The Golem Mage

Despite the fact that the sea demon commanders were all Tier 5 lifeforms, they found themselves outmatched by the golems who were captain ranks and possessed exceptional combat skills, as well as special weapons, it became increasingly apparent that, no matter how many reinforcements rushed in, the sea demons would struggle to contain the golems.

Amidst the chaotic battle, Oni swiftly hooked the leg of the sea demon he was facing with his scythe, propelling it towards Saint, who was engaged with another sea demon, As the demon closed in on him, Saint skillfully split his great sword into two broadsword, with precision, he pierced the heart of the sea demon sent flying at him while deftly parrying the attack of the other.

”How dare you underestimate me!” the sea demon he was facing seethe from anger, infuriated by Saint’s ability to hold his ground while even facing two of them despite fighting blindfolded, Little did the sea demon know that Saint concealed five additional blades behind him.

The remaining sea demon, was from the sea horse race, and galloped toward Saint with fast , knocking the dual broadswords from his hands away, however even though he was disarm , and before the sea demon could inflict any harm, Saint exhibited a display of mysterious foot techniques.

Stretching out two fingers, he moved them as though is fingers is a sword, and moments later a flaming blade was summoned made entirely of pure Mana. This scorching sword materialized in front of him and followed the same movement he made with his fingers, swiftly severed the sea demon commander’s legs.

”Queen!” Saint called out, directing his attention to the Hive Queen, who raised one of her formidable legs and launched it toward him.

Despite the tremendous force behind the leg shoot, Saint managed to catch the bladed leg of the Hive Queen in a reverse grip, and In one seamless motion, he lunged the bladed leg into the heart of the sea demon commander.

”Do I get credit for that kill too?” The Hive Queen asked playfully, as Saint threw her bladed leg back towards her, which seamlessly clicked back into its place as if it had never been detached in the first place.

”You can have it, I already have one kill to my name,” Saint replied with a slight smile, raising his right hand, His disassembled weapon flew towards him, assembling back into its great sword form.

The Hive Queen shook her head, observing Saint intently, unlike the other golems vying for the top rank, she had no interest in such a position.

Instead, she chose to stay behind and support the others while her upgraded children wreaked havoc on the battlefield, her remark had been intended as a joke, a result of her boredom from solely watching the fights.

However, she was taken aback when Saint readily accepted, without hesitating for a second, he projected an image of someone joining in for the sheer fun of it, giving her a newfound impression of him.

Watching from a high vantage point, Alec and the system spirit were confident that the battle was nearing its end.

Initially, Alec had not intended to massacre so many sea demons, but the inexplicable force drawing them to this location had compelled him otherwise, as he observed, Legion landed on the rooftop.

”Please tell me you have good news now,” Alec requested eagerly.

”I located the leader of the sea demon horde attempting to escape through the route leading to the ports, he should be nearing the area at this very moment,” Legion explained.

”Thanks!” Alec exclaimed, taking to the air with great force,

Bang!

The sound of his swift flight towards the port echoed loudly, fueled by his eagerness to confront the mastermind behind it all.

Legion activated his boosters, following closely behind Alec, the reason he refrained from causing havoc on the ground like the other golems was because Alec had assigned him a vital mission: scanning the entire area for any signs of suspicious movement.

Given Legion’s unique body structure, he possessed the most extensive area search ability, if Legion couldn’t detect someone in his scanner, it meant that even Alec wouldn’t be able to detect them with his mental domain.

It took some time to pinpoint the location amidst the sea demons swarming the area and converging toward Alec’s position. However, after a few minutes, Legion finally identified a heat map highlighting a group of sea demons retreating to the port, while the rest continued their advance towards Alec’s golems location, these retreating sea demons inadvertently revealed their position.

Meanwhile, the system spirit chose not to follow them, It was engrossed in observing Magnito unleash a relentless barrage of long metal shard attacks, no matter the sea demon faced with this assault, they failed to defend against it and met a gruesome end.

Flying at a rapid pace, Alec caught up with the mastermind of the sea demons, who was stealthily attempting to escape. The sea demon leader couldn’t comprehend how an attack had infiltrated his main camp without his knowledge, but the mastermind’s cautious nature had propelled them towards escape, reaffirming the warning of the system spirit had given Alec.

Locking eyes with Alec, the leader of the sea demons realized he was only accompanied by one golem, who had finally caught up in full speed, however, what surprised Alec was the presence of ten additional sea demon commanders in the vicinity.

As Alec observed the sea demon leader, he recalled the information that had mentioned the horde only having ten commanders, however, the sight of an additional ten commanders led Alec to believe it was a tactic to confuse any mage attempting to attack them.

As it was a clever strategy, as no one would expect to face twenty sea demons instead of the expected ten, this tactic allowed the sea demons to expose a false message about the true strength of their army, deceiving the humans.

Despite this revelation, Alec remained unfazed, while he continued his observation of the sea demon leader, who had taken on a human form, the leader also observed Alec. Frowning upon detecting Alec’s realm, he realized he was only being chased by a peak Tier 4 mage and his summon, who was also in the Tier 4 realm.

”The first one who kills him will be rewarded!” the sea demon horde leader declared defiantly, no longer fleeing but instead standing his ground with confidence.

As the horde commanders also sensed Alec’s realm, they grew enraged at the notion of being pursued by someone they believed to be weaker than them, motivated by their leader’s promise of rewards, they too entered a state of furious rage.

Casting various water element spells, the commanders unleashed a barrage of magical attacks towards Alec, however, before Alec could even raise his hand to defend himself, Legion swiftly appeared in front of him.

Stretching out his left hand, Legion’s mechanical shield emerged from his gauntlet, as the magical attacks closed in, a potent wide energy shield materialized, infused with Legion’s mana, effectively blocking all the water spells.

”Leave them to me, Master. Just go and deal with the leader,” Legion confidently assured Alec.

Summoning his laser spear with the other hand and unleashing his powerful aura, Legion’s presence matched that of Titan, as he was also at the high Tier 4 golem realm, his entire body seemed transformed from before, as it was adorned with a variety of new gadgets and enhancements.

”Embrace death!” Legion declared, activating the boosters behind him, with a surge of power, he propelled himself towards the ten sea demon commanders, fully prepared to engage them in a fierce clash.
