I Am Not A Goblin Slayer

Therefore, she dared not sleep too soundly these past two days, fearing that at night she’d be dragged away by that lustful goblin.

”You should eat something first.”

Gauss controlled the clay body, gently sliced his palm, and the slightly swollen abdomen split open, revealing the pre-prepared white bread and water pouch inside.

”Thank you.”

Toga took the water and food and immediately began eating without reservation.

Once the food reached her stomach, she felt a little better.

Gauss then dismantled the barrier.

”I’ve confirmed your position now, so they should start the attack from outside.”

Gauss assisted Toga out from inside.

”This goblin will stay here to protect you.”

”Okay.”

Although Toga ate some food and regained some physical strength, the toxins inside her were still active, so she had no combat power yet.

She obeyed whatever this ”goblin” arranged.

While she quietly recovered her strength.

Outside, noisy commotions soon erupted.

Clearly, the rescue adventurer team had started the full-scale attack.

”Can they defeat this Goblin Tribe?”

She couldn’t help but worry again.

Even though her combat power had been weakened by poison, she had to admit that the goblin leader that defeated her was incredibly strong.

Anyway, Bruno and his team surely wouldn’t be its match, especially since there are so many goblins outside, relying on sheer numbers alone brings significant trouble to the rescuers.

”Boom!!”

The wall beside her trembled violently again, shaking loose some dirt, clearly indicating the battle outside was extremely intense.

Screams and roars echoed without end.

Toga could do nothing but silently pray that the group of adventurers could hold their ground, fearing they’d fail to rescue her and sacrifice even more people.

”So cold!”

Toga suddenly shivered, feeling the air temperature dropping rapidly.

Is it snowing outside?

Her feeling was not wrong.

At this moment, the snowstorm ravaging the central area of the Underground City’s town center was mercilessly claiming the lives of goblins.

The dwarves guarding the entrance, killing escapees to prevent goblins from fleeing, glanced at the snowstorm which seemed like a mini natural disaster, with their pupils rapidly contracting.

Despite expectations before coming, the actual combat performance by Gauss left them in awe.

Goblins fell in masses, as if harvested like wheat.

Looking at the ice sculptures covering the ground, Bruno felt fortunate to have recruited Gauss.

If he had hired weaker adventurers, they might have been doomed due to the sheer number of goblins.

During Gauss’s spell casting.

An agile goblin, nearly his height, suddenly appeared beside him.

”Watch out!”

The dwarves quickly warned upon noticing this.

Confused as to why Gauss’s distant companions hunting monsters allowed the leader of the monsters to appear so easily beside this caster.

”Clang!”

Just when the dwarves expected a disaster to occur.

Gauss’s other hand suddenly grasped a blue-and-gold striped Water Sword from thin air.

The Water Sword collided with the curved blade aimed at a sneak attack.

After a brief contact, a hint of panic flashed in the goblin leader’s eyes.

”Such strong power.”

It had concealed itself well, even allowing its tribesmen to be slaughtered for this ambush, utilizing the human caster’s concentration on using magic, activating its ability and reaching the caster’s side, unleashing the blade.

The entire plan and execution were remarkably perfect.

The only issue arose at the final step.

During close combat, it realized the human’s power was not weaker than its own.

Even...

”Boom!!!”

An airflow surged.

Its body flew away instantly.

”Confusion Skill!”

Instantly activating Tier Two Ghost Transformation paired with Explosive Strength technique, Gauss sent the goblin leader flying.

Meanwhile, his other hand swung out the Magic Staff, followed by a four-ring Spell being cast.

The goblin leader barely stabilized itself after landing, trying to take next steps, when suddenly its mind went blank.

”Had fish yesterday, should eat wild boar today.”

”Is my house too small?”

”That dwarf...”

During this crucial moment demanding focus, a flood of useless thoughts filled its brain.

”Water Manipulation.”

As it dazed, Gauss had already arrived in front of it, bursting with speed.

With a sidelong glance at its blank expression, Gauss couldn’t help but appreciate the Confusion Skill’s effect exceeded expectations.

In his hand, Meteora’s Sword radiated dazzling light, its power became stronger than ever.

Inside him, the many suppressive effects against goblins simultaneously took effect.

”Slash!”

Gauss wielded the sword like the wind.

In the next second, dozens of wounds appeared on the goblin leader’s body.

”Puff!!!”

He withdrew the sword, retreating.

The goblin leader erupted in blood, sliced into dozens of pieces in seconds.

Gauss panted briefly.

This is why he enjoyed slaying goblins; indeed, it’s much easier than dealing with other species.

”So... so strong...”

The dwarves watched, enchanted, swallowing hard.
