The instant Alec shed his iron bracers, he transcended into a new echelon of power.

He sensed a significant surge in all his attributes, a testament to his remarkable progress, yet, he was determined to leave nothing to chance before confronting the Chronomancer, as he was even ready to use his available stats points.

”Allocate three points to agility, fifteen to endurance, and a full thirty to strength,” Alec commanded through a mental directive.

The system, ever responsive to his will, promptly executed his commands immediately.

As Alec’s stats underwent another transformation, he could practically feel his muscles straining with untapped strength as he locked his gaze on the formidable figure of the Chronomancer.

Even the Chronomancer sensed a shift in Alec, though he couldn’t quite pinpoint it, however, his instincts warned him that Alec had become significantly more dangerous than before.

Attempting to maneuver closer, the Chronomancer soon realized that Alec still had more to reveal.

With a swift motion, Alec removed his academy shirt, unveiling a sculpted chest and abs that appeared to have be chiselled by the hands of an ancient Greek artist.

His spirit equipment tattoo materialize and began to run across Alec’s skin, spreading rapidly till they all connected and transformed into the vibrant red Salamander armour set.

His hair too underwent a striking transformation too as he placed his hand on his weapon just as his waist, with the left side dominated by a deep brown shade while the right side exhibited a bold red hue, pushing the darkness of his hair towards the tips.

Cracking his neck, Alec met the Chronomancer’s gaze with a confident smile, even though the Chronomancer was a Tier 5 Mage, Alec’s boosted stats now granted him the raw power of a peak Tier 4 Mage, combined with the additional stats of the Red Salamander armour set.

Alec believed he wouldn’t be helpless against the Chronomancer this time, and even if he struggled, he wouldn’t be as woefully outmatched as before.

With Alec poised and prepared, he didn’t hesitate to take the initiative this time, as he dashed towards the Chronomancer and disappearing from the sight of his team.

They all gasped at Alec’s speed, finally understanding why he had told them to stay back, there was no way they could match the velocity he had just demonstrated, if they joined the fight, they would be unable to keep up and would only hinder him.

The Chronomancer saw a fiery fist hurtling toward him and raised his hands, casting a time-pause spell around his palms in anticipation of Alec’s strike.

However, the fiery fist was merely a feint by Alec, designed to deceive him, as the Chronomancer reacted, Alec’s image flickered; he wasn’t lunging at the Chronomancer again but had already closed the distance at ground level.

He withdrew his right fist and delivered a low jab to the Chronomancer’s ribs by employing his left fist, which was encased in an earth fist spell, Alec struck with surprising force.

That made the Chronomancer winced in pain, bending slightly, only for Alec to follow up with an uppercut from his fiery fist and a hook punch with his stone fist.

A barrage of punches rained down on the Chronomancer, who raised both hands after casting a distortion spell in defense, hoping to mitigate the onslaught.

Alec’s teammates watched, mouths agape, as his relentless assault unfolded, All they could see was a blur of red and brown clashing against a shimmer of yellow as Alec fought the Chronomancer.

Realizing that his punches weren’t having the desired effect, Alec executed a sweeping kick, striking the Chronomancer’s legs and toppling him to the ground, without missing a beat, Alec smashed his foot into the Chronomancer’s stomach.

Bang!

The kick propelled the Chronomancer several meters back, landing with a thud that resonated through the area.

Alec took a stance, waiting for his opponent to rise and continue the fight.

The Chronomancer regained his footing, with a smile creeping across his face as he wiped the blood trickling from his mouth, one side of his mask was shattered, revealing a grin that was both amused and menacing.

”You never cease to impress me,” the Chronomancer acknowledged, locking eyes with Alec.

”But if you think my time spells require physical contact to affect you, you’re sorely mistaken.”

Assuming a peculiar stance, the Chronomancer stood tall, his feet firmly planted on the ground, his legs were spread slightly wider than shoulder-width, establishing a stable base.

His weight was balanced, with a readiness to spring into motion at any moment, his upper body leaned forward slightly, exuding an air of aggression.

His core muscles were taut, signalling a controlled power, his arms and shoulders remained relaxed yet primed, like a predator ready to pounce.

His hands, raised to the level of his ears, were curled into fists that could both defend and attack with lethal precision.

From beneath the remnants of his mask, his gaze was intense and unwavering, his eyes locked onto Alec with a steely determination.

Alec’s expression turned contemplative; the stance was familiar, as a nagging echo of a memory, he knew he had seen this move before.

”Muay Thai martial arts!” Alec exclaimed, recognizing the technique.

”You’re quite knowledgeable, now, witness the fruits of my Muay Thai training for years inside a time loop,” the Chronomancer boasted, closing the distance with swift movements.

Alec could track his approach, but as soon as the Chronomancer’s legs shifted, Alec realized he was powerless to stop the time-accelerated strike.

A brutal low kick swept Alec’s legs, throwing off his balance.

Before he could regain his footing, another vicious strike targeted his thigh, eliciting a pained groan from him.

The Chronomancer then executed a sweeping leg motion, driven by the rotation of his hips, and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to Alec’s head.

The impact sent Alec flying, tumbling before he managed to right himself and assume a defensive stance once more.

Struggling to rise, Alec spat out blood, feeling his internal injuries worsen after being thrown like that, the Chronomancer’s assault was not only lethal but also cruelly efficient.

With each kick, the Chronomancer used time magic to momentarily stun Alec’s body, rendering the affected parts immobile with limited Time pause effects, and Before the time paralysis on the certain part of his body could dissipate, Alec was struck again making another part of his body enter a Time pause state again , demonstrating the lethal synergy of Muay Thai with time manipulation.

”How did you like that?” the Chronomancer taunted, his right hand outstretched towards Alec, sending a shiver of dread through him .

”Let’s go another round,” the Chronomancer declared, not waiting for Alec’s response.
