I Am Not A Goblin Slayer

They are not only Warriors but also blacksmiths.

Once they establish a team base, build the blacksmith shop and other logistic areas, the iron tools, weapons, and Armor collected from clearing monsters can be re-forged and made into weapons or metal ingots, sold to others instead of being abandoned or sold cheaply now.

Although he has this idea, Gauss did not take the initiative to speak.

He feels that asking might seem like he’s seeking repayment for kindness.

Even though Bruno provided mithril as a reward, they clearly still have his ”life-saving grace” in mind based on their attitude.

Let it be.

Gauss shook his head.

If the Dwarves are willing to join voluntarily, that would be the best, but if they have other thoughts, he won’t force them.

Bruno’s team is now clearly in a rather awkward stagnation period.

They realized their lack of strength and gave up their original rash plan, yet now seem unsure of where to go.

Over the next two days, Gauss and the others stayed in Farlim without going out.

Albena found a blacksmith shop, paid some money, and temporarily borrowed the site, busy forging everyday wear Warrior soft Armor for Gauss.

She had been accumulating materials, and this harvest’s mithril was the last missing piece.

As for the others, they were busy with their own affairs.

Aaliyah’s dream cooling period had arrived.

So, for these two days, she wandered in the city’s plant market, looking for suitable magic plants to transplant into her dream.

However, magic plants are not cheap, those with a rich Magic Power aura generally cost dozens to hundreds of Gold Coins. Fortunately, this is considered a team expense because everyone can regularly enjoy some of the magic fruits produced, so they used the team’s collective treasury, and funds were relatively sufficient.

Gauss was not wasting time at the inn either.

He picked some nearby small commissions and went out with Ying several times.

...

Early morning.

Gauss summoned the rest of the team together to go to the Adventurer’s Guild.

When submitting the commission yesterday afternoon, he received a notification from the staff, his application had been approved.

”So fast?”

Aaliyah was a bit surprised.

The speed was far quicker than she imagined.

”Yes.”

Gauss was also amazed when he received the notice yesterday afternoon.

Having consulted Shirley before, he knew that establishing an adventure group was not an easy task, so he had made adequate mental preparations.

A few weeks or half a year waiting for approval, even not approved, he had anticipated.

Unexpectedly, things progressed so smoothly.

Entering the Adventurer’s Guild, guided by the staff, they arrived at an office where Gauss submitted the registration fund of 100 Gold Coins.

”Congratulations.”

The staff put away the Gold Coins.

”Thank you.”

”You need to finalize the name of the adventure group.”

”Can we discuss it first?”

”Of course.”

Gauss’s team sat together, faces turned serious.

The significance of a name is self-evident, especially for organizations like adventure groups that require recruiting people.

First, it needs to sound nice; secondly, it should link the name with the leader himself instantaneously, having its uniqueness.

Gauss and others had been discussing before heading to Farlim.

This discussion was just to finalize.

”If everyone has no objections, then let’s settle on this.”

The name of the adventure group can be changed, but generally, once determined, the owner won’t alter it.

Otherwise, having accumulated some reputation with great difficulty, after a change, it becomes unknown to everyone.

Reputation is also a kind of invisible wealth.

”Red Dragon Team.”

After their discussion, Gauss and others did not adopt those seemingly flashy names.

No matter how appealing an adventure group’s name sounds, if power is lacking, it won’t be remembered.

So rather than grand, it’s more important to be catchy, simple, easy to remember, and have the uniqueness of their team.

The Red Dragon Team is just like that.

The Red Dragon Beast as a mount, compared to other adventure groups, is a unique feature where others don’t have it.

The Red Dragon is the leader of the Five-Colored Evil Dragons, in ordinary people’s cognition, is synonymous with strength and destruction.

”Alright, I’ll register it for you then.”

After confirming the name, the second step was to confirm the adventure group’s location.

This is also considered a benefit from Farlim for those whose adventure group application was approved.

They can spend 100 more Gold Coins to purchase a piece of land in the city to establish their activity base.

However, this is voluntary, not mandatory.

But considering this price is relatively cheap compared to surrounding land prices, it’s almost half buy half give away.

So, most adventure group owners tend to choose to purchase.

Gauss naturally did likewise.

On the map, Gauss chose a plot relatively close to the city gate, not far from the commercial street.

Actually, there weren’t many options; many plots in good locations were already purchased by adventure groups established earlier.

What remained for them to choose were lands on the outer circle, which were intentionally preserved.

Subsequently, Gauss completed the remaining registration work for the adventure group.

Until he walked out of the Adventurer’s Guild door.

He still felt a bit dazed.

This was completed; he had a venture group of his own, and a base in such a big city like Farlim.
