I AM the Football Star

Chapter 385: Chapter 112: Official Awards Announced, Season Settlement (Part 3)

At the end of the awards, the Italian Football Association also announced the best lineup for the Italian Cup.

This is a 442 formation, led by Lu Yang, featuring Gutierrez from Inter, Perrotta from Rome, Izalelt and Andrés from AC Milan, Drake from Rome, Praxedes from AC Milan, Palacios from San Remo, Ameluci from Rome...

Morici unfortunately couldn’t make it due to issues like playing time, and Rome’s midfield core Balera also regrettably missed out. He was actually pushed out by Izalelt, as he was more deserving of this best lineup, but the Italian Cup needed Izalelt’s influence.

This is the value of top stars; they can already enhance the value realization of some awards.

...

”Ding! You won the Italian Cup championship and received the championship grand prize.”

”Ding! You used the Italian Cup championship grand prize, obtained the player-level skill Creative Commander, and received the Moment Pack.”

”Creative Commander, your organizational ability has slightly increased, your teamwork with teammates in the front field will be smoother, and you can move to a deeper position to receive the ball.”

”Moment Pack, can randomly burst out Moment Cards!”

”Ding! You received official honors from the Italian Cup, basic improvement points*3, essence improvement points*1.”

In the hospital, Lu Yang’s mind was buzzing.

Compared to before, this time the system gave several new items.

One is the Moment Pack, which can randomly burst out Moment Cards. With the system’s generous burst rate, there’s no doubt that this thing can change the situation on the field at any time.

Another is the improvement point.

This is related to Lu Yang’s various stats.

Basic improvement points target abilities below 80.

Essence improvement points target abilities at 80 and above.

The rule for adding points below 70 is an addition of 2, 3, 2, 3.

Between 70-80, each improving by 2 points.

Above 80, improving by 1 point each time.

So three basic improvement points can actually improve the score by 6 to 8 points.

And essence improvement points are just one point each.

The Kaka Moment Card gave Lu Yang a strong boost.

Offensive Positioning 81-82

Dribbling 81-82

Ball Control 81-82

Shooting 80-81

Set Pieces 67-70

Curvature 72-74

Speed 78-80

Eruption 80-81

Power 78-80

Balance 82-83

And the recent Creative Commander has brought an improvement to Lu Yang’s passing.

Short Pass 72-74

Long Pass 76-78

Looking at his data panel, Lu Yang is considering how to allocate the improvement points.

One way is average allocation, but that’s definitely not feasible.

Lu Yang himself is already a hexagonal template player; he knows that such players feel comfortable playing but are actually at a disadvantage in terms of performance.

In fact, there are only a few key attributes a position can utilize.

Your defensive ability may be strong, but if you’re playing as a winger, all that skill seems to have no place to be showcased.

So Lu Yang’s point allocation won’t follow the average trend.

Similarly, regarding his future position, Lu Yang himself definitely wants to move more forward.

But the team configuration of San Remo also determines that Lu Yang frequently has to patch up various positions, so he temporarily isn’t suitable for focusing on developing forward attributes.

After contemplating back and forth, there’s an attribute that makes Lu Yang very satisfied, which is the basic attribute.

Some basic attributes are useful no matter what position you play in.

Ding ding ding!

A triple click, Lu Yang’s strength attribute rose from 74 directly to 80.

Entering the latter half of the league, Lu Yang actually found his strength wasn’t quite adequate. The most obvious was his feeling of discomfort during those two matches as a central forward.

And all along, toughness has been Lu Yang’s label.

Strong and tough, without a strong body, how can one be tough?

First raising the strength attribute to 80 is definitely the right choice.

And the essence improvement point, Lu Yang chose to allocate it to the Eruption column, increasing Eruption from 81 to 82.

Eruption is also a basic attribute, widely useful.

In high-level players and matches, Eruption attribute is even more critical than speed, strength, or foot power among other basic attributes.

But the season settlement is not yet complete, as the official awards belonging to the Italian Third Division have not been announced.

It’s believed that it will bring some improvement points to Lu Yang.

A day later, the Italian Third Division officially announced various awards.

Awards for data were unsurprising; Lu Yang won the league’s Golden Boot and Assist King.

Morici, just one assist behind, could only become the second Assist King, regretting bitterly. When he learned that Lu Yang instructed teammates not to assist him, he directly declared he would report Lu Yang to the football association.

The league’s steal king was Latu Yidi.

The league’s best forward, the official award went to Becher’s, who performed well in two teams, and his data of 25+11 definitely deserved this honor.

The best midfielder was given to Morici.

There was no choice; although Morici missed nearly half of the matches, his luxurious personal data in the Italian Third Division had no match except for Lu Yang.

Best goalkeeper was Jalard, this veteran was very steady throughout the league.

The best defender was not a San Remo player; Palacios was the most favorable candidate, but he rotated too much with Rondo.

Naji had a chance as well, but he scored too many own goals.

Taking everything into account, the official still awarded this to a defender from Allez’s team, lest the league’s second-ranked team have no best awards, which would be too pitiful.

The best player of the Italian Third Division was undoubtedly Lu Yang; if not for the rule that this award and the four best category awards can’t overlap, Morici’s best midfielder award would probably have been dominated by Lu Yang as well.
