I AM the Football Star

Chapter 395: Chapter 114: Andrés’s Redemption, [Super Football] Column_3

It might seem a bit unique, but...

”Courage” is the only reliance on which princes defeat dragons in all fairy tales!

”What should I do?” Andrés asked, ”I mean, between leaving AC Milan and reintegrating into AC Milan!”

”Izalelt is willing to give me more ball control and try to work closely with me, just like you and that little guy in your family. Praxedes also wants to help me ease relationships in various aspects, but I...”

Morici cried himself faint in the bathroom, he was right next to the phone, and Lu Yang was using the speaker.

Lu Yang laughed, suddenly feeling that this kid Andrés knew how to handle things, so he was willing to give him some advice, and thus said: ”If I were you, I would certainly choose to stay.”

”Burning bridges is just a means, not an end. If you burn bridges just to vent, then it seems somewhat low-level.”

”Truly formidable people are those who can achieve their goals after burning bridges and then smile at the right time.”

”There aren’t many attacking players like Izalelt who can turn the mundane into the magical. Being in tune and cooperating with such a player for a year will help you more than playing ten years with those divine strikers who waste chances.”

”Moreover, Izalelt and AC Milan are almost the focal point of the entire world of football now. Here, it’s easier for you to become a superstar. If Izalelt is really willing to work closely with you, next season you will be a frequent feature in major football media.”

”Also, have you considered how long Izalelt will stay at AC Milan?”

This was a sensitive topic. Andrés did not dare to respond easily. He never thought there would be a day when Izalelt would leave AC Milan.

How is that possible?

That’s AC Milan!

”Izalelt has two years left on his contract with AC Milan. Logically, around this time next year is when he should be renewing his contract with the club,” Lu analyzed. ”But actually...as long as he doesn’t sign a new contract this year, by next summer, he’s very likely to leave!”

Andrés was stunned.

What’s this logic?

It sounds incomprehensible!

”It’s very simple, moron.” Morici interrupted, indicating that he remembered the cute nickname ’little guy’ used earlier, ”Next year, he will have only one year left on his contract with the club. If other clubs offer him a high salary, AC Milan will either let him go, or keep him for another year and then let him leave on a free transfer, but the latter will result in AC Milan not earning any transfer fee.”

”So actually, this year AC Milan should have renewed his contract.”

”But unfortunately, this year AC Milan missed out on the Champions League, and Izalelt’s agent has a full reason to say that we don’t want to sign this year; we hope to bring more to AC Milan and, after proving our value again, demand a big contract.”

”AC Milan can naturally accept such a statement. In fact, if Izalelt can continue to play for AC Milan for another year with his current salary of five million, AC Milan would be very happy, because his next contract salary is likely to be higher, at least exceeding seven million euros!”

”But AC Milan might not realize what they will lose by saving a few million euros!”

Andrés was speechless.

So, he was really just a player.

While Lu Yang and Morici, playing a game of football led them to have the entire situation in their hands.

Is this what being a player is?

Few head coaches and sports directors have such clear insight, right?

On what basis did they say someone would leave if their two-year contract wasn’t renewed?

Could it be that some elite club privately contacted Izalelt’s agent?

But how could they be certain about this information?

Guessing?

No wonder AC Milan plays with such clarity and precision.

The San Remo brothers not only play football well; they also play cunningly.

”Um...who is your agent? I feel if I had such a powerful agent, my situation might be a lot better,” Andrés was tempted.

For a long time, agents have been criticized.

Things like vampires.

But actually, a truly professional and excellent agent can earn a player not just high salary packages!

A top agent can also secure team guarantees, secure playing time, secure a core position, as well as the possibility of earning more awards and respect for the player!

Just like the turning point in C Luo’s transfer back to Old Trafford, C Luo received the most perfect outcome. Although playing for Paris and Manchester City isn’t out of the question and both have their highlights, returning to Manchester United is undoubtedly the most dignified and the most tear-jerking.

This is one of the roles of a top agent!

If Andrés can make AC Milan see his highlights and be certain he is a reliable player before Izalelt leaves, then who will become AC Milan’s core player isn’t difficult to guess, right?

Andrés’ opportunity has come!

Moreover, he even has Praxedes as a safeguard, which can allow him to smoothly take over the rightful title at AC Milan, ensuring his positional and tactical importance within the team far exceeds that of an average player.

One step to hell, one step to heaven.

This is the future of Andrés.

So... the current difficult situation might not be entirely bad for him.

This is what he must go through to become the future leader of AC Milan.

This is also the brave reward for his uprising and refusal to take the blame after this failure.
