak of their careers, are Italy’s most stable scoring points on the front line!

With such performance, how can you abandon them?

Meanwhile, the young Italian players, due to factors like less big match experience and team practice, struggle to show outstanding performance within one to two years.

Comparing the two, each time Italy prepares for a transition and renewal, it is postponed.

In the end, these veterans are all thirty-three, thirty-four, thirty-five, with no younger players coming up behind them.

This leads to a shortage of Italian players.

Not to exaggerate or undermine, look at other national teams that perform well, those main players usually need to play together for at least three to four years to feel in sync.

Italy doesn’t pay tuition fees for young players; although veterans become more refined with use, they still can’t match some aspects of young players.

Modern football, what tactic doesn’t require a few fast steeds?

This task can only be done well by young players willing to do it.

Without these speed burst spots, it’s difficult to achieve good results in international competitions.

...

Time enters November.

The Serie B officials announced once again October’s best player—Lu Yang!

Lu Yang is not only the first player to win the award but also the first to retain the award.

Throughout October, San Remo achieved ten consecutive wins, scoring fourteen goals in four league matches, averaging 3.5 goals per game, ranking first in Serie B.

Lu Yang personally achieved seven goals and three assists, averaging 2.5 goal creations per match, ranking first in efficiency in Serie B!

If such a player doesn’t win October’s best player, who would?

As a result, Lu Yang gained two Basic Points and a Basic Skill ”Poacher”.

Poacher: The player is more willing to charge into the penalty area.

This also brought Lu Yang’s attacking positioning close to the peak, from 83-84.

Moreover, the hat trick against Zenit also brought Lu Yang a Player Skill ”Shoulder Dip Feint”.

Increasing his balance from 83-84.

Lu Yang used the two Basic Points on his rare attributes still under 80, Jumping, increasing from 72-76.

This considered another small enhancement completed.

This actually strengthened Lu Yang’s Finishing Ability.

Among players with the most outstanding Shoulder Dip Feint, it must be Messi. This skill, combined with a player’s superb ball control and tight dribbling abilities, can deliver an extremely frightening dribbling effect.

Moreover, it has the kind of outcome not noticeable to fans but terrifying to defenders.

With it, Lu Yang’s dribbling in the penalty area will be full of threats.

And the Jumping attribute, combined with the Poacher, greatly enhances Lu Yang’s ability to grab spots in the penalty area.

Lu Yang has made complete preparations ahead of the showdown.

November 2nd quickly arrives.

The tenth round of Serie B officially kicks off.

The third-place teams in the promotion zone directly clashed, with San Remo traveling to Bologna.

Before the match begins, there are many topics of discussion.

Among them is an unfamiliar name—Roberto Calafiori!
