While Everyone Panicked, I Upgraded My Raft

Chapter 107: Chapter 103: Players Exploding with Creativity

Once everything was crafted, Rowan Rhodes immediately listed them for sale.

[Item: Diving Protective Oxygen Mask]

[Durability: 500]

[Price: 999 Trading Coins]

After listing her items, Rowan absentmindedly browsed the newly released goods in the Sea Survival Shop. To her surprise, other players had already listed quite a few protective Masks.

Rowan inspected them one by one.

[Item: Plastic Oxygen Mask]

[Durability: 200]

[Price: 199 Trading Coins]

[Item: Glass Oxygen Mask]

[Durability: 300]

[Price: 299 Trading Coins]

[Item: Simple Oxygen Mask]

[Durability: 100]

[Price: 99 Trading Coins]

Looking at these Masks, Rowan raised an eyebrow. It seemed quite a few players had the exact same idea as her, and every single one of them had already put it into action.

With the addition of six hundred permanent players, the Sea Survival Shop had become bustling with activity. Their collective creativity had certainly leveled up!

Rowan then turned her attention to the District 122 world channel.

”A ton of Masks just popped up out of nowhere.”

”I managed to snag a simple one. I’m going to try fishing up some resources to see if I can make my money back.”

”Is it just me, or are there way more goods available now?”

”It’s probably because there are more players listing items, and they all have strong crafting abilities.”

”I didn’t have any inspiration before, but now I do.”

”I’m so jealous of players with strong crafting abilities.”

”Did you guys see that newest Mask going for 999 Trading Coins? It’s so expensive!”

”It has higher Durability. Plus, did you notice? It can be used for diving too—a double function. If you have the money, it’s better to buy that one.”

”True. I wonder who made it?”

”It’s highly likely it was Rowan Rhodes.”

”Then why are there only ten in stock?”

”The price is too steep, and there are cheaper alternatives right now, so they probably just made a small batch.”

”Well! I just said that, and all ten are already gone.”

”Will they restock?”

”People actually bought them at that price?”

”There are still a lot of rich players out there!”

”It must be because it’s genuinely useful!”

”I can afford it, but I’m worried it uses too many precious resources. If it breaks, I might not even be able to repair it.”

”Wait, have you guys noticed that the Hook Claws are breaking down at a faster Speed?”

”Does the fog have a corrosive effect on the Hook Claws?”

”It’s not just the Hook Claws. The rafts are deteriorating too.”

”So that’s the catch! I thought it was just an air quality issue this time and we wouldn’t have to worry about repairing our rafts, but it turns out...”

”I need to hurry up and plant some trees.”

”No, what I want to say is, if our Equipment is getting corroded, what about the players’ bodies? Seriously, take it easy if you go outside! You need to constantly monitor your physical condition.”

”Right, it’s best to wear Equipment-grade clothing instead of regular clothes.”

”...”

Obviously, a significant number of players had attempted to venture outside just like Rowan, and they were all drawing conclusions from their experiences. Over time, they had long grown accustomed to sharing their findings in the world channel. With everyone chipping in, it was incredibly easy to fill in the gaps in each other’s knowledge.

Not to mention, there was now an abundance of information-based commodities in the Sea Survival Shop. After purchasing these, many players gained a deeper understanding of the Sea Survival Game and raft upgrades. They unlocked a wealth of experience, resulting in substantial profits.

Many players had already realized the benefits of sharing information. After all, they found that up to this point, aside from exploring islands, there was no direct conflict of interest between players. Even when it came to island exploration, the varying arrival times of players only affected the sheer amount of resources they could gather. And even those surplus resources could simply be traded.

The players in District 122 were the very first to enjoy the perks of resource exchange, making them the quickest to embrace this cooperative mindset. Although other districts with permanent players were a bit slower on the uptake, there was no shortage of smart individuals among them, and they gradually began to follow the same path.

For instance, right at this moment, quite a few lower-ranked players were still mining on Glimmerstone Isle! Copper ore, in particular, had skyrocketed in demand following the rise of circuit boards. With its price surging rapidly, everyone was vigorously mining it. Consequently, these miners made up the main demographic purchasing oxygen Masks.

Permanent players from other districts also keenly detected this market trend. They mobilized the resources of players within their own districts, using the Sea Survival Shop to mutually supply each other’s needs.

Amidst this flurry of activity, Rowan received quite a few private trade requests. As long as she had the items on hand, or could purchase them from the Sea Survival Shop, she fulfilled them one by one.

Under such bustling trade conditions, the number of Trading Coins in Rowan’s possession officially broke the one-hundred-million mark. At the same time, her total transaction count steadily approached the requirement for the next upgrade.
