The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 96: Chapter 077: The Whole Family Is Top-grade (Part 9)

Having confirmed that the male lead had proceeded with the plot, He Tiantian stopped paying attention to these matters.

She directed all her energy into training.

Although she had mastered the skill of Hundred-step Piercing, traditional archery was still different from competitive archery.

She needed to adapt to the Recurve Bow, to learn various competition rules, and to listen to the coach sharing some tips and tricks.

In addition, she had to train her physical fitness.

He Tiantian was proficient in Martial Arts, but the original body’s owner had been pampered.

The body He Tiantian had transmigrated into wasn’t malnourished, but its physical fitness was far from being considered good.

The young girl was unable to shoulder burdens or carry weights; even climbing three or five floors would leave her out of breath.

He Tiantian didn’t engage in overly complex physical training; she and Liu Jianhong ran laps on the track together every day.

Twenty kilometers a day, come rain or shine.

Moreover, she didn’t slack off on necessary arm strength training.

In less than a month since arriving at the provincial training school, He Tiantian had lost six kilograms.

With a height of 166 cm and weighing 98 pounds, she was considered rather slim.

After persisting in intensive exercises for a month, her weight had dropped to just over eighty pounds, which was somewhat too thin.

Coach Chen saw this and was a bit concerned, worried she might overtrain and ruin her health.

He had the team doctor check on her, only to find that while He Tiantian was thin, her body had no issues at all.

She had developed muscles in her arms, abdomen, and legs, which looked very powerful.

”As long as there’s no problem, that’s good! Tiantian, training is indeed important, but you have to look after your health too!” Coach Chen still felt uneasy and reminded her a few times.

He Tiantian obediently agreed, but once she returned, she continued to train as usual.

She wasn’t deliberately ignoring the coach’s words; it was because she had confidence—Inner Strength.

Yes, while He Tiantian exercised her physical fitness, she also retrained her boxing and Inner Strength.

With Inner Strength for adjustment, even if her muscles and bones went through overly strenuous exercise, they could regulate themselves. She wouldn’t have to suffer from any lasting ailments due to overtraining.

Moreover, He Tiantian discovered that if she managed her inner breath well, she could also adjust her body to the best possible state.

”Ah, if ordinary Inner Strength is already this miraculous, if there really were the Nine Yin Scripture or Yijinjing, wouldn’t that be defying the heavens?”

He Tiantian personally felt the benefits of Inner Strength and couldn’t help but think to herself.

Student Xiao D:...This could work. But Tiantian, if you really ended up in those martial arts novel worlds, you, you might blow a fuse.

Daring not to speak or think further, Student Xiao D shrank into a ball of fluff, quietly hiding in a corner of the library space.

He Tiantian didn’t notice Xiao D’s anomaly and continued with her training.

Time flew quickly, and before she knew it, the day for the National Team selection had arrived.

He Tiantian had thoroughly adapted to competitive archery, and her nickname ”Tenth Ring He” had been firmly established.

”Tenth Ring He?” The National Team’s head coach was curious.

”Yes, that’s Tenth Ring He, He Tiantian. This girl has incredible talent and is especially stable.”

Coach Chen enthusiastically promoted his protégé, ”Not just a steady hand, but a steady heart, and her scores are even steadier, once she shoots, it’s a ten!”

”Old Chen, you’re not talking about a Heavenly Book, are you? Is there really such a competitor?” The head coach didn’t believe it.

Having one or two tens, the head coach believed, because with talent and enough effort, it was possible.

But to always shoot tens, that seemed exaggerated.

He wouldn’t dare make such claims even in tall tales.

”What are you talking about, Heavenly Books? I’m telling the truth. Hey, if you don’t believe it, just come and see for yourself.”

Coach Chen said confidently, ”Our Tiantian truly has the talent!”

The head coach was persuaded and indeed needed to visit the provincial team, after all, the National Team needed to recruit fresh blood.

When He Tiantian met the head coach, she wasn’t too nervous; she remained incredibly stable.

Ten! Ten!

A glimmer of surprise flickered in the eyes of the head coach.

However, he didn’t rush to make a statement but instead had the staff simulate emergency scenarios.

He got some people to haul over several electric fans, which they set up to blow around the target in a disorderly fashion.

The wind was strong, fluttering the target paper with a whirring sound.

In such windy conditions, the difficulty of archery multiplied.

He Tiantian stood exposed, not rushing to shoot but carefully observing the frequency and force with which the target paper flipped to gauge the wind strength.
