Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

199: Movie official announcementgame of thrones was officially announced, with Hollywood actress Emilia cast in the role of the Dragon Mother. When Charlotte saw this news, she was just about to attend the party she had mentioned yesterday that she would introduce to Emilia.

In the car, she looked at the news while sneering, ”A third-rate novel, what kind of good thing could possibly come from filming that?”

”Has Emilia gotten old? Her taste has dropped to such a level.”

After the preparations for game of thrones were completed, filming began immediately. Lu Qingyu did not skimp at all on investing in this show, using real scenes for every location.

The rental costs for the locations alone were ridiculously high. During this period, news about game of thrones would appear every few days.

For example: ”In order to film, game of thrones spent 200 million to specifically buy a plot of land to build a castle.”

This wasn’t just someone talking nonsense; it was indeed true.

At the time, while looking for some of the castles described in the book, Lu Qingyu had looked at several but was not satisfied. Finally, he thought, why not build one himself? After the show became a hit, he could even turn this place into a theme park.

When the people in the company heard this proposal, they felt that their boss had too vivid an imagination.

Hans said, ”Boss, we have already started filming. This castle must be ready in 10 days. Building a castle, even if it’s fast, takes at least 2 to 3 years. Our movie cannot be delayed for that long.”

”Boss, if you want to build a theme park, we can just wait until the first season of the script is filmed and everyone likes the story before building it.”

”I agree. So, Boss, let’s first look for available locations. If you aren’t satisfied with these, I’ll go find a few more.”

In the entire meeting room, except for Su Jixing who thought what Lu Qingyu said was okay, not a single one of these foreigners felt that Lu Qingyu’s words were reliable.

Lu Qingyu rubbed his chin. Building a castle actually didn’t need that much time. 2 to 3 years—that was the speed for these foreigners.

If it were the Dragon Country Construction Team, though...

Lu Qingyu said, ”I still want to build the castle.”

The Project Team responded, ”This...”

Everyone looked at each other. Previously, they had been impressed by Lu Qingyu’s aura and had always felt a sense of submission toward the decisions Lu Qingyu made. However, seeing Lu Qingyu’s persistence today, they felt the reality of their boss’s age for the first time.

An eighteen or nineteen-year-old young man would be very persistent when facing something he likes.

Su Jixing said, ”I think this is feasible.”

Hearing Su Jixing speak, the employees looked at him with disbelief.

”Wait, Director, aren’t you usually quite calm?”

”You are an adult already, are you really going to be this reckless too?”

Everyone knew that Su Jixing held an important position in Lu Qingyu’s heart and also had considerable decision-making power in the company. The Project Team tried to persuade Su Jixing to stand on their side.

”Su, we aren’t opposing the boss building a theme park, but we are opposing him building it at this time. The movie project is being conducted under your supervision. We have already invested nearly 300 million. If we stop work, the losses will be huge.”

”Comparing it to the current large-scale theme parks in the country, if we want to build a complete park, we need at least another 200 million. In terms of funds...”

Everyone analyzed the pros and cons, but to Lu Qingyu and Su Jixing, what they heard boiled down to two points: first, the construction time; second, the money.

It was a coincidence: the construction could be left to the Dragon Country, and as for money, Lu Qingyu really wasn’t lacking.

Everyone thought that after finishing their analysis, they would discourage Lu Qingyu, but they didn’t expect it to make Lu Qingyu even more determined to build it.

Lu Qingyu said, ”Hans, make a design drawing. Extract all the castle landscapes from the entire project and make them separately.”

With big question marks in his eyes, Hans asked, ”Are we really going to build it?”

Lu Qingyu said, ”Everyone, rest assured. The filming schedule will proceed as normal; it won’t affect everyone’s filming.”

Everyone really couldn’t persuade Lu Qingyu. In the entire meeting room, only Lu Qingyu and Su Jixing were high-spirited, and they were speaking Chinese, which the others couldn’t understand at all.

The show continued filming. The Project Team was still looking for the castle that would be needed in 10 days, because they felt that they would definitely need it in a few days.

They couldn’t imagine that 10 days later, a castle would rise from the ground.

Hans’s design drawings came out a day later. During this one day, Lu Qingyu contacted China Railway domestically. They had experience with overseas infrastructure, all the workers had passports, and they could come over in the shortest possible time.

Thus, two days later, 300 workers arrived.

The only troublesome thing was buying the land and going through the paperwork. Just when Lu Qingyu was worrying about how to solve this, Moray came to visit the set.

When Lu Qingyu saw the young master, his eyes lit up.

So, with the Bailey Family stepping in, all the relevant land paperwork was settled within a day.

Three days later, construction began.

One week later, the first episode of game of thrones was finished filming.

The Project Team came to find Lu Qingyu again. This time, they brought a lot of pictures, wanting Lu Qingyu to confirm which scene could be used.

The Project Team said, ”Boss, these are some old castles with a sense of history in the surrounding countries. They are currently all open to the public.”

”If the crew wants to use them, we just need to book two days in advance. Take a look and see if there are any you like.”

Lu Qingyu stood up without looking at the materials on the table. ”The location is already ready. Call the people from the department, and I’ll take you to see it.”

Lu Qingyu walked in front. The Project Team leader quickly sent a message to the members in the group, telling them to keep up.

The car drove for more than twenty minutes. Everyone was still wondering if Lu Qingyu had found some private castle.

Until they crossed a desolate stretch of countryside, they actually saw a castle.

The car drove directly to the foot of the castle. This castle was built quite quickly; it was completely finished in 5 days. Now, the construction team was building other landscapes in Area A and Area C.

When the people from the Project Team got out of the car, they were stunned. This castle was built exactly the same as the design drawing Hans had drawn.

When they were looking for old castles, they also referred to Hans’s design drawing, but none of them were exactly the same; they only had a 70% or 80% similarity.

”This, this, this?”

The employee was stuttering. He hadn’t expected that in just a short week, a castle identical to the modeling in game of thrones had actually appeared out of thin air.

”Is this newly built?”

Lu Qingyu said, ”How is it? This place is not bad, right?”

Everyone was so shocked that they were completely speechless. They even took out their phones and frantically took pictures, wanting to keep evidence to prove that everything they saw was real.

”Boss, how did you do it? Do you have magic?”

Lu Qingyu said, ”Isn’t it just building a house? Isn’t that very simple?”

Everyone: ”???” Where is it simple?

Lu Qingyu said, ”I hired the Dragon Country Construction Team.”

The Dragon Country Construction Team was very famous, and everyone had heard of them, but this was the first time they had so tangibly felt how amazing they were.

Lu Qingyu said, ”This speed is still slow; it’s mainly because of the insufficient supply of materials.”

Everyone: ”???” Are you sure this speed is slow?

Everyone followed Lu Qingyu up the castle, dumbfounded.

They could see several areas around them where work was being done. Suddenly, a colleague exclaimed. Everyone turned their heads and, following the direction he was looking, discovered that the construction team opposite was building Kings Landing.
