I AM the Football Star

Chapter 387: Chapter 112: Official Awards Announced, Season Settlement (Part 5)

But to be fair, Latu Yidi’s rating is somewhat exaggerated.

First, his running ability has declined significantly, reducing his defensive coverage with relatively slow speed. Second, his stamina has decreased, which also affects his running and defensive coverage.

So despite having a capability rating of 77, in games, except in specific situations, he generally performs around 74 or 75.

Of course, if he encounters players who insist on confronting him head-on, Latu Yidi can sometimes explode with performances that match Planet Level.

Thus, his defensive data should be extremely high, but his physical data should be relatively poor.

This results in some less capable players easily passing Latu Yidi, while some highly capable players are effectively marked by him.

Ratings are just a reference. Even the same overall ratings, and identical individual data, different playing styles and environments yield different results.

San Remo’s third highest-rated player is still not Morici, but Becher’s!

Becher’s 76 points!

This once again explains why many big teams are optimistic about this player, as he truly has the strength to establish himself in Serie A, and Serie A scouts truly know their stuff.

The capability Becher’s demonstrates against Serie A Level teams aligns closely with his rating, making him upper-middle class among foundational players in the Five Major Leagues.

But how much room for growth he has, and what potential he holds for the future is an unknown figure.

Lu Yang judges from Becher’s current technical level and overall rating that his physical data won’t be too high.

His age is about to enter his prime period, which means his physical data won’t increase further, so he can only develop his techniques in the future, but his techniques are almost fully developed now, meaning his future ceiling is likely just an ordinary Star Level.

He’s not the kind of supreme future super star seed.

This is something that previous major teams looking to purchase Becher’s are also aware of.

Becher’s is immediate combat power, not a lottery ticket.

San Remo’s fourth rating is finally Morici.

points!

This rating is quite interesting.

Because for many people, Morici hasn’t shown midfield player level among the Five Major Leagues, but for some, Morici’s performance far exceeds ordinary Five Major League players.

This relates to Morici’s development path.

The performance of core players often corresponds with the team’s performance.

When a team’s overall level is high, it’s not obvious even if the core player is somewhat lacking.

When a team’s overall level is not great, core players sometimes appear to be lacking.

Obviously, this situation can be reversed.

Sometimes in weaker teams, core players can shine, like Becher’s initially at Imolese.

In any case, Morici’s rating doesn’t fully represent his tactical threat. You may not believe it, but Morici’s influence on outcomes is very significant.

If not for this season’s injury period, Morici’s rating might have had the chance to catch up or even surpass Latu Yidi’s. The next two to three years are Morici’s rapid growth period!

Next is Belletti with 73 points.

Considering Belletti’s stamina factors, he probably can only perform at 73-point level for twenty minutes, then twenty minutes around 67-70 points, and further might fall below 60 points if he continues playing.

Next are three 72-points players from San Remo: goalkeeper Jalard, central defender Palacios, and central forward Sogel.

The first two aren’t surprising, as goalkeepers and central defenders can play professionally until very old.

Including non-speed positions in the forward and midfield areas, they are similar.

In these ground-style playing methods, players often become more adept as they age.

These two peaked as main forces in Serie B, achieving initial Five Major League levels now, which isn’t surprising.

What is surprising is Sogel, whose rise is very rapid, now having Five Major Leagues standard.

Note that he’s playing as a pivot central forward, requiring significant player experience and field intelligence. These forward player’s growth cycles are longer, but their peak lasts longer too.

If Sogel continues growing like this, he might really hold the possibility of supporting AC Milan’s future forward lineup.

Next is Bai Zhami with 70 points.

His score, without consideration of speed and explosion, is likely around 66.

Versachi is at 69 points but doesn’t impress more than Fernandez with only 66, which relates to his hexagon data. He suffers in overall rating and actual matches, struggling to make eye-catching plays.

Just like Lu Yang with a high score of 79, not considering those Miracle Balls, he won’t outshine Becher’s at 76, Morici at 75, or Belletti at 73.

Right-back Matias scored 68 points, near his peak, considering San Remo’s future battles in Serie B, and possibly Serie A. His rating will slightly increase.

But his ceiling is just above 70, barely counting as a Five Major Leagues player, though Serie B might be his ultimate destination.

He’s a typical player with limited talent.

San Remo’s strategy for acquiring him was indeed to stabilize during the Italian Third Division phase and provide a rotational option for the future, his role being rotation.

San Remo deserves praise for its accurate recruitment, Sotu and Maniero have reliable vision here.

Unless unexpected, this summer, San Remo will make moves at right-back and central defender positions.

Compared to Matias on the right, left-back Camihong has a lower score of 66, but he’s recently joined the team and still has potential to develop.

If Camihong can adapt to San Remo’s playing style, reaching above 75 in the future is feasible, which indicates mid-level Serie A standard.

Rondo with 63 points, Naji with 67.

The former is nearing the end of the line, playing few matches this season, with obvious skill degradation. Lu heard Rondo plans to formally retire, he will announce this at the team’s championship celebration next week.

As for Naji, he really wasted some talent; his physical qualities are impressive, logically he should now be close to 70 points.

He needs to invest more effort in training.

Lu Yang has decided, if he can’t play in the European Youth Championship this summer, Naji, Camihong, Fernandez, Bai Zhami, Versachi, none of these guys will escape; they all must join his training camp.

Next season, San Remo will participate in European Competition games!

Not to achieve remarkable results, but at least to avoid losing face throughout European Football.

These weaker San Remo players need to be strengthened.

And they are still young, with potential to unlock, not unsalvageable pieces of wood.

Seize this summer opportunity, San Remo’s combat power can become stronger!

And even in current condition, San Remo can be considered an upper-class team in Serie B.

They went through a qualitative transformation in the Italian Third Division season.

It’s a unique baptism brought by the championship!
