The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Half a month passed, and the engagement ceremony between Kaito and his fiancées was set to take place in just a few days. Consequently, after a long break, Kaito was finally compelled to get to work—specifically, welcoming guests from various factions and pantheons. Thanks to his feat of defeating Sirzech in a one-on-one duel, Kaito had garnered immense interest from the supernatural factions, with many eager to befriend him. Naturally, Kaito had no objections; he, too, wanted to make plenty of friends in this world, as having friends was far better than having enemies.

Kaito, Kazuma, and Rimuru are currently seated at a reception desk in front of a magnificent mansion, all of them dressed in black suits. Spanning 3,000 square meters, the mansion was built specifically for Kaito’s engagement ceremony and is destined to become his residence in the Underworld.

The land itself was an engagement gift from the Four Satans, and Kaito is deeply touched by it.

Incidentally, the Four Satans have finally agreed to join forces with Kaito; Ajuka, in particular, is enthusiastic and has been traveling back and forth to the base world several times a week. However, they have yet to announce these merger plans—or at least, they are waiting for Kaito’s event to conclude so that the engagement proceedings remain undisturbed.

Unfortunately, Kaito’s engagement ceremony is bound to be disrupted—and, ironically, the chat group members already know this, thanks to Aika, who asked the system.

...

”Boss, can we just strike them instead of passively defending? We already know Khaos Brigade, Old Satan Faction, and Rizevim are going to disturb your engagement party! Why aren’t you mad about it?” Kazuma suggested.

”Calm down, Kazuma-chi~” Rimuru, sipping on a juice box calmly and patting his shoulder. ”It’s not like they would attack during the engagement itself. We at least know they’re only making trouble at the end~ so we already prepared a plan to contain the chaos.”

”Besides, this is a plan from Aika-san, and the prediction itself consumes Aika points. Do you really want to make her angry, Kazuma?” Rimuru reminded.

”Errr... on second thought, f-forget my idea.” Kazuma quickly changed his mind. ”It’s not like I am going to fight anyway.”

Kazuma was well aware that while Kaito is the leader, Aika holds the most authority in the chat group as the boss’s wife. Offending her would be the last thing he wanted to do, and he believes many members also hold the same opinion.

...

”Honestly, I also want to just strike Rizevim at this home and kill that troublemaker.” Kaito did agree with Kazuma, but he didn’t want to mess up the plan. ”But if I do that, their movement would be unpredictable, and as Rimuru said, it will waste Aika points.”

Besides that, Kaito was also not confident about beating Rizevim in one go. After almost getting beaten by Sirzech, Kaito no longer underestimated any 6* powerhouse. In the High School DxD story, it was stated that Rizevim is also a super devil, same as Sirzech, and after showing many of his trump cards and abilities in public, Rizevim was probably more wary of him and decided to escape.

Kaito has learned his lesson and reflected on his mistake after a month.

Though he still has more deadly trump cards, like the forbidden time imprisonment he does to Tendo Kikunojo, Kaito would rather not use such a dangerous ability ever again.

,,,

”Rather than Khaos Brigade itself, I am still more concerned with Ophis, you know?” Kaito conveyed his real reason.

”Ahh! That’s right! It’s Ophis-chan we should be more concerned about!” Rimuru enthusiastically commented, ”I am not her opponent yet. Although I brought Milim to help, we all know Ophis is going to win because this is her world.”

...

Concerned whether their fighting force was enough to resist Khaos Brigade, Rimuru even brought many subordinates to help with the engagement party chaos. Right now, all of them were waiting under Minamiya Natsuki’s arrangement in the base world and planned to send them when the engagement party actually started.

Milim was especially brought out by Rimuru since he believed the only one who could handle an overpowered little girl besides Kaito was another overpowered little girl!

...

”Either way, thank you for your help, Rimuru.” Kaito expressed his gratitude.

”Sure thing, Kaito. Everyone is friends after all~” Rimuru casually replied.

”That’s right!” Kazuma nodded. After spending months with everyone, he truly enjoyed his second life now. ”Besides that boss, I bet you still want to run that Ophis kidnapping plan, right?”

Kaito’s face darkened. ”Don’t slander your boss, oi! It’s not kidnapping, it’s persuasion!”

”Sounds the same to me.” Rimuru retorted, ”After all, Kaito-kun, you are really a veteran when it comes to kidnapping little girls. Misaka’s sister, formed cursed children, Nayuta, Dolly, and even when Milim comes to visit you, you easily tame her with ice cream!”

”Indeed. Indeed.” Kazuma nods in agreement.

”Errr... It’s all force majeure; you guys know it well too. I just have good compatibility with these girls.” Kaito explained in a resigned tone. ”Anyway, as long as Ophis saw my offer, I had no doubt she would easily agree to join us. Just wait until all of them come in.”

After asking the system and learning the engagement party would be attacked, they also learned that Ophis is coming with the Khaos Brigade to crash in later. This is part of the reason why Kaito decided to follow ’the plot’ because who knows if Ophis is still coming if he decides to just kill Rizevim ahead. After all, this world also has a world will, and changing too much might antagonize it, which is something Kaito didn’t want to do.

...

”Umm! That’s the reason why I brought Milim in the first place.” Rimuru chimed in, ”I still believe only another overpowered little girl can handle another overpowered little girl!”

”That makes sense.” Kaito held his chin, nodded slightly, ”How about you, Kazuma?”

”As for me, boss, I will cheer on the side!” Kazuma shamelessly replied, ”I am still too weak to fight anything city buster, you know?”

”No, I have a mission.” Kaito shook his head and ordered, ”Just bring Aqua later; who knows how many people died in the attack, and we want to resurrect all of them later.”

”Ah... but... wouldn’t her presence ruin the engagement party?” Kazuma, twitching his eyes, complained. After spending many months following Aqua, Kazuma knew how troublesome that goddess is, and he wouldn’t imagine the consequences of bringing her out in that kind of sacred event.

She could even start a drinking party in the middle of an engagement and start chasing devils around because she thinks they need to be eradicated!

Kaito was obviously aware of how troublesome Aqua is, but he also knew the event was bound to have casualties, and he couldn’t let people just die in his own engagement party. ”It can’t be helped. Either way, your main mission is to ensure that goddess won’t make much trouble.”

”Wow, that’s quite a difficult mission.” Rimuru shook his head.

”Boss, you are asking a bit too much...” Kazuma complained. ”You know how troublesome that goddess is! I wouldn’t be surprised if she started purification wantonly at an engagement party full of devils!”

”Well, I will give you 50.000 points to do this mission as compensation.”

”Affirmative, boss. Leave it to me!”

The moment Kazuma heard the reward, he quickly changed his mind and accepted the mission... which made both Kaito and Rimuru laugh. Either way, with 50.000 points, Kazuma could get a cool ability from the system and, at worst, he could share the reward with Aqua with the promise to let her behave during the party.

After waiting for a while, the first guest from another supernatural faction finally came. A magic circle suddenly appeared in front of them, and a few seconds later, a one-eyed old man with a long white beard wearing a blue robe and a young, pretty woman with straight silver hair and aqua-colored eyes wearing Valkyrie armor appeared together.

Both of them are prominent characters in High School DxD, and one of them even became Issei’s harem member, so everyone recognized them. It was Odin, the former chief deity of Norse mythology, and his bodyguard, Rossweisse.

”Welcome, esteemed guests, God Odin from Norse mythology and his bodyguard.” Kaito greeted them and bowed slightly, with Rimuru and Kazuma following from behind.

””Welcome!!””

Odin and Rossweisse naturally also recognized him, and Odin himself quickly greeted back, ”Hahaha! I certainly didn’t expect the main star of this party to greet us directly!”

Odin turned around and teased, ”What do you think, Rossweisse? Kaito-kun is handsome, right? How about you also join the party and become one of his fiancées?!”

Rossweisse blushed and complained, ”Stop joking, Odin-sama. We are here as guests!”

”I am not joking, Ross-kun~” Odin grinned, patted her shoulder, and delivered a blow. ”I am concerned about you, a valkyrie whose age is equal to the number of years without a boyfriend.”

Hearing that, Rossweisse stumbled to the ground and started to sob, ”Ugh... It’s not like I don’t want a boyfriend... but no one wants to get close to me....”

”Hahaha! That’s why I told you this is an opportunity! If you could become Kaito’s fiancée, that would also greatly help our pantheon!” Odin added.

”That’s the real purpose, isn’t it! You actually don’t care about me, right, Odin-sama?!” Rosseweisse glared while Odin was still laughing.

”””...”””

Meanwhile, Kaito, Rimuru, and Kazuma watched their performance silently, unsure how to react. Although Kazuma envied how easily Kaito got close to a pretty woman and wanted to offer himself as a candidate boyfriend for Rossweisse... he wasn’t so stupid as to make a fool of himself in this official setting.

After a bit, Odin realized they were supposed to attend an engagement party and quickly apologized to Kaito, ”Ahahaha... sorry about me teasing my old woman bodyguard... (Rossweisse : I am not old!) You didn’t mind, right? Kaito the Magical Boy”

Kaito shook his head and twitched his mouth, ”No. Also, just call me Kaito, Odin-sama. There’s no need to add the ’Magical Boy’ moniker.”

”Hahaha! I thought your title was pretty fun, and you have a hobby of crossdressing!” Odin teased, which earned a chuckle from Rimuru and Kazuma.

”I am not.” Kaito complained, ”It was special circumstances, and I swear to not use that cursed chainsaw ever again!”

”Pfft! In my opinion, there’s no need to be ashamed about your ability; in the end, what matters is how they used it, not how they look.” Odin offered his wisdom and then said while offering his hand, ”Also, no need to add -sama. Just call me Odin; I have acknowledged you as someone equal to me, Kaito-kun, and I hate all of these official formalities.”

Kaito nodded, accepted his hand, and both of them shook hands. ”Sure, Odin-san. I also hate formalities too.”

Seeing Odin and Kaito communicate pleasantly, Rossweisse, who was still a bit ashamed, also introduced himself while slightly bowing her head, ”U-Umm... hello, Kaito-sama. My name is Rossweisse, and I am here as Odin-sama’s bodyguard. I-I am sorry for my unslight appearance before.”

”Uh... raise your head, Rossweisse-san. It’s okay.” Kaito smiled at her and encouraged her, ”Besides, it’s not unslight; I think you are a pretty beautiful woman, Rossweisse-san.”

”Umm... thank you for your compliment, Kaito-sama.”

With such beautiful silver hair, blue eyes, and a sexy body, Kaito genuinely finds Rossweisse attractive, especially because that silver hair holds great attraction for him. Meanwhile, neither Rimuru nor Kazuma was surprised at all by Kaito’s reaction, as they were also aware of how their leader seems to love silver- and blonde-haired women.

Odin, as an expert womanizer who goes to Oppai Club, naturally sees Kaito being honest and offered, ”Hahahaha! It seems you take a fancy to my girl! Yo, boy! Interested in taking Rossweisse too? Adding one more fiancée wouldn’t hurt, right?!”

”Odin-sama!” Rossweisse blushed and complained, but she didn’t dare to look at Kaito.

In fact, she also thinks Kaito is pretty handsome, and so far her impression of him is pretty good. As for multiple fiancées, Rossweisse didn’t find it weird; With his powerful strength, it’s natural for Kaito to have multiple women around.

”Kaito, don’t you dare.” Rimuru reminded.

”I am recording right now,” Kazuma added.

With two spies beside him, Kaito wryly smiled while raising both hands. ”Umm... I will pass. My other fiancée would beat me if I dare pull this kind of stunt.”

Although it’s undeniable that Rossweisse is pretty, he’s not an irresponsible man who gets hooked on a new woman when his engagement party is going to happen very soon!

”Is that so? Then I assume you are willing to get her after the party?” Odin continues to tease.

”Uh... who knows.” Kaito shook his head, unwilling to answer. Knowing his bad luck, if Rossweisse is fated to be with him (or the world will arrange it), then it could really happen. Not to mention, Rossweisse’s appearance belongs to Kaito’s strike zone!

”Odin-sama! Stop making me embarrassed!” Rossweisse is throwing a tantrum, even shaking Odin, but he naturally ignores her.

”Hahahaha! I am trying to help you here, Ross-kun!” Odin commented while laughing, then turned to Kaito with a lecherous gaze. ”But speaking of your wives, boy! One of your wives really looks like Sirzech’s wife. Have you guys played the wife trade?”

”That... Sirzech-sama actually did talk about that before.” Kaito scratched his head. ”But it’s just a joke. You know?”

”Oh boy! How about this: just invite me if you do such a thing, then I will give a gift.” Odin offered, opening his arms wide, ”I will gift you a premium membership card to the Oppai club; how about it?”

...!!!!

”Uhh... that’s really tempting.” (Kaito)

”Odin-sama, can you get another one for me! I want to join such a prestigious group! ” (Kazuma)

”That sounds interesting. Can I join too?” (Rimuru)

”Why does everyone sound so unreliable!?” (Rossweisse)

...

Upon hearing Odin’s offer, Kaito, Kazuma, and Rimuru, being ”normal men”, were tempted and curious about that kind of place. While they had no intention of harassing young women the way Odin did, they were certainly intrigued by the place the chief deity and Azazel frequented. Kazuma, in particular, quickly bonded with Odin after the two recognized each other as fellow ”gentlemen” (read: perverts).

They grew close, and Odin promised to take them to the ”Oppai Club” sometime. In return, Kaito and Kazuma promised to invite the group to their home (their base world) for a vacation later on. After all, if the Devil race were to relocate en masse, the secret of the base world would inevitably be revealed; besides, there were plans to construct a portal to facilitate easier travel between the two worlds.

Rossweisse was the only one who simply resigned herself to their conversation, though Kaito’s promise of a vacation at his home piqued her interest her start imagining if Kaito genuinely has interest in her.

Well, Rossweisse does end up working for Kaito later on, as he genuinely appreciates Rossweisse’s serious attitude towards work... which kind of manpower Kaito really needs.
